The magma cannot reflect the figures on the shores like a lake.

Lu Li climbed to the summit and gazed at the volcano’s crater, radiating heat from the Lava Lake. No Hell Creatures were present on the boiling magma. Was that Core Earth Demon deep in the magma?

Lu Li didn’t rashly dive into the Lava Lake. He stayed on the shore, leaned his staff against himself, took out a silver box from his pocket, and opened it—a square-shaped flowing Soul Orb was brimming inside.

At that mont, the inverted pentagram brand on the back of his hand burned suddenly and intensely.

Lu Li realized this was a reminder—the second day had passed.

A tenth of the ti had passed. He had 23 days left.

After a brief pause, Lu Li touched the Soul Orb with his left hand. 7700 souls were refined and surged into his own soul.

Lu Li had always speculated that reaching 100 units of humanity would cause so kind of change, and he was half right—this change doesn’t appear at a certain point but gradually erges with accumulation: 130 units of humanity make Lu Li’s soul seem cloaked in a layer of faint light. It resembles the phosphorescence of the Mother of the Marsh but is more obscure.

The growth also extended to an aura and range that Lu Li could not perceive himself, and this external change was manifested in the no longer peaceful Lava Lake: a strange tide appeared on the once serene volcanic crater’s magma lake, swirling towards the shore, trying to drag Lu Li into the water.

Yet when the viscous and scorching waves receded, Lu Li remained standing at the lakeside, leaning on his staff.

The Lava Lake seed to be enraged by the silhouette standing on the shore, brewing terrifying waves over ten ters high, continually crashing towards the tiny figure—

The flooding lava that crept onto the shores seed to erode another portion of the lake’s edge, yet as the tide receded, it still revealed the immovable silhouette like a rock.

Crash—

The volcanic rock underfoot suddenly quivered and cracked, with dark red magma gushing out from the fissures, replacing the shattered ground and turning it into lava beneath his feet.

And then, that silhouette beca suspended over the magma.

The series of failures seed to infuriate a dormant consciousness at the lake’s bottom. The boiling Lava Lake beca like a storm-lashed sea, gradually stirring towering angry waves. Lu Li’s silhouette flickered in the angry magma; just as he was about to be engulfed by the giant waves, he rose from the blistering heat, distancing himself from the rising Lava Lake.

It seed to realize that the magma couldn’t engulf this fragrant, peculiar soul. The magma at the lake’s center roared and boiled, with so terrifying presence rising.

A pure light sphere erged, making the magma boil, brighter than flas, and even hotter, its terrifying heat distorting the surrounding space.

Lu Li corresponded to a bizarre dreamscape, rising against the Core Earth Demon, like a dark moon against a blazing sun.

...

Several miles away from the Volcano Nest, in Inner Sea Town.

The Hell Demon Horde in the lava beach beast pens were uneasy and restless, frequently growling and roaring towards the town’s southwest direction.

In the town, the Demons seed to sense sothing, gazing towards the distant erging glow, whispering uneasily about the change.

In the depths of the Inner Sea’s magma, this scorching hot place, a deep consciousness clashed with the viscous magma.

"Core Earth Demon...the soul that left..."

...

Lu Li patiently awaited the Core Earth Demon’s attack. Soon, he lowered his gaze downwards.

The agitated magma lake was brewing, suddenly spewing out hundreds of ters high fla pillars, engulfing the lowered Lu Li.

Unlike conversations with the Old Fla Demon, the Core Earth Demon’s intent was clear—to devour this strange soul.

When the fla pillar fell, Lu Li reappeared in the sulfurous gas-filled air, clutching the oaken staff as he flew towards the Core Earth Demon.

The fla pillar followed the sliding dark moon but could never make it fall. At this ti, a subtle fluctuation emanated from the floating luminous fireball.

Splash—splash—

The viscous lava lake seemingly swiftly receded, revealing a large ugly riverbed. The magma was manipulated to rise, in the volcano’s sky above by the Fla Demon, that moving dark moon.

The continuously gathered magma eventually ford a lava sphere several hundred ters in diater.

A subtle ripple once again emanated from the Core Earth Demon’s light sphere, the magma sphere condensed and contracted, the swirling dark molten beca heated and bright.

As the subtle ripple sent ripples cascading, the magma sphere pulsed like a heartbeat, contracting from hundreds of ters to just over a dozen ters, its surface cracking with dazzling light spots, the scorching heat twisting the surrounding space, the brilliant radiance consuming everything at the volcano crater.

Even as far as Inner Sea Town, so miles away, a blurred light sphere could be seen rising.

The magma sphere ceased pulsating and contracting, quietly hovering over the nearly dried magma lake, yet it wasn’t long before a black-spot shadow suddenly surfaced within the radiant glow—

The eroding black spot gradually expanded, forming a nearly three-ter diater dim aura, with Lu Li’s silhouette within, unscathed.

The strongest force couldn’t scorch even the corner of the soul’s garnt, nor ignite the staff. The Core Earth Demon began harboring retreat thoughts, the luminous sphere started descending.

At this mont, the freed dark moon suddenly accelerated, contacting before the Core Earth Demon retreated into the volcano.

Like a solar eclipse happening, the dark moon overlapped with the blazing sun, with the latter vanishing.

The boiling Lava Lake instantly returned to calm, but only temporarily—when the condensed magma sphere crashed into the Lava Lake, the splash created hundreds of ters high waves, battering against the volcano rock walls, surging towards the mountain foot, swamping the wandering Inferior Demons around the volcano.

"Was it Xiu Miya who sent you..."

Among the Dreamwalkers, the no longer searing nor radiant light sphere rippled slightly.

This was the Core Earth Demon’s first sentence; Lu Li guessed this was the na of the Old Fla Demon in Inner Sea Town.

"No."

After waiting for a mont, the light sphere no longer sent consciousness dialogues, Lu Li directly enveloped it with the obscure dreamscape.

Without new changes, humanity abruptly increased from the stagnant 130 share to nearly 150 soul shares.

The dead Core Earth Demon left behind a Light Core, Lu Li reached out to catch the warm Light Core. Shedding its frenzied and scorching exterior, this Light Core was unexpectedly calm and gentle.

The test ended, indeed Advanced Demons couldn’t invade Dreamwalkers.

Now, with the Core Earth Demon dead, Lu Li obtained a ticket to Inner Sea Town.

Regardless whether the Core Earth Demon was Old Fla Demon’s friend or foe—

Lu Li suddenly sensed the earth vibrating, and the air boiling.

The nearly dried magma boiled, releasing sulfuric gases from the earth’s depths, the volcano trembled, rolling rocks swallowed by the Lava Lake, tributaries blocked by earth’s quakes.

Without the suppression of the Core Earth Demon, or maybe this volcano was indeed created by the Core Earth Demon, it vaguely showed signs of erupting.

Lu Li was powerless about this, and just then, an imposing aura like that of a Fire Lord spread from distant Inner Sea, lingering between the volcanoes.

The fiery aura quelled the restless volcano, restoring its calm, stabilizing the magma lake’s mighty wave-raising collisions, but continued to reveal large ugly volcano rock riverbeds.

Just now, was it the Old Fla Demon who suppressed the impending volcanic eruption?

Lu Li gazed towards the direction the fiery aura ca from, but the rising heat distorted his vision.

Now it’s ti to head back to Inner Sea Town.
