Lawrence Winters and Kenneth Osborne walked up to them and stood firmly before them.
Lawrence said nothing but stretched her left hand adorned with a big diamond ring in front of her mother, shaking the ring slightly.
Gabrielle imdiately, with a woman’s sharp instinct, caught that flash of rainbow light.
Her gaze shifted from the TV to the source of the rainbow light.

"What?!" Nick Zeller had been lounging and scrolling through the Celestial Path APP; he lacked a woman’s intuition and hadn’t noticed what new thing was added to Lawrence’s hand earlier.
Now with Gabrielle’s call-out, Nick was startled, and so distracted that he forgot to put down his crossed leg, trying to stand up, ending up tumbling off the sofa edge and rolling onto the floor, right to Lawrence and Kenneth’s feet.
Lawrence: "..."
Kenneth: "..."
The two exchanged a look and couldn’t help wanting to laugh.
Lawrence reacted quickly, imdiately squatting down, extending her hand towards Nick and saying, "Uncle, look at this diamond ring. Isn’t it beautiful? I always said I wanted this kind of ring when I was a child, and Kenneth really rembered!"
Nick stared at the diamond ring for a long ti, unable to find a single flaw, begrudgingly rising from the floor and sitting back on the sofa, saying with a stern face, "What’s this about? How co you went off and got engaged privately?"
