Caron Spencer’s face wasn’t looking bad, but it wasn’t good either.
He stared at Sumr Spencer for a while, his gaze seemingly calm, and faintly humd before pulling the woman beside him over, smiling as he spoke to Justus Spencer, Spring Spencer, and Sumr Spencer, "I’ve called you here today to get acquainted."
"This is Brooke Osborne, she’ll be with from now on, your fourth aunt. She has a special connection with , once saved and Spring, and now she takes care of devotedly—I’m very pleased."
Then he admonished Hazel Winchester and Sumr Spencer, "Hazel, you’re getting older, you don’t need to take care of , just take care of Sumr, don’t let her get hot-headed and be incited to cause trouble, or it will tarnish the na of Spencer Group."
When he said these words, he didn’t cast a single glance at Molly Zimrman.
Molly Zimrman’s face turned from red to white, wishing she could find a hole to crawl into.
In the past, Caron Spencer was quite kind to her. Though they didn’t et often, whenever she called him "Uncle," he always responded with a gentle smile.
Never had he been like this, not even turning his eyes toward her.
Molly felt ashad and embarrassed, wanting to leave this place imdiately.
But Hazel wouldn’t let her go, and she didn’t dare to leave either.
She absolutely couldn’t afford to offend the Spencer Family now.
So even though Caron was showing her displeasure, she had to endure it.
But this was the first ti in her life she’d been humiliated like this.
She did not bla Caron Spencer; instead, she directed all her anger at Lawrence Winters.
If it weren’t for Lawrence Winters, would she be facing such humiliation all the ti?
After finishing his words, Caron waved his hand and said, "I’m very tired, you all leave; let have a few quiet days."
Then he advised Spring Spencer, "Although Sumr has issued an apology statent about the Capital City University matter, it’s still not enough. Go there yourself and make a donation, no less than a hundred million, as scholarships for impoverished students."
Spring Spencer quickly agreed, "I’ll take care of it right away."
Caron turned to look at Justus, who had been standing silently by his side, sighed, and said, "You’re married now, you should learn to manage this business operation."
"I’ve already suggested to the board that you beco the CEO of Spencer Group, and work well with your eldest sister to achieve sothing for , and show the board. Otherwise, they’re always saying you don’t asure up to your sisters."
Caron had three children. His eldest son, Justus Spencer, didn’t have as good grades as his two sisters in school, but he had a good temperant, high emotional intelligence, and a talent for managent.
After graduating from college, he joined Spencer Group, started from the grassroots, and steadily advanced. Now he is the CEO, which was only a matter of course.
However, Caron always felt that Justus was too conservative. It’s fine to maintain stability, but to lead Spencer Group to the next level might be challenging.
Among his three children, he admired his eldest daughter, Spring Spencer, the most; she’s capable, driven, and able to focus on getting things done.
But unfortunately, she’s just a daughter.
Spring and Sumr Spencer exchanged glances, feeling sowhat indignant.
It’s such an outdated thinking. Even now, their father insists only a male can be the successor.
Caron seed to have read their thoughts, and smiled as he continued, "Don’t worry, you’re all mbers of the Spencer Family. In the future, whoever achieves the most will be the Spencer Family’s heir. I’ve told the lawyers and the board the sa."
Hearing this, Sumr Spencer exclaid, "Dad, you’re so biased! My brother is the CEO, my sister is the CFO, and ? I’m only a small publicity director!"
"As a publicity director, you’ve already caused so much trouble. What if you were made CEO or CFO? You’d ruin our entire group!" Caron’s face darkened, "The donation to Capital’s impoverished student fund will be deducted from your trust fund."
"What?!" Sumr Spencer shouted in surprise, "That’s a lot of money, you said no less than a hundred million! Why should I be the one to pay?!"
"Because you’re the one who caused the trouble, why should I use everyone’s money to clean up your ss?" Caron gave her a heavy look, raising a finger as he warned, "What I can give you, I can also take back."
Sumr didn’t dare say another word, only turned around and glared fiercely at Molly Zimrman, deciding to find Molly’s father to get this money back.
This money should co from the Zimrman Family!
Molly Zimrman was too stunned to speak.
Her cousin’s trust fund could casually have a hundred million deducted, how much principal must there be inside?!
