Chapter 91: Chapter 91: Bloody Mary

The dress wrapped around Eve’s corpse, the vampires saw this and paused, they had no idea what was happening but they had a bad feeling about it.

Then she stood up, her skin was pale as snow and her eyes were pitch black without a spot of white like the abyss itself.

Her feet floated a few centitres above the ground and faint mist floated around her. The white dress looked like a ghost shroud that reached her ankles.

Before the vampires could react, ghosts appeared around her but instead of attacking the vampires they lunged at her.

Their bodies sunk into her dress and disappeared but the more ghosts she absorbed the higher her aura grew.

The two vampires imdiately knew if they let her continue, she would grow strong enough to threaten them.

They imdiately attacked, their bodies turned into blurs and their claws drew arcs through the air.

The image they had of her body being ripped to shreds did not co to be, instead they passed through her.

Both vampires froze in confusion, even real ghosts couldn’t pass through esper and their bodies had Esper.

Logically their claws should be able to harm her as they did the ghosts, let alone her who had an actual physical body.

They turned around only find that she was gone, then both felt the temperature around them drop.

They felt a cold breath on their neck and tried to jump back only to find the breath following them as if it was stuck to them.

Then she appeared like a ghost and placed her hands on their chests, their bodies turned cold.

They tried to move but their bodies refused, it was as if their brains and their bodies were disconnected.

" I have severed your connection to your souls, death for you will be a luxury." She whispered in a soft voice like an angel’s whisper.

Then she pulled back her hands and with them ca the souls of the two vampires, their bodies fell like puppets with cut strings.

Their souls floated in front of her, each with a terrified look, they tried to run only to find themselves being drawn back.

The four powerful ghosts appeared around her, they stretched out their hands and placed them on her open palms.

Energy gathered and ford a crystal sphere, the sphere was divided into four levels each representing the ghosts.

The two vampire souls were dragged into the fist sized sphere and disappeared, they reappeared on the first layer of guns and explosions.

Their bodies bound by chains and bullets rained on them followed by bombs, poison gas grenades and all types of war weapons.

They were healed then thrown into the second layer of torture weapons, their bodies cut up, burnt with acid, drowned and flailed.

The third layer was of water and extre ice and the fourth was of fire, the two souls went through all four layers then the cycle repeated.

The sphere disappeared from her hand and the four ghosts were sucked back into her dress.

She looked at herself and didn’t recognise what she had beco but she could feel an imnse amount of power inside her.

Yet she knew that power ca at a cost, she was slowly losing her mind and dark thoughts were consuming her telling her to devour souls.

She knew there was sothing to take care of before she completely lost her mind and floated towards her house.

There, she found her still unconscious brother and took him then flew off, she went to the police station and left him there.

On his pocket she left a letter and locket with a photo then she flew back to her house, as soon as she left, two ghosts appeared above her brother.

They watched her with sadness and care but didn’t follow, they flew inside the locket and stayed there.

Eve flew to her house and went to her room, she looked herself in the mirror but couldn’t recognise herself.

Her eyes were pitch black like two holes and two streams of blood tears went down her cheeks.

Her hair had grown much longer and turned pure white, her skin was as pale as snow and a dark aura surrounded her.

She touched the mirror and sank inside and disappeared, the house returned to silence, the barrier placed by the vampires disappeared.

Ti passed and morning ca, a neighbour who was jogging noticed the destruction to the house.

She stopped and called out but there was no answer, eventually she called the cops. Sanchez and Brown decided to check it out.

" Perhaps the boy is related to the call." Brown suggested and Sanchez thought the sa.

They arrived and saw the destruction to the house, " My god what could’ve done this and how did nobody hear anything?"

Brown asked, Sanchez didn’t answer but she had an idea, she sighed because she had a feeling Adrian was involved.

They found two corpses which belonged to the parents and two ashes resembling a human form.

Sanchez imdiately knew vampires were involved, this was what happened when a vampire is burnt by the sun.

" I need to make a call." She told her partner and excused herself.

Brown went inside and saw a family photo on the wall and sighed, that was because he saw the boy they found last night in that photo.

This was his family, but there was also a girl there, probably his sister but her corpse was nowhere to be found.

’ Wait, what if they took the girl, she could still be alive.’ Brown thought and imdiately went to action.

He inford Sanchez of his thoughts, she didn’t agree but she had no way to tell him without explaining why.

So she agreed and they started the search after confirming the identities of this family, the entire police force went to work.

Yet they heard another news, an old mansion has been flattened to the ground but what was strange was that, everything around it was frozen.

If this was a bomb, they would’ve been burnt, not frozen, this confused the cops and before they could investigate, another force took over.

Sanchez recognised this force and knew they no longer had any chance to investigate, not that she wanted to.

She knew exactly what or rather who caused this and she needed to have a conversation with him but she wasn’t the only one who wanted to talk to him.

Adrian sighed because Sanchez’s call reminded him what he had been forgetting, he was so worried about Annie that he forgot about Eve.

He didn’t care much for her but still, she was Annie’s friend and her death will cause Annie pain.

His eyes turned cold, now he no longer had the illusion of peace with the vampires, laying low be damned, he will kill every one of them.
