Chapter 90: Chapter 90: Eve

He left, outside he found Suzie with a large bag she found inside the mansion and was using to carry the bleeding hearts.

He took her and they flew west, this was the territory of another group made up of different Fayera who had ford an alliance to survive the stronger races like vampires and witches.

Annie’s house was also in this territory, they landed on top of a building a bit far from her house.

With their enhanced eyesight they could still see it, he saw Suki and Athi standing outside her house guarding it.

He used his ocular ability to see inside her house then imdiately closed his eyes. Suzie turned her head with embarrassnt.

She could see a budge on his pants, this was the first ti she had seen such a reaction from him.

It was not like the other female Werewolves have never flirted with him but none had been able to get a reaction.

She wondered what’s so special about that woman, what she didn’t know was that she was a bonded mate of his.

Adrian had forgotten to explain what bonded mates were and it was one of the things not included in the inherited knowledge of the Werewolves.

" Lets go." He took her and they flew back ho. ’ Am I forgetting sothing?’ he wondered.

------------------------

A while back

After the two vampires entered Eve’s house, she imdiately summoned her ghosts spirits.

The four strongest stood protectively around her family while she she tried to get them out while the rest attacked.

Unfortunately their power was lacking and the vampires ripped them apart, killing ghosts was not easy but esper can render them ineffective for so ti.

After taking out all the weaker ghosts, the vampires attacked her and her family, the gun ghosts was the first to attack.

Ghosts bullets rained on the vampires but it was as if they could see the future, their bodies turned into blurs.

They dodged the bullets and pounced on the ghosts, the torture weapons ghosts was next to move.

As a close combat ghost, it was faster than the gun ghost, it reached the two vampires in a blink of an eye.

Its blades lashed out to rip its enemy to shreds, unfortunately it was weaker and slower than them.

They evaded its attacks and just as they were about to attacked it, a wave of fire and a jet of water stopped them.

Eve took her family to the back door while the ghosts held the vampires back, her parents looked terrified.

Her brother couldn’t stop crying, opened the door and found their house surrounded by thick fog.

She took a deep breath because a heavy realisation had just hit her, they were not going to survive the night.

She took a knife and slit her own wrist, the sll of blood made the vampires almost lose control.

She has her father knock her brother out cold and hid him in the cabinet. Her parents imdiately understood too.

They hugged her and cried together then ran out the house into the thick fog, as Eve had expected.

The fog was not nearly fog, the vampires had set up a barrier around the house preventing them from leaving.

Nobody outside could hear or see what’s happening around the house, they were isolated and all alone.

" I’m sorry, mom, dad I’m so sorry." She cried, to be fair Eve had no idea why the vampires were here.

She didn’t know about their conflict with Adrian so she genuinely believed it was her fault.

While her parents knew about the supernatural world, unlike her, they were normal people.

So she was the most likely target because of her abilities, she was partially right, they were after her but not for her power.

Her parents hugged her with tears in their eyes, " It’s not fault baby." Her mother consoled her.

Their house got destroyed in front of their eyes, the four ghosts flew out of the house and surrounded her.

Their forms were fainter than before, a sign of them losing power, if they completely lose it they’ll disappear.

They’ll beco normal ghosts for so ti until their regenerate their power which would take a long ti, they might even get destroyed.

Eve could feel their desire to protect her and she smiled sadly, then her eyes turned cold and she faced the two vampires.

Their clothes showed that the fight was not entirely one sided, they had been wounded too.

Unfortunately their regenerative power was insane and those minor injuries had healed already.

She sent her ghosts at them, a jet of water powerful enough to pierce steel and a jet of fire hot enough to lt bone pierced through the air like twin spears.

The vampire didn’t dare take those attacks head on and dodged to the side, Eve could not follow their movents at all.

Fortunately she didn’t have to control the ghosts, they could fight on their own and her own power was irrelevant.

Bullets followed and so managed to hit the two vampires but the wounds were not sever.

The torture ghosts lunged at one of them with a chainsaw, the vampire had just dodged bullets.

It didn’t have the fine to react and the chainsaw cut off its hand, even with it high regeneration.

Healing a lost limb would take a long ti, especially since the fla ghost burnt the arm to ashes.

The vampire’s power was lowered but it was still stronger than the ghosts, even as a re plebeian.

Vampires were still higher ranked Fayera than other Fayera, the torture ghost swung its chainsaw and dozens of knives.

The vampire twisted at the last second, before the ghost can react, vampire claws ripped it in half.

The ghost dispersed, it had managed to save its life but at the cost of all of its power, it could no longer help in this fight.

The other three ghosts fought even harder but they still fell short, the water ghost was the second to fall.

Then the gun ghost and lastly the fire ghosts, they all looked at Eve with pity and sadness.

They had grown very fond and protective of her after she helped solve their grievances on earth.

After all of the ghosts had died, Eve stood defensively in front of her parents but her body couldn’t stop shaking.

She was after all still a teenage girl with no actual power of her own. Her father picked up a stick and stood in front of her and her mother.

He swung his stick at the vampire who broke it and grabbed him by the throat faster than he can react.

Before the two won could say anything, his blood was drained to the last drop and Eve’s mother followed.

Eve was the last to go and on her last breath, she was thinking about her little brother and praying sobody saves him.

As she took her last breath, a white silky dress suddenly appeared out of thin air like a ghost and floated towards her.
