Chapter 107: Chapter 107: Diego and Isabella

Diego walked into the abandoned warehouse excitedly. It has been a few months since he beca a werewolf.

During this ti, he and Isabella had been searching for a way to the black market of the supernatural world and finally they found a clue.

The person they were eting today was a guy called scarface, according to what they had gathered, entrance was not so easy.

One needed an invitation from a mber of the black market to enter but nobody would willingly give that.

So naturally those who had the tickets were willing to sell them. He and Isabella were the first to arrive.

Behind them stood nearly 20 n with machine guns, these were normal criminals who had been compelled by him.

They wouldn’t rember anything that would happen here today. After a few minutes he was starting to lose his patience.

The doors opened from the other side and a group of five appeared, even though they were outnumbered they looked confident.

The leading man had a scar on his left eye, behind him stood three of differing statues n and a woman.

Neither Diego nor Isabella were knowledgeable enough to tell their species but that did not matter.

He could tell that scarface was a level 2 but his aura felt even weaker than that of Sam and John.

In fact he had the feeling even he could take this guy and he was not wrong. Scarface stood 10 tres from him.

" Mr Diego I presu." Diego nodded. " I see you’ve brought an army to our friendly eting, I’m hurt."

Diego smiled, " Oh please I ant no offense but there are a lot of monsters out there, I was afraid I might not get here safe."

Scarface smiled, both parties seed to be wary of each other. " Did you bring the goods?" Diego asked.

The woman behind Scarface stood forward and opened a small black box. Inside were three black coins with a skull inscribed on them.

" Did you bring my money?" Scarface asked in return and Isabella stood took out a small red box.

Inside were 30 black elk coins, 10 for each of the three black coins. Diego knew a bit about the supernatural world currency.

He understood how much a single black elk coins was worth and knew how expensive these coins were.

However that was none of his business, he was rely a servant and here to carry out his orders.

Just as they were about to exchange the boxes, both he and Isabella felt sothing flying through the air and jumped back a dozen tres

They saw thin needles shooting where they were before. " Shoot." Diego ordered and guns blazed.

All five enemies moved, one of them was hit but the bullets and they pierced through his body.

He transford and it turned out he waa an an orc. Diego had heard about them, they were not powerful but they were too fat.

These bullets definitely would not be able to reach his vital organs so he wasn’t going to die.

Each of the five took their true forms, the woman beca a half human half spider, she was an arachne.

They were not particularly a strong race but like human Espara, they had the potential to reach much higher levels, unlike races like orcs or vampires who were highly limited by their bloodlines.

The others were different races too, one was a Naga, a half human half snake race with an extrely dangerous venom, they were a feared race, especially by Molen.

The other was a Pukwudgie, ’ No that isn’t right.’ Isabella imdiately dismissed that idea.

This man like Pukwudgie did have grey skin and porcupine like spikes on his back but he was tall.

He was nearly 5.6 feet tall, much taller than a Pukwudgie is supposed to be. Unlike Diego, she had actually studied.

She had borrowed books from Sam who took them from Maggie’s library with Adrian’s permission.

Diego didn’t know that, he thought she was just as ignorant as he was and she didn’t bother correcting him.

However even with her knowledge she couldn’t recognise this man’s species but he didn’t feel dangerous.

He was the one who had shot those needles, Scarface himself turned into a birdman.

He grew grey wings on his back, a beak and bird claws for feet. He was a mber of the Avian race.

Based on his features, she concluded he was an Aerogeon, amongst the lowest of the Avian race.

His race was believed to be the gods of the sky once and the ancestors of all birds but she wasn’t sure how truthful that was.

She looked at Diego, he looked excited, this would be their first real fight as werewolves, she too was curious on how powerful they actually were.

Bullets continued raining but they failed to kill any of them, these humans weren’t fast enough to aim at the fast moving Fayera.

Those like scarface and the orc didn’t even dodge, scarface placed his wings in front of him and blocked the bullets.

The Avian race had incredibly strong wings, before the humans could react, needles pierced through their bodies.

The porcupine guy had shot the needles on his back and killed them instantly. Diego faced Scarface.

" Mr Scarface, do you have a reasonable explanation for this?" He asked and Scarface just shrugged.

" I just think it’s a waste giving this to you, you already so kindly brought the money to , it would be rude not to take it."

Scarface expected the see fear or anger on their faces instead he saw them smiling. " Hey Isabella, the big guy won’t bla us for this right?"

" I don’t see why he would, I an it’s not our fault." She answered with a soft smile.

" So, which one should I take?" He asked but she could see he was itching for a fight and she shrugged.

" You can take all of them if you want, I can just sit back and watch." That made his grin even wider.

Isabella was almost certain they would win unless sothing unexpected happened because of these guys were weak.

To be more specific, they were even lower than plebian vampires in ranking and even the lowest werewolf was above a vampire baron.
