Chapter 106: Chapter 106: Waking Up

Lokna ran as fast as he could with a single leg which strangely still far surpassed the speed of any normal human.

He reached the outskirts of the city and ran straight for the forests with the no intention of slowing down.

However he knew with his injury, he wouldn’t be able to get far before the sun rises, fortunately they had co prepared.

Suddenly he heard voices and the crackling of fire and he couldn’t help but grin, he had overdrawn his blood esper in that fight had his wounds aren’t healing fast enough.

’ Humans and their love for camping, I can never understand seeking to sleep outside the safety and warmth of your own house.’

Even he as a vampire wouldn’t willing sleep in a forest where Gadra could show up at any mont.

Unless of course he has no other choice. He limped towards the campsite and saw six humans sitting around a fire.

Those humans noticed him and were startled, the won scread and the n picked up sticks and tried to act brave.

Then they noticed his condition and their sympathy kicked in, " Oh my god what happened to you, was it a bear."

The oldest woman asked with worry, Lokna didn’t respond and just grinned, that terrified them but it was too late.

He blurred towards them and sunk his teeth on the neck of first guy. The others scrambled to escape but how could he allow that.

He used his strings to bind two but missed the others. ’ I’m getting slower.’ he thought with frustration.

He killed all three in seconds then chased the other three, they were much slower then he was.

In this forest, they were nothing but helpless prey running from sothing they can never escape.

Lokna started enjoying the hunt a little but it ended too quickly. He dragged the bodies back the camp then started feeding.

After he was done he went sowhere else, the canopy of the trees was larger here and provided more shade. He took out a folded black sheet.

After placing it on the ground he poured so powder on it and the sheet imdiately transford into a camping tent.

This was naturally a magic artefact, he cut off tree branches from other trees and placed them over the tent for camouflage.

He went inside and closed the tent, this magic tent was designed specifically to block out sunlight.

-------------------------------------

Sowhere in the realm beyond the mist, ggie was concocting a potion when the sky turned dark.

Clouds covered the entire sky and blocked out the sunlight. A feminine shadow landed behind her.

" It is rude to interrupt a witch when she’s casting her spells did you not know?" She asked.

" He he, as if the appearance of another could ever distract you with you skills." The other party replied.

" What do you want?" ggie asked and the woman giggled.

" I need your help, I want you to craft a ring for ."

ggie imdiately understood which ring she was speaking of but decided to play dumb.

" What ring do you speak of and how do you know I could do it, you could’ve sought out witches stronger than ."

The woman giggled again, " Oh my, playing dumb I see, you know what ring I speak of and I know you had created the spell."

ggie sighed, " And what do I get in return?" She asked, through all of this she didn’t stop her concoction.

The woman smiled, " I could give you whatever you want as long as it’s within my power.

I could even provide protection for your little cub."

ggie didn’t respond for a few seconds then spoke. " I need you retrieve sothing for .

I can’t get it myself but you should be capable." Her answer gave the woman a terrible feeling.

" What do you want to retrieve and where?"

ggie grinned, " Grimoire, it’s in the chambers of the council of the nine covenants."

The woman froze, " Are you crazy? You expect

to steal sothing from within the hearts of the covenant?

That’s impossible, forget the powerful witches there, I can’t even break the simplest enchantnts, forget ones which will definitely be placed around the chambers."

ggie shrugged, " Request the aid of the fairies then, I’m sure they can break any enchantnt."

The woman shook her head, " You’re really crazy, the fairies always demand a heavy price, I can’t afford that."

The potion was done and ggie put it in a small bottle. " Use this in the bargaining, it might lower the price."

She gave the potion to the woman then disappeared. " Good luck." Her voice echoed in the room.

The woman sighed, " Damn that bitch, couldn’t she just ask for sothing more simple."

She also took to the sky and flew off.

----------------------------

Adrian woke up, he saw the werewolves waiting around him. The organisation was already cleaning up.

Using various abilities, they filled back the craters and grew back the forest at rapid speeds.

He was amazed by their efficiency, the director walked towards him. " You know, you’re causing a lot of trouble for

lately boy."

He sighed, " You and your guys should try to reign it down a little, at this rate it won’t be long before the outside world learns of the supernatural world."

Adrian shrugged, " I don’t get why you’ll do obsessed with keeping the supernatural world hidden anyways.

What could normal humans do if they found out?" He asked.

" Humans are strange creatures, they can’t accept those different from them let alone if they have superpowers.

While it’s true that out world controls the governnts around the world, exposure would cause a lot trouble."

None of them believed that was just it and the director could see that, unfortunately he was just a level 2 Espera.

He shrugged, " To be honest I also believe there’s another reason behind it but I don’t know what. We’ll be leaving now, don’t cause more destruction."

He turned around and left, Adrian addressed his people and they explained what had happened.

lissa looked ashad but Adrian didn’t care, he didn’t expect her to be able to kill Karon anyways.

What worried Adrian was the stupid dream he couldn’t understand.
