Chapter 882: Chapter 672: Will You Go to the Hotel with ?_2

The girl spoke extrely quickly, tearing off a piece of cornbread as she talked. In her muddled words, what was originally a simple sentence completely changed its flavor.

A seemingly normal inquiry, but to Roger’s ears, it sounded more like, “Where are you heading? To the nearest hotel with ?”

But after a mont, Roger regained his composure.

“No need, let’s go together.”

Panambi couldn’t quite understand why she felt such trust towards a man she had only t once. However, at this mont, her mind was entirely occupied by that peculiar map.

Soon, she cast aside the distracting thoughts.

“Follow .”

Panambi left the restaurant, brimming with excitent.

Though it was nightti, the streets were bustling and lively. Cars stread by endlessly, and local residents as well as foreign tourists could be seen everywhere along the roadside.

From the surrounding buildings, to the packaging of street food, and even the earrings worn by beautiful won passing by, traces of the unique cultural charm of this continent were evident.

South Arica spans vast territories, from the warm, erald Caribbean Coast to the ochre desolate plains of Patagonia, covering areas such as the misty Andes Mountain Region, the Amazon Rainforest, the driest desert on the planet—the Atacama, the Pampas Grassland Continent, and the glaciers stretching across the southern tip.

Roger had gathered so information about this continent, learning that its Transcendent beings were relatively insular and highly resistant to outsiders.

Although Roger possessed sufficient strength to easily outmatch ordinary Transcendents in the real world, his trip to the south wasn’t for trouble. Naturally, he wanted to minimize conflicts.

He intended to find Tabani.

The Transcendents here had powers that seed connected to the stars. So of them were passionate about studying the relationship between humans and animals.

The Shamans were skilled with herbs and capable of communing with nature, reminiscent of exotic Druids.

Additionally, according to information Roger had acquired, a small group of Transcendents on this continent conducted extraordinary research into life and death.

They appeared to wield terrifying power, to the point that even the most formidable of Transcendents avoided any contact with them.

The Western World was vast and imnse, primarily relying on bloodlines as the key mode of inheritance. However, it also accommodated other forms of transcendent power.

Not far from the museum was the National University. At this hour, dayti classes had already ended, and the administrative rooms were relatively deserted. Panambi led Roger to her office.

The walls were lined with bookshelves that stretched all the way up to the ceiling, densely packed with books. Considering her youth and intelligence, Panambi might have so background of note.

Roger didn’t ask much, watching as the girl pulled out one book after another, flipping through them while muttering to herself, “There are hundreds, maybe thousands of similar geographical features across South Arica.”

“But there’s sothing peculiar about one area on this map. The shape of those mountains looks like they resulted from so type of unique tectonic movent… If my mory serves correctly…”

“Not this one… no…”

“It’s the Chibcha Valley!”

“I should’ve realized earlier—that’s one of the cradles of Indigenous civilization in South Arica!”

The girl’s face lit up with excitent as she looked at Roger, her eyes sparkling with the thrill of unraveling a mystery.

But imdiately after, her brow furrowed. “Even if we’ve identified the approximate location, analyzing the terrain on the map suggests that the area has undergone a major transformation—rivers have changed course, the mountains have shifted, and everything has completely altered.”

She looked at him with so frustration. “This could take a considerable amount of ti to decode.”

Panambi sighed, glancing at Roger. “This will be a huge task.”

“It seems we’re not going to get any sleep tonight at the very least.”

“So, what needs to be done?” Roger suddenly asked.

“Two sets of hands are better than one.”

“You?”

Panambi looked at Roger with a doubtful expression before breaking into a smile. “This isn’t as simple as a few casual words. It requires a deep knowledge of geography and history. If you think you can just glance over things and understand, I’d consider it an insult to my professional career.”

Although her tone was calm, there was a spark of determination in Panambi’s eyes.

This was a girl with pride.

“Oh… is that so?”

An hour later…

Panambi stared dumbfounded at the books spread out in front of Roger. “You… you…”

Before Roger beca a Demon Hunter, his brain had been extensively altered through the effects of Potions. Combined with the enhancents from the Hunter’s Cabin, and the use of the Concentration Potion, his learning capabilities could multiply in re seconds.

But now?

At Roger’s current level of spiritual power, the Concentration Potion had long since lost its effectiveness. What he lacked was simply direction. Setting aside the Hunter’s Cabin’s nearly unnatural abilities, even with just his innate capabilities, ordinary knowledge would only require a bit of ti for him to master.

Panambi even forgot about the work she had in hand. Amid her astonishnt, a leather-bound book was placed in front of her.

Roger opened to a specific page, “Is it here?”

“Taking into account changes to Earth’s geomorphology, river course alterations, and natural environntal shifts, I think…”

It was only after a few monts that Panambi snapped back to reality.

She lowered her head to glance at the book she was holding, then lifted her eyes to Roger, repeating the motion several tis.

After a long while, she finally sighed and lowered her head in resignation.

“Alright, I take back what I said earlier. I thought I could consider myself a genius, but stacked up against you, the only thing separating from the roast pig on the table is the clothes I’m wearing.”

Panambi was undoubtedly a rare scholar, but she quickly ca to terms with the reality in front of her. Her eyes revealed so lingering questions, yet when she glanced at Roger, there was a spark of eagerness hidden within her gaze.
