Chapter 869: Chapter 666: Please Stay Away from , Thank You

As she spoke, Viola had already stepped forward, swinging her arm with a surge of imnse power erupting from her frail body.

The air compressed violently, smashing toward the figure like a cannonball.

Bang!

Half of the man’s body was effortlessly torn apart by the overwhelming force. There was no blood; his body was like a piece of shredded cloth, emitting a harsh ripping sound.

He was then flung back, crashing into a large tree not far away.

The second collision ravaged the man’s body even more brutally, yet he seed impervious to the pain, making no sound, his form resembling a mangled lump of flesh, almost indistinguishable from his original appearance.

Viola clearly hadn’t anticipated her casual attack to inflict such horrifying damage. Before she could advance to inspect, the man’s body ruptured again, disintegrating into irregular chunks before dissolving into the air.

“Spiritual Body?” Viola frowned deeply.

Amanda’s face flashed with a hint of doubt as she glanced at Roger surreptitiously, her voice transmitting softly.

“That man just now seed familiar; I feel like I’ve seen his information in the association… But that’s impossible. How could he appear here?”

“Damn it! You hit him too hard.”

Muska muttered discontentedly, surveying their surroundings, his expression growing increasingly grim.

“Can anyone tell where this place is?” He stepped forward, grabbing Marco by the neck. His grip tightened, subduing the hapless young man.

“Cough… Master Muska, I… I don’t know where we are either!”

“Please believe , everything I’ve said is true!”

“Pathetic clown!” Muska sneered harshly.

“Forget it, he might still be useful!”

Viola suddenly intervened.

“Shut up! I didn’t ask for your opinion!”

“I respect your status and strength, but that doesn’t give you the right to decide for everyone. I do what I want.”

Muska smirked coldly, “Besides, your power earlier seed a bit excessive. From the very beginning, you’ve been protecting this boy.”

“Heh-heh, what is he to you?”

“Your lover?”

“Or your son?”

With a hint of amusent flashing in his eyes, Muska’s gaze swept over the two. “Or perhaps both?”

The glow in his eyes was as provocative as his words, dripping with mockery.

“You better watch your tongue!”

Viola’s anger surged, her eyes radiating a dangerous light.

“Have him back!” Muska sneered as he tossed Marco away, but Viola responded with a casual wave of her hand.

Marco’s trajectory diverted mid-air, curving sharply before crashing through a row of trees nearby, then plumting deep into the forest.

“Tsk tsk, you’re truly ruthless.”

Muska shrugged, “Looks like our temporary team has broken apart. We’ll fend for ourselves now!”

He shot Manu a glance. “Let’s go!”

With that, they departed cautiously, their selected direction revealing a towering mountain in the distance, its summit adorned with an elusive structure.

Roger said nothing, rely squeezing Amanda’s hand gently as the two walked away side by side.

Though the group ford a loose alliance, there was no communication between them, let alone trust.

Rather than stay together mired in suspicion, separating was a better option.

The surroundings had no distinct landmarks, only the distant mountain standing out. Thus, despite choosing different paths, everyone would likely end up in the sa place.

Soon, the area was left with only Viola.

“Still alive?” Viola asked coldly.

From the distant woods, heavy panting accompanied by the sound of coughing blood erged.

“Lady Viola.”

Marco gasped desperately.

Viola did not correct his use of address but instead questioned icily, “Do you know where this place is?”

“I… I’m here for the first ti as well. Please believe …”

“Speak what you know. I don’t care for nonsense!” Viola interrupted Marco bluntly.

“Yes, ma’am. Let think.” Marco furrowed his brow in thought, “During those final tis, my father rarely ntioned anything about this place. Only occasionally, occasionally when he was muttering to himself, I’d catch bits of information.”

“He seed to ntion the Sanctuary.” Marco sounded uncertain.

“The Sanctuary? The Dragon’s Sanctuary?”

Viola’s face flickered with doubt, but quickly transford into excitent.

“Yes, it must be that place, the one in the legends that offers a second awakening for the Dragonborn, and then…”

Cutting herself off abruptly, Viola exhaled a mist from her hands, enveloping Marco. “Follow , and on the way, I want to hear everything you know about the Sanctuary!”

Marco was but a weakling with limited abilities, yet at that mont, Viola found herself profoundly grateful for her earlier decision.

anwhile, on another path, Muska and Manu—who had left first—advanced swiftly, unhindered by dangers in the forest. Before long, they covered considerable ground.

As they drew closer, the distant scenery grew clearer.

The mountain range stretched endlessly, resembling a giant dragon sprawled across the Earth, while the structure at its peak jutted upward like a dragon’s lone horn.

“This place…”

Muska’s eyes showed a trace of contemplation. “Feels strangely familiar.”

Just then, near a large rock not far ahead, an eerie silhouette suddenly appeared. Muska squinted and froze slightly at the sight.
