Chapter 80: Chapter 080 Start Your Performance

“How do I look?”

Thomas fiddled with his hair in front of the mirror while speaking to Roger.

“You’re like walking hormones right now.”

“Good eye.”

Thomas grinned, ever since he returned from Swamp Town, sothing inside of him seed to be fully activated.

He had developed a great interest in certain upright-walking female creatures.

...

To attend this party, Thomas had specially borrowed his dad’s car, and the location was not in the town center but a villa in the woods on the outskirts.

“Bob has a party here every sumr, but due to his father’s issues, he hasn’t been back to town in a while,” Thomas said while driving.

“Adults have been gossiping non-stop—looks like his family’s fishery is preparing to sell. Seems like they plan to leave this place for good.”

The journey wasn’t long, and along the way, Roger and the others encountered other young people going to the party.

By the ti they got to the villa, it was getting dark, a bonfire was lit at the entrance, and a large group of young people sat together.

Looking at the villa in front of him, then thinking about his own little house, Roger suddenly felt he had a long way to go in the future.

First, set a small goal for himself—get a detached villa.

“Hey, Roger!”

A voice full of surprise ca from a distance, and Kelly walked over in an off-shoulder long dress.

“Why are you just arriving? I can’t wait any longer.” She didn’t even glance at Thomas and pulled Roger’s arm, heading inside.

“Is this Bob’s villa?”

Roger asked casually.

Kelly nodded, “Yes, but he’s not here today. Soone else is hosting the party…”

Not dwelling on that topic, Kelly changed the subject, “But what does that have to do with us?”

“Tonight, we have to have a good talk,” she said.

“Follow .”

Pushing through the crowded room, Kelly led Roger to a room on the second floor.

“Bang!”

She shut the door behind them and kicked off her sandals.

“What are you standing there for?”

“Don’t tell you actually plan to play your instrunt for ?”

Kelly seed impatient.

Roger didn’t say a word, took off the instrunt case slung over his shoulder, and looked around the room, taking in every detail.

After a glance around, Roger’s gaze finally settled on Kelly.

For so reason, the indifference in the eyes of the boy in front of her made Kelly’s heart prickle.

She forced a smile.

“Is this moving too fast?”

“Maybe we should…”

Kelly casually picked up a half bottle of alcohol from the table.

“What do you plan to do next?”

“Get drunk with spiked drink and then have soone hidden in the closet take photos?”

“You… what are you talking about?”

Kelly stuttered nervously.

“Roger, have you misunderstood sothing?”

Roger did not reply, just stared at Kelly.

“Thud!”

Just then, the closet door behind Kelly was pushed open, and a young man with earrings jumped out.

“What’s going on?”

“Didn’t you guarantee to knock this kid out?”

Seeing the man, Roger’s expression darkened slightly. He had never dealt with the youngster before but had heard of him.

Half a year ago, the guy had drugged a male classmate and then…

The incident spread in a small circle afterward; the victim didn’t dare to speak out, and later on, this guy was expelled from school for other reasons.

“Who sent you here?”

Reality differing from expectation, Roger asked coldly.

“I… I…”

Kelly hadn’t expected to be exposed so soon, and she stood there helplessly, her eyes welling up with tears.

“I can’t say, he won’t let off…”

“What a killjoy!”

The young man cursed under his breath and went to open the door to leave.

“Did I say you could go?”

“Kid, you…” A trace of ferocity flashed across his face, but as he turned his head, a fist enlarged before his eyes.

Bang!

With Roger’s current strength, a single punch was enough to break the young man’s nasal bone, tears and mucus mixing together as he scread, crashing into the cabinet behind him.

Kelly let out a scream of terror.

Imdiately after, the door was forced open, and Nick’s tall figure appeared at the entrance. Seeing the cara hanging around his neck, Roger instantly understood sothing.

“What happened?”

Before he could finish speaking, a surge of force ca at him; the collar of his shirt tightened, and the world spun as Nick was lifted high, then slamd onto the ground with force!

Bang!

Hearing the noise coming from this side, the group of n and won gathered on the second floor all crowded over.

“Step aside!”

Roger closed the room door, picked up Nick’s fallen cara, and casually tossed it to Kay.

He walked to the cabinet and dragged out the blood-faced young man.

“Actors in place, you can continue.”

“Continue?” The young man looked bewildered.

Roger dragged the knocked-out Nick onto the bed, then gestured toward the cara in Kay’s hands.

“You do it, she records.”

“Any problems?”

Glancing at the unconscious Nick and Roger’s blood-stained fist, the young man hastily nodded. Whether it was an illusion or not, Roger always had the impression that the guy hid a flicker of excitent in his eyes.

“Record well, don’t miss a fra.”

Roger said casually as he walked over to Kay.

He had expected Kay to be resistant to this kind of thing, but contrary to belief, the girl who had just been terrified was now excitedly holding up the cara.

“What’s going on?”

“Do all these guys have a masochistic streak?”

Roger, unaware of what Nick had done to Kay before, naturally had no interest in watching on scene and pushed the door open to leave.

“What happened?”

As soon as he stepped out, he saw Thomas asking anxiously.

“Nothing much, Nick and a guy are fighting it out in there.”

Soon, the sounds inside could be heard seeping through the door gap.

The onlookers all looked curious, but before long, a scream of agony ca from the room.

“Damn it, Dylan, get the hell off !”

“Ah…”

“I’m going to kill you!”

“Crash!”

The room door swung open, and the man nad Dylan, his face covered in blood, ran out, with a stumbling Nick following behind him.

“Click click click!”

Everyone simultaneously pulled out their phones, snapping photos frantically.

Nick’s eyes blazed with fury, but facing the crowd’s scrutiny, he let out a yell and leaped through the window.

“Looking at the way he fell, that’s got to hurt.”

Thomas comnted indifferently.

Having dealt with all that, Roger had no interest in staying any longer. He picked up his music box and left through the door.

The little interlude did not affect the guests’ enthusiasm; the party atmosphere beca even more lively.

The woods had grown dim, and Roger walked alone on the forest path.

It beca quieter around him, until the cheers from the villa were barely audible, and only then did Roger slowly stop in his tracks.

He looked at the empty forest.

“I’m really curious, just how long do you plan to follow ?”

“Or rather, what do you intend to do?”

A figure slowly erged from the darkness.

“Bob.”

“It really is you!”
