Chapter 651: Chapter 558 Opposition_2 Chapter 651: Chapter 558 Opposition_2 Perhaps lingering in such an environnt for too long, even a person’s emotions could be suppressed.

“If I had a choice, I’d rather not have such scenery,” Michihiro Morita said with a bitter smile.

“Follow .”

Roger looked back and saw that the wooden door they had entered through was gone. He said nothing, following Michihiro Morita across the grass, over a small bridge, and then they arrived under the cherry blossom tree.

There was a square table with two round chairs beneath the tree.

Roger didn’t speak; he knew Michihiro Morita didn’t bring him here to enjoy the flowers or drink tea.

“I heard Yatagarasu Kensumi sent you out to represent him and appease so minor factions,”

Michihiro Morita inquired.

Roger nodded, sitting under the cherry blossom tree enveloped in its fragrance. He opened his hand, and two petals fell into his palm.

Everything before him was real.

“Do you plan to find an opportunity to leave?”

Michihiro Morita asked, “Be careful, the Yuuki Nao traveling with you is Yatagarasu Kensumi’s person. That woman’s Guardian Spirit is the Thin Ice Butterfly, an expert in Illusion Technique, plus her beauty…”

“Why would I leave?” Roger countered.

“Besides…” he looked around, “is it really appropriate to discuss such matters here?”

“Don’t worry, this place is safe,”

Michihiro Morita said.

“You don’t understand Sword Master Cold Crow, he is a powerful and extrely self-centered man. To tell you the truth, if it weren’t for Yukiko, 20 years ago, I might have truly been captivated by his charismatic personality. After all, if what we are about to do succeeds, it will indeed herald a brand-new era!”

“Back to what we were discussing, if you can seize the chance, you really should leave this place because from what I know, even though Yatagarasu Kensumi is powerful, now is not a good ti for you to join him. You will be caught up in a… vortex of strife.”

“A struggle?” Roger gave Michihiro Morita a probing look.

“Yatagarasu Kensumi is Sword Master Cold Crow’s son, his flesh and blood with a bloodline connection, but he is not the only son of the Sword Master.”

“Here, we don’t value blood ties like the Western World, but rather inheritance, the spiritual inheritance from a Guardian Spirit. Such bonds often exceed those of blood.”

“Even having the sa Guardian Spirit is akin to being blood relatives!”

“Sword Master Cold Crow’s adopted son, the Yatagarasu iryu, who also inherited the Three-legged Crow Guardian Spirit, is soone whose tactics, experience, and even strength outmatch Yatagarasu Kensumi by far.”

“Yatagarasu iryu is an orphan whom Sword Master Cold Crow picked up in the Desolate Castle. He grew up living with him and was by his side during his rise to power. That’s a Quasi Sword Master level Cultivator!”

“A Sword Pavilion only allows for the existence of one titled Sword Master, but Yatagarasu iryu’s combat prowess is terribly frightening, especially in the last 20 years when Sword Master Cold Crow has not taken action.”

“One could say he has been the very banner of the Sword Pavilion to the outside world all this ti!”

“So, you understand now?”

Roger nodded pensively.

It wasn’t difficult to understand. Although Yatagarasu iryu had no blood relationship with Sword Master Cold Crow in na, he had grown up with him and progressed under his ntorship.

Perhaps he had a large part to play in the construction of the entire Sword Pavilion, and having cultivated the sa Guardian Spirit, he was even more like Sword Master Cold Crow’s son—perhaps… an heir!

Perhaps, before Yatagarasu Kensumi was born, everyone, including Yatagarasu iryu, had already regarded the Sword Pavilion as his property to claim.

But now…

Both set on the sa scale, it was difficult to say who was lighter, who was weightier.

Even in Sword Master Cold Crow’s heart, Yatagarasu iryu might weigh a bit more.

With these thoughts, Roger couldn’t help but glance at Michihiro Morita.

Michihiro Morita had called him here alone to inform him of these matters, surely out of so concern, but more importantly…

Yukiko.

Back then, to save their lives, Roger and Yukiko had beco husband and wife in na, but the situation had changed sowhat. Roger found himself placed beside Yatagarasu Kensumi, unwittingly stepping into the vortex.

Following this line of thought, Roger, Yukiko, and even Michihiro Morita, to so extent, had all been marked by Yatagarasu Kensumi.

At this ti, it naturally would attract so unnecessary trouble.

“I think you may have noticed so issues, there are very few capable people under Yatagarasu Kensumi’s command, besides Yuuki Nao, there aren’t any particularly strong characters,”

“This is partly because Yatagarasu Kensumi is still young, and he couldn’t care less about these matters, but more importantly, it’s because of the Yatagarasu iryu.”

“Perhaps he did sothing, or perhaps he did nothing, who knows?” Michihiro Morita sighed.

“Yukiko is everything to , I don’t want her to face even the slightest threat.”

“I understand,” Roger nodded, but didn’t give a definitive answer.

Michihiro Morita’s gaze flickered, yet he said no more, and after a pause, he changed the subject, “I’ve sorted out an idea these past few days, and if there’s a chance on this trip, it would be best to bring back a piece of Everworld Stone.”

“I might be able to make so new modifications to your weapon.”

“Everworld Stone?”

“A stone highly infected with the powers of Everworld, jet-black throughout, and in its presence, plants and animals alike undergo various degrees of mutation.”

“Evil and cold, upon finding that thing, it must be sealed away imdiately,” Morita handed Roger a Talisman as he spoke.

“Be careful when you return, and it’s best not to let anyone know I’m helping You forge a sword,”

Michihiro Morita cautioned.

“Alright,” Roger stood up.

He had already planned to leave.

Michihiro Morita didn’t say anything else and saw Roger off the high tower.

On his way back, he happened to encounter a woman in green robes, who was sent by Yuuki Nao to deliver a set of clothes and an identification plaque to Roger.

In addition, there was a black crow mask, which Roger observed specifically, noticing the mask’s pupils were pitch black.

Nightti.

Roger was alone in his room, which was unlit, his figure hidden in the dark.

The moonlight shifted, casting a sliver of light into the room, and then Roger’s shadow twisted, and a familiar voice resonated in his heart.

“My master, look how beautiful the moonlight is…”

“I’d love to dance for you under the moonlight.”

“Enough, tell what you’ve found,”

Roger interrupted Uma irritably.

His shadow on the ground twisted, and through the silhouettes on the ground, Roger could almost guess what Uma was implying.

But soon, Uma replied: “They’re all fragnted pieces of information; the most important thing is, even if I influenced a few low-tier guys through the shadows, following the stairs upwards to the mountaintop…”

“Everything is normal.”

“Normal?”

“Didn’t you try to get close to the house on the top of the mountain?”

Roger asked.

The shadow flickered on the ground, “Not yet, the identities of those I can control are too low; reaching the mountaintop is already the limit.”

“Moreover…”

“There’s sothing on the mountaintop that makes uneasy.”

Uma said.

“It could be deadly.”

“Perhaps, the people there, or the unknown there could kill !”

“Erase in the truest sense!”

This was the first ti Roger sensed a hint of fear in Uma’s tone.

“Is there another Shadow World there?”

Roger asked; he had been in close contact with Sword Master Cold Crow before, had briefly used Shadow’s Touch, and noticed so irregularities.

If there really was another Shadow World there, from all signs, that world might be even more vast and complete than the one Lilith possessed!

If he could absorb it!

A thrill went through Roger, wondering if Hunter’s Cabin, which had reached level ten, could still be upgraded further?
