Chapter 551: Chapter 508: I’m Talking to You, Behave Yourself! (Two in One) _2 Chapter 551: Chapter 508: I’m Talking to You, Behave Yourself! (Two in One) _2 “I can give you a chance to choose your grave.”

Roger’s gaze drifts to where the sea ets the sky, “I know a place with beautiful scenery, to be honest, having you die there would be a waste.”

“Haha.”

Green let out a wry laugh.

“Take there.”

Roger said no more, leaped onto a boat, started it, and headed towards a distant island.

Several months ago, he arrived there on a night ravaged by a storm, and that’s where his Transcendent journey began.

Isolated and off the regular shipping routes.

This was the best battlefield Roger could choose other than the Cursed Land.

“I’ve barely left Mist City in the past few decades.” Green looked at the island, which was faintly visible in the distance, and suddenly smiled.

“Guess why I’m willing to accompany you to such a distant place?”

A thought crossed Roger’s mind, considering a possibility.

“Now that you’ve t , you’re still going to trouble a normal person?”

“It’s the most ti-efficient thod; even a pig struggles when being killed.” Green’s eyes were like soaked in ice water, emitting a cold, dim light.

“Why not do it if it’s easier?”

While speaking, his body underwent a dramatic transformation.

His skin took on the luster of tal, his physique beca larger, the tailored casual clothes he wore were torn off, and from his shoulder blades extended a pair of wings.

And that unique longsword made of white bone.

“I don’t want to get splattered with blood when you die.”

Green shook his head.

“Drinking blood is a crude habit; be elegant, not barbaric.”

Flapping the wings behind him, Green flew up into the air.

“That Adeline is just an ordinary woman, she’s not even your mother, and there’s no such relationship between you. I really don’t understand your actions.”

“But let tell you, Mr. Roger, by the ti we set off to this island, that Adeline should have been caught by my Blood Descendants.”

“You see, you either choose to tell Anna’s location, and then you can avoid seeing a dried-up corpse drained of blood after returning.”

“Or…”

Green flicked his sharp nails.

“No, neither is necessary.”

Roger’s figure faded into the shadows on the deck, “I choose the third option.”

“How about dying at Anna’s feet?”

No sooner had he spoken, than Roger’s silhouette disappeared instantly; in a mont, Green’s face turned exceedingly ugly.

At the sa ti, he felt a thump in his heart. Green knew that the Blood Descendant who had a special connection with him was dead.

Boom!

Green’s sword split the deck, but the entire boat was empty; there was no sign of Roger.

“Instantaneous movent?”

“Impossible! Such spells simply aren’t… ”

Green suddenly turned his head, his gaze crossing the sea, only to see a figure erging on the island.

Roger and Anna…

“Give a reason I must go there?”

Green beat his wings.

“Then I shall indulge you!”

As his figure swept across the sky and arrived above the island, he saw nothing but a charred, broken lighthouse.

The island was small in size. With Green’s abilities, he quickly surveyed it all; aside from the lighthouse, there was only a cabin in a nearby forest, and beyond that, he detected no subtle spell fluctuations.

“The woman in the town isn’t Adeline?”

Green asked.

“That’s not what you should be focusing on right now.”

Roger squeezed Anna’s palm as a sign for her to relax a bit, and, with Sword of Frost in hand, watched Green floating in mid-air.

“I think you should have checked thoroughly, there are no ambushes here, just us.”

“It’s ti to end this.”

“Right here.”

Doubt filled Green’s eyes, but soon he descended.

“To be honest, I really didn’t sense a bit of Lilith in her.”

Green shook his head, “But I can’t take the risk.”

“My daughter, Anna, died 100 years ago.”

“So you cannot live.”

Green’s gaze was calm, while Roger took a step forward.

“I’ve done so much just to fight you fairly. Stop using those despicable tricks, just the two of us, and you.”

“Co on!”

Roger’s Pale Blood surged within him, activating the special ability he had obtained from Anna at the beginning of the fight.

The Sword of Frost traced a strange arc as he activated the recently acquired Sword Seal.

“Good!”

Green also let out a low shout. His figure did not move, the Sword of Destiny raised; almost at the instant he swung his arm, Roger reacted.

But against a weapon like the Sword of Destiny, normal evasions were utterly aningless; ‘click,’ the next second Roger was struck by the Sword of Destiny.

However, at that ti, the defensive power of the Quinn Sword Seal had significantly increased, and the attack from the Sword of Destiny rely caused the defensive light mbrane to oscillate but failed to break through.

Soon, Roger launched his counterattacking ability, and Green’s attacks rebounded back along the transmission trajectory of the Sword of Destiny.

Although it wasn’t an unreserved rebound, it still took the unprepared Green by surprise.

“What ability is this?”

Three bursts of light exploded from the Sword of Destiny; Roger had seen Green use this kind of attack before. It was an attack where three blows of equal strength were layered together after being cut out through a special thod.

This was a genuine triple attack. Facing such an attack, the current Sword Seal indeed could not withstand it, and all Roger could do now was to strike first.

“I don’t believe you can maintain this level of burst at all tis!”

Just when Roger was preparing to take the initiative, a crack appeared in mid-air, and a palm-sized mirror covered with cracks abruptly appeared behind Roger.

The white light reflected from the mirror shone on Roger, and instantly, an invisible cage appeared. At the sa ti, Green’s gaze shifted toward Anna, who stood at a distance.

He wore a mocking smile, “Mr. Roger, I think you’ve got one thing wrong. She’s my target; as for you, you’re nothing!”

Imprisoned by the sudden appearance of the Magic Mirror, even if Roger could break free from the confinent in a split second, it was already too late to launch an attack.

Faced with the predicant, the imprisoned Roger sighed helplessly.

“Why can’t you just be honest?”

“Is it that hard to have a fair fight with ?”

“I gave you a chance…”

Before Green could bring down the Sword of Destiny, an extrely pale and withered face eerily appeared before his eyes.

Facing this face, panic appeared on Green’s face for the first ti. He forgot Anna in the distance and directly swung his weapon.

The hunched figure did nothing but gaze at Green with eyes deep like the Abyss, and even so, Green, under his gaze, felt his limbs weaken and his strength plumt!

Clang!

The Sword of Destiny struck the aged face and produced a sound of clashing tal; then, he watched as the man raised a hand like dried wood, followed by a sky-obscuring darkness.

Green, powerful and previously invincible, was slapped to the ground without any resistance. He clutched the Sword of Destiny desperately, but before he could rise, a trendous force hit him, and the sound of his bones shattering filled the air.

“Ah!”

Green couldn’t help but let out a scream as he was punched and sent flying over twenty ters, hitting a weak spot in the lighthouse.

Boom!

The burning flas combined with months of wind and rain had already severely weakened the lighthouse, which could no longer withstand such an impact.

Bricks and stones rained down noisily, pumling Green beneath them.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

One punch after another, under Roger’s control, the expressionless Elder of Shadows smashed through the covering bricks and dragged Green out like a dead dog.

“This is an illusion, this is an illusion!”

“He’s already dead!” Green yelled hoarsely.

“I told you, I gave you a chance,” Roger said, spreading his palms and looking utterly innocent.

“Do you know? To not use such a trump card and fight you personally instead,” Roger clutched his chest.

“It was a fierce inner struggle to make this decision, but sadly…”

Green, bloody and battered, was hung midair by the Elder of Shadows like a chick, “If I had fought you fairly, you wouldn’t have…”

“No, you’re overthinking it.” Roger shook his head, “At most I would have ward up with you; the final battle would still have been handed over to him.”

He revealed a smile.

“Nothing personal, it’s just that I like to see you unable to fight back.”

“Also, you have to die at Anna’s hands.”

“That’s what you owe them!”
