Chapter 444: Chapter 444 The Sky Is Dark Chapter 444: Chapter 444 The Sky Is Dark Among the four Heritage Knights besieging him, Lanmaroc had the strongest overall combat power, and besides that, Bos possessed the most solid defense.

The remaining two Heritage Knights were average in strength, and they beca the first targets of Roger’s offensive breakthrough.

The energy within his body had accumulated to its limit; he had to release it. When everyone else was distracted for a mont, Roger ca face to face with Kay.

“Heavy!”

Kay was a Heritage Knight known for his speed and skill. Facing such an agile opponent, Roger didn’t plan on giving him a chance to make a move.

So, as soon as they crossed swords, he used all his strength.

“Axis!”

The Array in his mind was spinning, and at that mont, under the erosion of Dark Energy, his already restless ntal Power surged out; the Axis Dharma Seal struck like a heavy hamr, directly targeting the depths of Kay’s brain!

Being locked onto by Roger’s presence, and combined with the Intimidation of the Axis Dharma Seal, Kay was almost imdiately subdued by Roger.

As the attack was about to hit, a burst of light exploded from Kay, and sothing seed to shatter instantly on his body, with a dim light flashing in front of Roger’s attack path.

At the sa ti, Kay recovered from the ntal Intimidation, and by then, he had no ti left to evade and could only et Roger’s heavy blow head-on.

Clang!

The two weapons collided, and the delicate rapier simply could not withstand the onslaught of the Cursed Sword, sending Kay staggering backward, half of his lower leg sinking into the ground.

“Pfft!”

Even with an ergency defense deployed, the force transmitted from Roger’s body was far beyond Kay’s tolerance, blood seeping from the corner of his mouth.

“Help, quickly…”

The other three had already snapped back to reality and rushed towards Roger at top speed.

Roger, however, didn’t care about the attacks from behind. His black cloak billowed in the wind, instantly enveloping everyone within it.

In the mont of alternating light and darkness, endless power surged through Roger’s body; he swung his sword, struck, and swung again.

An additional strike!

Two consecutive Heavy blows, and the overwhelming strength crushed Kay’s last defense, shattering the rapier in his hand. He could only watch as the sword wreathed in black smoke—the Cursed Sword—cleaved through his shoulder blade!

“Ah…”

Managing only to scream in agony, half of Kay’s body was severed by the Cursed Sword, and in the haste, he couldn’t unleash all his fighting power and was grievously wounded by Roger in a single encounter!

At that mont, the other three, having just adjusted to the surrounding environnt, heard Kay’s screams not far away.

They dove forward only to witness Roger punching into the open wound on Kay, and a strange power flowed through the injury into the body.

“Alder!”

Boom, boom, boom!

A series of explosions resounded, and even the most formidable knight’s inner structure was incredibly fragile. The screaming abruptly stopped, and a bundle of light flew out from Kay’s corpse.

But before the light could escape Roger’s attack radius, the Aden Dharma Seal fully unleashed, slowing down the fleeing orb of light.

The next second, the Cursed Sword lunged out, and the intense Dark Energy enveloped, shredding the Inheritance Core in midair!

Against such an enemy, Roger didn’t want to give him a second chance to strike back.

“You actually destroyed his Inheritance Core?!”

Lanmaroc roared in anger, and the monster beneath him also sensed its master’s rage, their energies peaking and converging together.

Imdiately after, an energy linked Roger and Lanmaroc together.

“Judgent!”

Simultaneously, Percival and Bos encircled Roger from the other two directions, all three launching their attacks at once!

“Heh heh!”

Roger let out a strange laugh from his throat, experiencing an excitent he hadn’t felt in a long ti amidst such a critical mont.

Black smoke enveloped his body, and Roger chose Percival, who was slightly weaker in strength.

[Sword Dance]

With every swing of his sword, a dense Dark Energy shot out, and before the three could get close, a powerful dark energy, with Roger at the center, blood like a flower.

Each petal was a part of the raging sword storm.

Clang clang clang!

The attacks from three directions hit him, tearing open a slit in the blade of Dark Energy that enveloped him, causing the energy around his body to dissipate.

Having taken Lanmaroc’s attack head-on, the defense ford by the Quinn Dharma Seal also shattered, but the mont the defense burst, the automatic rebounding shockwave pushed Lanmaroc back, giving Roger the chance to counterattack.

His blood and qi surged within him, but it was as if he felt nothing at all. He didn’t even need to catch his breath; the energy on the Cursed Sword drained Roger’s every bit of strength.

He stepped forward, a ferocious wolf’s head flashed on the Cursed Sword, and with a piercing howl, Dark Energy engulfed the retreating Percival.

Lanmaroc was sent flying, and Bos attacked Roger frantically, but even though his defensive power was strong, his threat in battle was sowhat less than Lanmaroc’s.

As the wolf’s howl faded and the black energy receded, what Bos and Lanmaroc saw was Roger, his body wrapped in black smoke, sneering as he crushed Percival’s Inheritance Core!

Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth, and his body had sustained serious injuries, but as he breathed, Dark Energy flowed from the Cursed Sword into his body, healing his wounds at an incredibly fast rate.

Roger stretched out two fingers.

“Which one of you two wants to go first?”

Seeing this man, who resembled a demon, Lanmaroc felt his hairs stand on end. It had been many years since they had encountered such a powerful enemy.

Even his mount, seeming to sense the terrifying aura emanating from Roger, couldn’t help but step back slightly.

A portion of Dark Energy invaded his brain, and at this mont, Roger seed to have forgotten his original purpose, overwheld with a desire to kill, wanting to slaughter everyone he laid his eyes on!

Just as the battle on Roger’s side was reaching a fever pitch, the battle between Gawain of the Radiant Knights and Lancelot had also been decided elsewhere.

“Huff…”

Lancelot raised his notched greatsword, his Scale Armor also riddled with scars, his ticulous silver hair disheveled, pride still evident in his eyes, but there was a sense of forced endurance juxtaposed with his current appearance.

In contrast, Gawain.

Cultured and gentle, a soft glow encased his entire body, his breath was disordered, his left shield battered beyond recognition, and his right sword-hand trembled slightly.

From the situation at face value, he seed capable of overpowering Lancelot, but his victory was by no ans easy.

“You are still the stronger one.”

Lancelot expelled the stale air from his chest and, lifting his head, the proud First Knight regained his confidence.

Now, as the sun in the sky began to tilt westward, the ti was still noon. Gawain’s strength had slightly receded, but at least for the next hour or two, he remained at his peak.

“You are still the stronger one,” Gawain admitted with a trace of admiration on his face.

The Radiant Knight under the noonday sun was much stronger than his normal state; he had won but felt sowhat undeserving of his victory.

Lancelot didn’t say much else. He stood tall, with a touch of desolation flickering in his gaze.

“I’m sorry, Gawain, I can’t let you leave here alive.”

“I admit that at this mont, you are stronger than .”

“But I still have to kill you!”

As he finished speaking, Gerant, standing in the distance, suddenly spread his arms. Since the beginning of the battle, it seed he had been preparing for sothing.

A black light enveloped the two n.

The sunshine disappeared, darkness descended!
