Chapter 443: Chapter 443 Complete (6) Chapter 443: Chapter 443 Complete (6) “Pfft!”
The blade pierced the heart.
At the brink of life and death, Abraham made his final struggle.
[Blood Feast]
Roger activated the strongest ability built into the Cursed Sword without hesitation; he even worried that the dark energy enveloping the blade wouldn’t be enough to kill Abraham.
The clothes they wore wrapped around them like living things, and in an instant, a miniaturized Dark Curtain enveloped the heads of the two n.
Abraham’s body burst open violently; at this point, he was no longer considering the consequences of his actions. If he couldn’t dodge this attack, there would be no future for him.
His speed was fast enough, and his determination strong enough, but he still underestimated the greed of the Cursed Sword.
The dark energy flowing on the blade shot out like tendrils.
The blade trembled, and Roger, as the wielder of this weapon, could even feel certain emotions transmitted from the Cursed Sword.
Joy.
Like a gluttonous child.
“What is this thing?”
“Who the hell are you?”
Abraham let out a scream of agony, as, amplified by the Cursed Sword, Roger’s strength had grown to an unimaginable extent.
Without any fancy techniques, the Longsword danced in his hand; he caught up with Abraham’s retreating form and countless streaks of light flashed through the air.
[Starry Sky]
Unlike the grandeur of Wild Bite and the use of energy, this move was all about speed, ultimate precision, and sharpness!
Simultaneously, Roger’s left hand reached out, with the Aden Dharma Seal covering his palm, shattering the green Remnant Soul that enveloped the flas, and then grasping the throbbing Pale Blood in his hand!
“It’s mine now!”
Just as Abraham’s body was coming together again, it was pierced once more by the Cursed Sword; this ti, he had no energy left to escape the sword’s devouring.
“Haha!”
“Suck it, suck up all my Essence Blood and soul!”
Abraham’s head began to wither; he stared at Roger’s ferocious face, altered by the activation of Blood Feast.
His pitch-black pupils reflected Abraham’s final struggle before death.
“You know where your body cos from. Now that you have absorbed all my essence and inherited the Pale Blood I’ve condensed!”
A deranged smile appeared on Abraham’s face.
“I’m not dead; I’m just changing the way I exist.”
He reached out with his withered fingers, but before he could touch Roger, they turned to ash and disintegrated.
“I am you, and you are .”
“I will live in every fiber of your muscle, every inch of your bone, forever!”
As the spark faded from his eyes, Abraham turned to ash, scattering with the motion of Roger withdrawing his sword.
Having killed Abraham, so peculiar substance from the Cursed Sword transferred into Roger’s body. Thinking of Abraham’s last words, Roger instinctively wanted to resist.
But before his brain could issue a command, his body reacted spontaneously, greedily incorporating the special substance extracted from Abraham into itself.
It was as if it was making up for so imperfection.
The feeling that ca from deep within the body even affected Roger, who was under the state of Blood Feast.
He needed it too much.
Like a fish can’t live without water.
Roger even had an absurd illusion in his heart—if he hadn’t killed Abraham, if he hadn’t absorbed those special things inside him, under normal circumstances, Roger could probably never break through the Fourth Tier’s limit.
Even with the help of the Hunter’s Cabin, taking such a step would an facing greater risks in the future.
Physical collapse, soul conflict…
But at this very mont, as the unsettling sensation completely vanished, Roger instantly beca aware of the difference within himself.
His strength had not increased, nor had his spiritual power grown.
Yet Roger knew he had beco whole.
At the very least, for a considerable ti to co, the conflict between body and soul would no longer exist.
He must find a way to resolve this hidden danger. With his current knowledge, there was clearly no better solution. He could only hope that the subsequent upgrades of the Hunter’s Cabin might provide so help.
Clenching the Cursed Sword in his hand, the darkness shrouding overhead dissipated, the cloak once again gathered on his body, morphing into a pitch-black cape.
The light around him returned to normal, and Roger found himself surrounded.
The monster beneath Lanmaroc roared, its crimson eyes glaring at Roger.
“It seems you really do have an extraordinary background; we’ve caught a big fish!”
The few also sensed the abnormality and might of Roger at this mont, but with the confidence of no less than four Heritage Knights, they believed they could face any challenge.
Even if the opponent were a Radiant Knight or Lancelot!
“Heh…”
A beast-like panting emanated from Roger’s throat, with tendrils of black smoke curling from his mouth and nose, as dark energy had perated every corner of his body.
Roger’s body had also been reinforced to the limit, the power with nowhere to vent surged towards his brain, striking against the last defensive line ford by the Dharma Seal.
“Couldn’t you have co a bit later?”
Roger muttered softly.
“Wait for Sir Lancelot to deal with Gawain over there, then we’ll take care of this pest. Without competition and with the rits in our hands,”
“I think Sir Lancelot will certainly be able to secure the position of captain ahead of schedule. According to the agreent, although we can’t leave the Knights, we can have a certain sense of freedom.”
Bos’s fists collided with a clang reminiscent of tal on tal, he seed even eager to try, “Let’s do it, finish him and it’s all over!”
Not just Bos, but Lanmaroc, Percival, and the others showed a glint of anticipation on their faces.
“Gawain?”
Hearing this na, Roger, tornted by his mind, regained so composure. He truly hadn’t expected the man in the Foreign Spirit Assembly known as the Paladin would turn out to be the Radiant Knight Gawain.
A true knight.
But on second thought, it also made sense. A na wasn’t just a ans of address but an identity as well.
Dickinson’s admonition echoed in his ears. At this mont, Roger gained a new understanding of the other mbers of the Foreign Spirit Assembly.
These individuals, whose origins and identities were unknown, may only have their nicknas, spoken during self-introduction, as the sole proof of their existence.
“But how did Gawain infiltrate the Foreign Spirit Assembly?”
Another thought crossed his mind, but it was fleeting as Roger cast it aside. His spirit was teetering on the brink of collapse under the erosion of the dark energy.
He needed to vent.
Needed to explode!
“Haha!”
Roger chuckled coldly, slightly sidestepping. His pitch-black pupils swept over Bos as he spoke, “Noble Round Table Knights have turned on one another.”
“Did you lose your minds during the Inheritance Ceremony, or are you aware yet unwilling to contemplate the dreadful outco?”
“Gawain died, after becoming the so-called captain.”
“What do you an to Lancelot then?”
No sooner had Roger finished speaking than everyone’s faces drastically changed.
Perhaps, as Roger said, they weren’t unaware; they were subconsciously trying to avoid the question.
Because the truth was often too cruel.
In the mont of the others’ distraction, Roger launched into a frenzied counterattack.
Today was destined to see the legacy of knights co to an end here.
And not just one!
