Chapter 265: Chapter 265: Gestation Chapter 265: Chapter 265: Gestation Cassandra’s body withered away at a visibly rapid pace, likewise was the change occurring in Abraham.

All essence from both bodies rged together, yet Cassandra’s face bore nothing but dead silence and despair, while Abraham radiated the contentnt of a victor.

Using a Witch’s Womb at Full Moon Peak as a breeding ground, Black Witchcraft as a catalyst, coupled with a drop of Pale Blood condensed by Abraham.

Abraham’s forr self was a powerful Blood Hunter, and like Magicians, they possessed potent blood within their bodies, their path to advancent being the developnt of their blood.

The difference lay in the specific applications; Magicians tended more towards excavating their potential to amplify the power within their bloodlines.

Blood Hunters, on the other hand, were more inclined to use their bloodlines to transform themselves.

Magicians underwent ntal divergence, whereas Blood Hunters embraced physical mutations—both were unearthing the potential of their bloodlines, but the end results presented two completely opposite paths.

Magicians retained most human physical characteristics, but their psyches grew increasingly non-human.

Blood Hunters, frantically reshaping their bodies, beca non-human in form, but strived to preserve human rationality and emotions.

No one knew which path was the correct one.

The Pale Blood condensed by Abraham was even more advanced than Pure Blood, reaching this level ant nearing the origin of his bloodline.

If this step were complete, he would completely shed his human body to beco one of the legendary species.

Strong and long-lived.

“Mr. Sean won’t let you get away with this.”

Before her spirit was completely dragged into darkness, Cassandra erupted with seething hatred.

“Heh.”

Abraham sneered, “Your expression now greatly resembles those weaklings I once butchered.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Cassandra’s expression beca dull, her body shriveled, but her abdon swelled rapidly.

Crack, crack, crack!

A sound like splitting dry wood ca from Abraham’s body, which shattered into more than a dozen pieces in an instant.

After falling to the ground, they turned into a puddle of pus.

Leaving only a damaged skull behind.

Dickinson held Abraham’s skull in both hands.

“My master…”

“Rip open her chest and stuff my skull inside,” Abraham’s voice was extrely weak as he spoke intermittently.

“I need to absorb more Otherworldly Souls. Where’s that Demon Hunter you spoke of earlier?”

“Bring him to , quickly!”

“Don’t worry, my master,” Dickinson lowered his head.

“Be careful, if I die, you won’t survive either.”

A shade of gloom flashed across Dickinson’s eyes, but he swiftly returned to normal, “Great master, Dickinson is willing to serve you eternally.”

“Rember your promise…”

Abraham’s voice grew fainter until it was ultimately silent.

…….

Whoosh!

Roger opened his eyes and spit out the sand in his mouth.

Looking around, he found himself lying on a beach, with Henrik, belly protruding, lying not far away.

“This guy couldn’t have drowned, could he?”

As the sunlight sparkled on the sea, Roger even doubted he had hallucinated everything prior.

But clenching his fists, the notification on the signboard inford Roger that he, incredulously, had actually raised his Extre Force within to 10.

According to Henrik’s words, this level was nearly the limit that an Elite Hunter could achieve.

Even in modern tis, once ordinary Elite Hunters enhanced their Extre Force beyond 5 points, they would begin preparing to enter the next phase.

Old Hunter.

That was the peak that ordinary Demonic Hunters could attain.

Beyond that, only by awakening a special bloodline to beco a Blood Hunter, could one continue to increase.

Bloodlines were like an uncrossable gulf within the Transcendent World.

On a strange beach, Roger administered first aid to Henrik, removing sand from his mouth and pressing the sea water out of his stomach.

After much effort, he finally stabilized Henrik, but even though his breathing was even, his eyes remained tightly shut, showing no signs of awakening.

Having no other choice, Roger hoisted Henrik onto his shoulder and began to walk along the beach toward the distance.

Gradually, the scenery in the distance began to look familiar. Roger saw the familiar village and subconsciously gripped the Steel Sword on his back.

But just then, a shadow darted out from behind a large rock.

“Is that you?”

The two of them exclaid in unison.

Roger was also surprised; the elderly figure appearing before him was none other than Old Hank from the fishing village.

Old Hank looked Roger up and down.

“Why have you changed clothes again, where did you get these from?”

Roger did not answer this question, but instead pointed to Henrik on his shoulder.

“It’s a long story, my friend is injured and unconscious, can you help find a quiet place?”

Old Hank glanced at Henrik.

“Have you actually beco friends with an outsider?”

Suspicion and wariness filled his eyes, but after a mont’s hesitation, influenced by their previous encounter, he nodded.

“Follow .”

Not many days had passed, and there were no other changes in the village. When Roger returned, he saw from afar several young n carrying fishing nets entering the village, seemingly just back from fishing.

Old Hank found an empty room for Roger at the edge of the village, “Wake your friend, then leave this place.”

“You can stay here as long as you like, but he cannot.”

“There isn’t much food left in the village, I’ll have soone bring you so later.”

After dropping these blunt words, Old Hank turned and left.

Roger checked Henrik’s wounds, treating the more serious ones, his pupils and breathing were all normal.

“It must be a ntal Shock.”

Roger didn’t have a good solution for this; his spiritual power could only be used for defense. Speaking of spiritual power, it was at this mont that he noticed the enhancent of his physical condition had significantly increased the spiritual power in his mind.

The second Ouroboros was already taking shape, its thickness was not much different from the first one. However, because the increase in spiritual power stemd from the surge in physical condition.

The added spiritual power seed rough and needed refinent.

Once he had adapted to these spiritual powers and had honed them several tis, he should be able to cultivate a new Dharma Seal.

For Roger, mastering one Dharma Seal was equivalent to possessing a second one if he could reverse it.

Igni and Axis.

Fire and Bewitchnt, these two seals had greatly enhanced him.

Ti passed bit by bit. Just when Roger was getting worried, considering taking Henrik straight back to New Moon City, a groan was heard, and laying on the bed, Henrik slowly opened his eyes.

“Where am I?”

“You’re finally awake, how do you feel?”

Henrik was about to speak when a light sound ca from outside the door.

Roger leaned over to look, and it was the boy who had communicated with him a few days ago.

“Are you hungry? The village cooked so fish soup, and I managed to sneak a bowl out for you.”

The boy eagerly produced an old wooden bowl as he entered the room; the bowl had a fishy sll and contained a few unidentified seaweeds.

“Drink it while it’s hot.”

The boy enthusiastically handed the wooden bowl to Roger, but at that mont, Henrik suddenly leaped up from the bed and kicked the bowl out of Roger’s hands.

With quick steps, he grabbed the boy by the neck and pinned him against the wall behind him.

“Is it poisoned?”

Roger was taken aback for a mont.

With a dark expression, Henrik said, “I’m not sure about poison, but the at used in that soup is likely human!”
