Chapter 114: Chapter 114: Waning Moon Witch (Please Subscribe First!)

“This is the place!”

Roger shouted loudly, his gaze quickly noticing the black stone house standing deep within the thicket.

“No traces of departure, they’re still here!”

As soon as he spoke, Roger felt a wave of dizziness in his mind, which, due to the heightened emotional fluctuation, also brought him out of that strange state.

“What is this?”

“Hunter Vision?”

Henrik strode up quickly, guns in hand, “Everyone be careful, that prophet is definitely up to sothing. From what I know about the Tree Spirit Reincarnation Technique, that woman wouldn’t easily give up her ritual.”

“You guessed right…”

A sinister voice ca through, the prophet, clothed in a black robe, slowly erged from the stone house.

“So quickly you’ve found this place…”

The prophet’s “gaze” fell upon Roger’s face, and her expression shifted slightly, “A familiar aura, it’s you!”

“You took my Puppet Core!”

“I want to…”

“Bang!”

Her words were cut short by a bullet from Henrik.

The prophet’s head was hit by the bullet, her upper body tilting backward, but she quickly adjusted her stance and stood back up straight.

A silver bullet was embedded in her forehead, a bit of fresh blood seeping around it, and that was all.

The prophet’s face twisted in rage, “How dare you…”

“Bang bang bang!”

Henrik didn’t give the prophet a chance to speak, firing several bullets in quick succession.

“Talk, talk, talk, all I want now is to blow your head off!”

Henrik, overco with anger, rhythmically fired his dual guns, but the prophet lifted her hand, the black robe draped over her enveloping her completely.

The bullets hitting the robe seed to drop into a river, causing ripples before falling to the ground.

“What kind of clothing is this?”

Roger’s face paled slightly, and he didn’t stand idle, fighting off the dizziness in his head, he drew out the Steel Sword and rushed forward.

Right now, the most important thing was to find Amanda.

Who knew what weird ritual this woman was conducting!

Right then, a rustling sound ca from the thicket; followed by a python as thick as a bucket suddenly burst out.

A strong sense of alarm in his heart, Roger’s movents were as swift as a Spirit Cat, his Steel Sword slashing out.

Crack crack crack!

Steel Sword t the python’s scales, producing a sound akin to tal clashing.

The gigantic snake was fast, coiling up on the ground, the front half of its body raised high, a sinister red tongue flicking from its mouth.

Roger’s eyes narrowed slightly, his recent slashes, though they had broken through the serpent’s scale armor, had only caused shallow wounds.

In comparison, for such a large snake, these were but minor injuries.

At that mont, Peter suddenly charged forward, “Leave it to , go save her!”

“You?”

Roger was initially taken aback, but then saw Peter tearing a necklace from around his neck, squeezing it hard, the sharp end piercing his palm.

Saring the blood from his palm on his forehead, Peter’s aura suddenly changed.

“Exorcists are also very strong!”

With his hands together, the necklace held in between, Peter’s eyes turned into a strange pure white as he let out a low growl:

“Spirit Summoning!”

From within, a ray of Spiritual Light shot from the necklace into Peter, facing the attacking giant python, an imposing Peter pointed his finger.

“Intimidation!”

It seed as if sothing shot out and struck the giant python, which twisted and retreated as though it had seen sothing terrifying, without even getting close to Peter’s body.

In its hasty attempt to release its force, it lost its balance and flipped over, crashing into a big tree nearby.

“I can hold it off for a while longer, go save the others quickly!”

Peter shouted loudly.

Although Roger was anxious to rescue Amanda, he didn’t want to Peter to lose his life over it. Yet, given the current situation, this exorcist was clearly not as simple as he had imagined.

Even if he couldn’t resolve the issue with the python, restraining it for a bit should still be no problem.

anwhile, Henrik seed to be completely restrained by the prophet, his accuracy severely reduced due to interference from witchcraft, and that black robe the prophet was wearing left Henrik with no way to handle him.

“This robe…”

A sudden change ca over Henrik’s expression, as if he had realized sothing,

“You’re not Ertuya. This black witch robe…”

“You are …!”

Henrik seed to realize sothing but didn’t speak the na.

The prophet let out a strange laugh, “What’s the matter? Can’t even ntion my na?”

“Or have you forgotten?”

The prophet waved his hand, and suddenly a large flock of crows flew out from the woods behind the stone house.

They had claws and beaks as sharp as tal, and their eyes were blood-red as they rushed towards Henrik with a whoosh!

These were clearly not ordinary crows, as a peck from their beaks would probably result in an imdiate bloody hole.

“Without your help, how could that woman have been a match for , and how could I have ended up in this sorry state?”

“Bang! Bang! Bang!”

Henrik fired and killed the crows that swooped at him. He didn’t dare to keep moving forward at this point and could only widen the distance, looking for a breach in the prophet’s defenses.

A flash of insight struck Henrik’s mind as he suddenly thought of the bullet lodged in the prophet’s shoulder and the one embedded in his forehead.

The body?

His face changed, “Only your head survived?”

“The body belongs to Ertuya?!”

“Not bad, you’re quite smart!”

The prophet scoffed.

“I was the first to enter transcendence, having a chance to beco the youngest New Moon Witch in history. It’s all because of you!”

The crows’ attack beca even more relentless. Henrik was stunning with a gun, but under the continuous assault, he was bound to have a mont of weakness. A crow broke through the barrage of bullets and pecked a bloody hole in Henrik’s shoulder.

“With only a head, it took many, many years to recover. Now I’m finally ready; as soon as the ritual is complete, I can heal my injury.”

“And then, in no ti at all, you will all feel … despair again!”

Although Roger rushed at top speed to the vicinity of the stone house, before the prophet made a move, that gloomy, one-ard woman blocked his path.

Black blood dripped from the palm of her right hand. Due to excessive blood loss, her complexion grew increasingly pale, yet her eyes shone frighteningly bright.

The woman was ready for a last stand.

Feeling the intense aura emanating from her, Roger knew she was the strongest opponent he had ever faced!

With his dizziness growing stronger, Roger steadied his mind and drank a dose of Concentration Potion.

The cool liquid slid into his mouth and quickly turned into a coolness that rushed to his head.

With no ti to think, Roger held his Steel Sword in both hands and launched the first attack.

The battlefield was divided into three areas by several fighters; whoever would be the first to win their area would beco the key factor in deciding the overall victory!

At this mont, the liquid that had been sared over Amanda and another person’s body, like a living thing, seeped out from within them.

Seemingly, they took away all the vitality from these two young bodies.
