"The timing is spot on, was it planned?"

Two big n were there, gesturing with their hands and occasionally glancing over at Tang Xiaowan, as if discussing sothing very important.

"What’s going on, why so secretive?"

Could it be so trouble in business?

Has that terrible old man Li Wanshan stirred up trouble again?

Tang Xiaowan curled her lips, her eyebrows knitting tight with worry that her plan to return to i Garden would be shelved, since it was just her personal matter and couldn’t compare to the Leng Family’s billions in assets.

However, what surprised her was that Li Zihan, the elusive second young master of the Leng Family, also showed up.

"Hey, what’s going on here tonight?"

He looked pretty smug. Did he succeed in flirting?

"If you dare betray about sneaking into the storage room, I’ll spill everything about you threatening a classmate and skipping class this afternoon. Let’s see who gets scolded!"

"Little rascal, you still want to ntor you!

Let this miss teach you a trick for free!"

Thinking this, Tang Xiaowan couldn’t help but laugh out loud, her mood shifting from gloom to cheer.

The reason she knew so much about Li Zihan’s movents was because she took advantage of the afternoon off to sneak into the dical College. She had intended to seek revenge on soone from the large cafeteria but ended up witnessing an incredible scene.

Scene one: Li Zihan said sothing to a male student who then started crying and kicked another’s buttocks as he left.

Scene two: Li Zihan pulled a small box out of a male student’s pocket and casually threw it into the trash bin, the boy not daring to say a word.

Scene three: Li Zihan received a phone call, quickly left the dical College, then exited Jinda University’s gate and got into a black sedan.

For Tang Xiaowan, it was like being a fish in water!

She quickly ran toward the three big n who were chatting together.

Seeing Tang Xiaowan approaching, Li Zihan spoke first, "From now on, you don’t have to worry about where your ducks will co from. Guaranteed service on demand, haha."

"Why?" Tang Xiaowan was utterly confused.

Li Zihan coughed vigorously, raising his head proudly. "Miss Tang Xiaowan, from now on, when you see , please call ’Duck Roasting King, Boss Lai.’"

"You’re dropping out to roast ducks?"

"Yeah, that’s right, smart!"

Li Zishen saw Li Zihan still being evasive, slapped him on the head, and looked intently at Tang Xiaowan, "Zihan has bought Immortal Restaurant."

"The Immortal Restaurant that sells roast duck? Wow, no way!"

Li Zihan nodded proudly.

As for Immortal Restaurant, Tang Xiaowan knew very little about it, she’d only learned its na the first ti she ate there.

She certainly didn’t know it was owned by Li Zishen’s Second Uncle, Li Wanshan.

That afternoon, as soon as Li Zihan got the news, he imdiately called his private lawyer to transfer the ownership of the restaurant.

There was only one requirent: make it quick!

Since the transaction was handled by attorneys on both sides, Li Wanshan had no idea his own nephew had bought his restaurant. He even praised the lawyer for his efficiency.

Only after everything was settled did Li Zihan officially take ownership of the roast duck restaurant.

By the ti Li Wanshan found out, it was too late.

"Is this a good thing? Should we celebrate?"

Tang Xiaowan’s suggestion was imdiately affird by Li Zihan, "Needed, absolutely needed, my sister-in-law understands best."

Laughing heartily, he concluded, but everyone else had different thoughts.

Tang Xiaowan: Really annoying, wishing I hadn’t ntioned it! Oh well, I can’t help but bow under soone else’s roof. I’ll endure it for the sake of returning to i Garden.

Li Zishen: A teachable kid! Glad I didn’t keep this news from you.

Bai Long: I have things to do tomorrow, can’t drink.

"Xiao Wan, what would you like to eat?" Li Zishen quickly interjected, fearing she might counter Li Zihan’s words.

"Go to the kitchen and find sothing ready-made."

The little guy was indeed upset, his mood wasn’t high!

"Okay, let’s go, and call William and Chen Xin as well." Li Zishen then made a phone call.

minutes later, the kitchen’s back door was filled with laughter.

Wooden long tables, bamboo chairs, everything was moved out by everyone.

These were all made by Uncle Cai during his free ti.

Usually, these guys hardly ever entered the kitchen, naturally, they had no idea where anything was.

But to their surprise, Tang Xiaowan seed to know her way around quite well, finding beef jerky, luncheon at, pig’s feet, ham sausages, and even cold noodles and dried tofu.

Indeed, work seems effortless when n and won work together.

While the n were busy moving stuff, a bounty of ingredients had already been taken to the chopping board.

Seeing this, Li Zihan imdiately showed his skills, chopping what needed to be chopped and mixing what needed to be mixed, casually whipping up a full table of dishes.

And just like that, the late-night food mode was activated!

However, Wuyou Pavilion presented a different scene.

In the luxurious bedroom, Second Aunt Lai was sobbing heavily, continuously pounding on Li Wanshan’s back.

She complainted that he had a good life but insisted on competing with his own nephew, and now, the nephew’s share ownership was increasing, leaving them vulnerable to manipulation in the future without even a say in matters.

"Have you had enough, or do you still want more?"

Li Wanshan roared like thunder, and his phone was thrown far away.

Second Aunt Lai was startled.

The couple had been married for decades, and this was the first ti he had lost temper and interrupted his wife.

Second Aunt Lai recovered and imdiately threw her own phone as well: "Fine! Are you going to hit next, huh?"

"I lost my temper for a mont, I was wrong."

"Wrong is wrong, don’t act like you’ve been greatly wronged, why didn’t you discuss it with earlier, was there a need for this?"

"You play mahjong every day, who am I supposed to..."

"Great! Trying to shift the bla, aren’t you?"

"It’s not like that, honey, it was a slip of the tongue."

As expected, Li Wanshan was in for another sleepless night and would likely be banished to the study by his wife.

He was famously afraid of his wife!

...

Li Garden, second floor.

It was already eleven at night, but Li Zihan was still gaming.

After the gathering, he had wanted to pull Li Weilian back to their place to drink a few more, but he ntioned he had sothing the next day and couldn’t drink.

This left Li Zihan puzzled!

Little Black Dragon doesn’t drink, probably has official duties. Chen Xin doesn’t drink, because he needs to be available for his brother. Tang Xiaowan doesn’t drink because my brother doesn’t allow her.

What could Li Weilian possibly have going on, could it be...

With that thought, Li Zihan quickly grabbed his phone: [Sis-in-law, are you asleep?]

Tang Xiaowan: [Young master, you’ve texted the wrong person, haven’t you?]

Receiving the ssage, Li Zihan gave a mischievous smile: [Master, are you asleep? I was wondering why none of you drank tonight, is there a special event tomorrow?]

[I just didn’t feel like drinking. As for the others, don’t flatter yourself, it’s definitely not to set up a few tables for you.]

[It’s late, goodnight, master.]

[Don’t let it keep you up, haha!]

Damn, I was overthinking it, infuriating!
