"Old Day Illustrated Handbook - Updated"

[Prison Guard (Mouse)]

"Location": Original Dungeon

"Description": Lida, when he first arrived at the original dungeon, was the weakest and frailest among the prison guards. Even he couldn't understand how he was selected.

Moreover, he was inherently timid, feeling uncomfortable everywhere in the dungeon, and would often be frightened by so surface-level prisoners. His weak character and strength made him shunned in the prison.

One accident,

Lida was injured at a vital part of the body by a prisoner.

In such a dungeon, the loss of prison guards was very common, otherwise, recruitnt notices wouldn't be posted externally every year.

No one offered Lida treatnt here, only ridicule.

Dragging his seriously injured body, he laid down in a dark, damp area awaiting death.

The Death God who was supposed to arrive was driven away by a noise of mice, and when he woke up, he found himself covered in rats.

Nurous monstrous rats erging from the walls were licking his wounds, and so mice were even fusing with his damaged organs, restoring their functions.

Lida survived,

and he changed in a way.

He returned to the ranks of the prison guards, although still slightly timid, still scared by vicious prisoners, he never got hurt again, and even those prisoners attacking him suffered systemic damage.

The prison guard group gradually accepted him, but still, no one ca into close contact with him.

Lida got used to being alone; he continued to sleep in uninhabited corners, as if therein lay his friends.

An occasional deep cooperation, when Lida talked about this with other prison guards, it led only to laughter. Because in this original dungeon, there were only prison guards and prisoners, nothing else.

"Deconstruction Index & Effects": ★☆- Anyone who sees or hears anything related to the mice on Lida will attract an infestation of mice within their bodies, where the structure of mice will directly form on the surface of the viscera and proliferate and transform crazily in a short ti.

"Abilities":

1. [Timid] - Lida is naturally timid, causing him to beco excessively nervous when facing dangerous targets, accelerating heart rate, greatly enhancing speed and reaction ability.

2. [Rat King's Nest] - If subjected to coercion, all mice will return to the body, transforming into the most primitive body organs to support this flesh, Lida will beco the "Rat King" during this period.

[Rest Room]

The Moon Stone was taken down by Luo Di and placed on the torch.

The burning fla filtered through the Moon Stone, releasing a special white blaze, incinerating the rat remnants on the surface of the flesh.

In front of Luo Di,

A gigantic Rat King's corpse almost occupying an entire wall lay there. The waist and abdon, along with surrounding wall sections were cut open.

There were still so surviving, paralyzed rats licking its body, but unable to repair, soon they turned to ashes.

An iron key gnawed by rats fell onto the ground.

Luo Di gazed at the Rat King's corpse, comnting in a low voice: "This guy's strength isn't much weaker than the first elite prisoner I encountered, possibly quite similar, especially after transformation, posing a great threat.

I thought ordinary prison guards would be much weaker."

Luo Di was forcing out embedded rat teeth from his body, slightly saluting the prisoner in front of him.

During the slaughter, he could vaguely sense the essence of the counterpart; this prisoner had probably tried hard to survive during his life, but unfortunately did not make it to the end.

Morton's voice ca: "I have a deep impression of this mouse, even if my mories were erased, I still recall so, he seed quite special among the prison guards. If the Prison Director hadn't died, if the dungeon hadn't collapsed, he may soon have been promoted to elite prisoner.

I vaguely rember, once when I was starving without food, he had mice bring sothing, truly a rare Abnormal."

"Hmm... It's truly a pity."

Luo Di picked up the key, habitually heading to the elevator. Little did he know this key wouldn't fit at all.

Morton's scolding voice ca again:

"You really are foolish!! How many tis do I have to say, only the elite prison guard has the elevator key directly leading to the Transition Layer, this ordinary prisoner guard key can only let you move to the next level."

"Oh, you still retain mory of the dungeon?"

"Does this obvious situation still need mory? A slight analysis would reveal it. I just don't quite rember how to go down, you find it out yourself, don't waste too much ti, soon enough the Crow might co."

"Morton, do you think we are stronger than the Crow now?"

These words caused the second pupil in the eyeball to frantically clash, "I beg of you, Brother! We need to ensure our state to combat the Green Light... You are well aware how tough this Crow is to deal with, these temporarily detained prisoners are inherently superior to this dungeon.

You, a fellow who hasn't even consolidated a Divine Status, fantasizing about confronting a True God, beware or history will punch you in the face."

"No... My thought was whether the Crow could contact the Green Light?"

"You're fantasizing! This Crow roams around various areas of the original dungeon every day, if the Green Light would impact him, the outco would have been clear long ago.

Wait, you weren't thinking of purposely tempting the Crow and then venturing to the Green Light Cave, were you?"

Luo Di nodded without denying: "Yes… Judging from our previous escape experience, once the Crow locks onto a target, it should pursue relentlessly.

Could we provoke the Crow before heading to the Green Light Cave?"

"Don't pull such risky moves, I'm begging you! Even though this dungeon is consud by Fear, the Crow becos disoriented, but after all, he and the Green Light belong to the prisoners here, while you are an outsider.

You are more likely to be killed in conjunction!

Moreover, the Green Light cos to you, not the other way around.

You are forever passive, so let's stick to the original plan... This eye follows you, but not for suicidal purposes!

This eye wants to see how far you can go, if the ultimate ending is dying in such a place, then indeed my vision is very low, unworthy to continue living."

"Understood, I was just speaking casually.

Since we are descending layer by layer, we have no idea what the Green Light Cave entails, I'll gather all the supplies along the way, in case being trapped inside for an extended period, at least there will be provisions to eat."

Perhaps to a certain extent influenced by the rats,

Every ti Luo Di saw door structures he attempted to squeeze through, carefully rummaging through any wooden boxes, barrels, and cabinets.

All dried bread, spoiled jerky, dried mushrooms and non-identifiable but seemingly edible items were gathered.

Along the way, he casually dispatched two ordinary prisoner guards, they were much weaker compared to rats, and thus the torch fuel sufficed.

Crack!

The sealed Iron Gate was unlocked by the key,

The spiral-structured staircase passage unfurled before him, walking down from here will lead to [Second Layer].

Not long after stepping onto the stairs,

Luo Di heard that familiar wailing again, causing his fingernails to successively fall off, sad faces growing from the nail beds.

Clearly,

This sound-level deconstruction was significantly more potent than prison guards, even if Luo Di forced himself to regenerate, the nails would quickly be squeezed out.

Whish!

Both hands lifted, index fingers pierced the ears.

Even if Luo Di decisively destroyed the auditory system, the wailing persisted, moreover, the faces on the nail beds beca more realistic, as if all his ten fingers were turning into real human heads.

Or perhaps these heads themselves could embrace the wailing sound.

"Even sound blocking doesn't work?

I rember Morton once said, the prisoner emitting the wailing was quite special, fluctuating and tough to locate the main body."

"Ah? If I've said it, then it must be true!"

"To pass the Second Layer, we must find a way to manage this noise… your eyes should be able to help pinpoint the source of the noise, right?"

"Ahem! This eye is a special prisoner held separately, naturally peering into such upper-level prisoners is no problem.

But how long can you endure? If this influence persists, your body may completely deconstruct."

"No worries, I've figured out a solution… the opponent's deconstruction model is quite singular, just noise alone."

The hand expanded,

A silver-gray book appeared in his palm.

As the pale moonlight released, the screaming heads on ten fingers beca sowhat fearful, even the sound softened considerably.

Luo Di directly opened the first page, like returning to student days of morning reading, started loudly reciting the book's monologue.

Sound echoed in the ears,

Gradually occupying and expelling the wailing from external, out of his mind.

Reading while walking,

His own left eye perpetually fixed on the book,

The right eye, controlled by Morton, swiftly searching in the darkness.

Quickly…

A crouching, hunched, face-covering weeping child ca into view…
