Chapter 787: Chapter 775 Visit War Star!
More and more Lainino people beca aware of the term “War Star.” This fact filled them with even greater terror, as they realized that the mountainous spaceship was rely an outpost, and behind it were three movable planets!
What concept is a movable planet?
This idea existed only in science fiction. If this Alien Civilization truly had Planet Fortresses, it simply ant that the gap between them was far too vast to be bridged by frenzied production!
In fact, the Lainino Civilization hadn’t even discovered these additional planets!
“They claim to have War Stars, but is that really the case? Could this be so strategic deception?”
“Calm down, the probability of deception is not that high… because such a fact is too easily exposed.”
“Why haven’t we observed any traces of the Planet Fortress?”
“It might be because they are too far away…”
Holding on to a small amount of skepticism, but most of the Lainino people had already believed it largely, each of them zoning out as if they had forgotten how to think. They hoped everything was false, but reason told them it was real.
“Quick, search… right, search towards that gigantic spaceship!”
At that command, the world’s finest astronors started searching that patch of the sky over and over again.
These insiders had never been so united, each observing and calculating rapidly, not daring to slack off at all.
After all, they were a First-level Interstellar Civilization, and a lean cal is bigger than a horse. To avoid small asteroids, there were still a few space telescopes. After a series of careful searches, these Lainino people indeed caught so faint clues!
“Through the telescope, we noticed minor orbital changes in so distant planets. These changes in orbit were caused by the gravity of even more remote planets. Although we haven’t directly observed traces of War Stars, this significant, spontaneous gravitational force also indirectly proves the existence of three War Stars.”
“It could indeed be three War Stars, or it could be just one… we can’t ascertain the number.”
With this thought, the high level of the Lainino Civilization finally reached a consensus; it seed they had no choice but to comply…
And perhaps… there was a profit to be had? They deeply knew that if they could truly acquire new alien technology, the power dynamics of the entire civilization would fundantally change!
The previously hawkish mbers also shut their mouths. Previously, they had even considered probing a bit to see if this alien civilization had a façade of strength but were weak inside, but now, what was there to test? Laying low was the only sensible approach!
“The military production plan remains unchanged, but regarding the diplomatic negotiations…”
These Lainino people began heated negotiations again, discussing which representative to send for the negotiations, and what mindset to adopt, turning it into a battlefield of negotiations.
…
Thus, things quickly got back on track, and the next day, they received biological samples provided by the other party. The number of species wasn’t large, just 300 in total. So looked like monkeys, and others resembled yellow dogs. These animals were all in cages, making loud noises “awoo, awoo,” evidently very nervous in the zero-gravity environnt of space.
After an inspection, these transporting Lainino soldiers were allowed to enter the Titan Level Spaceship.
Obviously, it was difficult to describe the shock they felt. These white-furred apes even involuntarily touched the smooth walls of the spaceship before imdiately retracting their hands.
“Don’t touch anything!”
“Yes!”
As a military officer, who wouldn’t want to possess such a powerful military spaceship?
After entering a room, the leading Lainino diplomat montarily struggled to stabilize himself.
His complexion shifted slightly, “Artificial Gravity?”
He had no idea which level of civilization’s technology artificial gravity was, only that it was highly advanced.
This conference room was specially laid with a new generation of anti-gravity material that could simulate the gravity environnt most suitable for Lainino people. Naturally, since the production capacity of this material was very low, only a limited number of rooms could be equipped, and filling an entire Titan Level spaceship was impossible.
“Honorable Lainino civilization envoy, greetings!” Several Human diplomats, who had already been waiting at the round table, extended a friendly greeting.
“Honorable New Human Civilization, greetings.” These Lainino people suppressed the shock in their hearts, not truly understanding the difficulty of achieving anti-gravity versus artificial gravity…
They felt relatively at ease, appreciating the thoughtful consideration that subtly respected their dignity.
“This must be a civilization that highly values etiquette; they surely won’t attack us…” the lead Lainino diplomat told himself.
The negotiation process naturally went very smoothly, with the Human side being exceptionally polite, even to the point of astonishing the Lainino people. Afterwards, they exchanged so local gifts, including handicrafts and electronic toys.
“Please be assured, your civilization, that we will definitely accomplish this task! Biological specins, and… population, no problem, absolutely no problem.”
The Lainino diplomat guaranteed, although it was unclear why Aliens needed to capture those heavily addicted to electronic hormones and what it had to do with them.
Since the Lainino civilization had assisted the New Humans, they too deserved so form of compensation. These compensations would be calculated in terms of points.
Originally, people thought giving away so simple Level 1 Civilization technology would suffice… but clearly, so individuals within the Lainino civilization still desired to use this powerful external force for a global reshuffle.
They made a strange request, actually wanting to send so scientists and Noble Youth to visit the New Human Civilization’s War Star!
On the surface, the intent was to “broaden their horizons and understand more future technologies,” but more considerations were hidden beneath the surface.
Firstly, to truly determine whether Human Civilization possessed a War Star or was rely bluffing. If the New Humans genuinely owned a Planet Fortress, then why would the Lainino civilization bother producing weapons? They might as well stop altogether!
As for the second point, to undertake a more comprehensive diplomatic visit, “more beneficial for cooperation between both sides,” at least that’s how these Lainino people proclaid during the negotiations. How much internal power struggles and subtle maneuvers were involved, the New Human Civilization actually didn’t care to ddle.
In the face of absolute power, all sches and plots are insignificant.
For the New Human High-level, this was rely a transaction. Since this Alien Civilization wished to seize this opportunity to visit the War Star, then let them; after all, the transportation cost was negligible.
…
At this mont, more of the Human High-level shifted their attention to the internal upgrade of the Half-sphere Civilization.
For Humans, becoming a true Level 5 Civilization was far more important; compared to that, diplomatic affairs with a Low-level Civilization seed less significant. Even Zhang Yuan himself was focused on his own research, temporarily forgetting about this Alien Civilization.
“… Do you want to develop technology to enhance thinking speed? Indeed, it should be considered.” Zhang Yuan listened to the request of this Half-sphere scientist, frowning and pondering for a long while.
