Luminar Academy....
The headmaster waved his hand at the ssenger, and the person who carried the ssage regarding Aaron left the room.
Normally, spying on people would raise eyebrows, but for soone as powerful as the headmaster of the Luminar Academy, one of the most prestigious academies, which consistently stood in the top five, it would be considered common.
Especially with what just happened a few weeks ago.
Aaron returned from the ruins alive, a feat no one had achieved before. This made everyone interested in Aaron.
Once he returned, there were eyes on him from everyone. There was not a single mont when there was no one watching him, and that was sothing Aaron knew as well.
It was also one of the reasons why he was returning to the academy.
Too many are watching him; he can’t do anything to help him grow. Additionally, it may beco dangerous for his parents if he stays at ho for too long.
So, using the rits he gained from the ruins exploration, he brought a lot of resources, pushing his parents’ strength forward, before he left for the academy.
To anyone, it would be like he who consud those resources. If anyone gets a chance to see his strength, not the fake strength, but the glimpse of his true strength, then these resources that he consud could cover up a piece of that answer.
With too many audience, Aaron knew he couldn’t improve or do things that he wanted to, which was the primary reason for his return to the academy.
In the academy, there would be less surveillance, which would make it easy for him to manage his life.
---
Among those who were spying on Aaron were individuals who worked for the Luminar Academy. It would have been surprising and suspicious if there were none, as even so from Dusk Academy were watching.
Unlike other academies or factions, Jason Luminar, the headmaster of the Luminar Academy, has a different purpose. He was not interested in knowing the secrets behind the boy.
He was not interested in knowing how the boy survived where awakeners who were stronger than him perished.
No, he was more interested in his Master’s plan.
The one his family made a deal with, one of the five human gods. He was doing sothing that needed a lot of Death professionals, and they are not easy to co by, as most belong to Dusk Academy or are strong enough to bring down armies.
There were many who remained weak and could be used, but the ritual required soone with considerable potential to work for the better. It can work without the potential, but that was just to make sure the ritual works properly.
Anyone with potential has grown up and is too strong to take down without making any noise.
Aaron seed perfect.
The only problem was that he was under surveillance of others, making it impossible to make a move on him, until now.
Aaron, now on a train back to the academy, would be under less surveillance, maybe no surveillance at all. After all, he would be back in the academy and any factions other than the Dusk Academy’s spies can’t spy on them.
Outside, it might be a fair ga, but within the academy, that may cause issues and not many would be interested in causing any turmoils.
So, instead of wasting ti and resources by following Aaron, they might have ended the surveillance.
This would make it the best ti for Jason Luminar to make a move and secure Aaron for the master and be done with it.
He didn’t want to be classified by the alliance as an enemy and hunted for his life. If they find out about the works he has done in the dark, he would be marked, maybe even his family would be, which he doesn’t want to.
The best way to prevent that from happening was to allow the master to complete the ritual as soon as possible. The sooner he is completed, the sooner he will be out of this world, and it won’t be easy for the alliance to find what the master has done.
Even if the other four find out what the fifth one has done, they may not connect to him. The longer it takes, the higher the chances of connecting them both. He didn’t want that.
Turning such a talented one like Aaron into a sacrifice would definitely reduce the ritual ti, but it would surely attract the attention of a top academy, especially when they find out what happened.
Jason sat in his chair. Silent.
He needed to weigh the pros and cons of doing this.
Robbing students from low-level academies was easier, and also, there was no one watching the students’ moves, which made it easier, but Aaron was different.
To Dusk Academy, he was important. Although he may have had no idea about the academy’s internals, he knew from the movent that Aaron had won the tournant and helped his academy reach second position overall; the academy should have placed a lot of hope in him.
Even if he doesn’t reach Rank-7, they should be sure that he will reach Rank-6. So, even the alliance would pay attention to such people.
"Red", Jason called out and soon a shadow ford in front of him.
"Gather the teams. All of them. Your target would be a student from Dusk Academy. At the mont, he was on the train headed to Dusk City, which he boarded less than half an hour ago".
"Make sure you capture him alive. It doesn’t matter if he was crippled; he won’t be alive for much longer anyway. Once captured, take him directly to the ritual site. Also, as usual, make sure that there are no traces. Be extra sure, as this ti, Dusk Academy may get involved when he goes missing", Jason ordered the shadow, without a trace of emotion that he was doing sothing wrong.
Jason finally made his decision to abduct Aaron, and as long as there was no evidence, anything could be done, or at least that’s what he believes.
