Aaron patrolled in his sector daily for two weeks. There was nothing unusual happening in the past two weeks. It was relief for him.

Though he wanted to hunt the Cult mbers as much as possible, he didn’t want to have collateral damage happen during the hunt. Any battle would leave behind damage not just to infrastructure but also to people, which is what many forget about, while showing off their powers.

If any cult mbers show up, he is not going to let them go, but that doesn’t an he wants so to appear in his ho city. If he finds any, he would hunt them down. No doubt about that, but he would be happy if he appeared in deserted areas or outside the city, where he can showcase his powers without worrying about anything.

In these past two weeks, though he has not been levelling up even a bit, he was happier than he was in the past two years.

He got to spend more ti with his family, and the good thing was that they were improving slowly and steadily. Both were on the verge of becoming Rank-4 chefs.

Two years ago, they never dread of reaching such a rank.

Unlike combat professionals, crafters grow slowly because they have to craft an item related to their profession to gain EXP and that too a complete item. If they fail to create those items, even partial failures would reduce the EXP earned.

So, effort doesn’t matter, only the final product matters to gain EXP and level up.

Of course, skill rank would still improve even if a product fails. Even failure to create an item helps them to understand everything about why they have failed, and they won’t repeat another ti.

There is also one problem with crafters.

Combat Professionals would dedicate themselves to increasing their EXP, rather than collecting so loot. So, they would be spending most of their ti in the Experience dungeons, not Loot dungeons.

The problem for crafters was that they had to get so combat professionals to gather the materials needed.

Most combat professionals would just use basic materials to start, very few at the beginning, unless they co from rich families.

A swordsman starts with a sword in hand and almost nothing more, if their family was a poor one. A mage or a summoner doesn’t necessarily need any items, just mana.

They would just rush to Experience Dungeons, and would only go to loot dungeons, if need arises or much later in life, when they want to settle down after reaching the peak of what they can reach in life.

It was only when they reached a stage where they couldn’t develop anymore that they would stop entering EXP dungeons and concentrate on loot dungeons.

Crafters have no such choice. Though the alliance provides a few resources through schools when they awaken, as they know that crafters are as important as any combat professional, but that would be nowhere near enough.

This was why, among commoners, combat professionals are what everyone hopes to awaken before their awakening, but as one can imagine, not everyone can awaken a combat profession, nor a profession that is good.

Even so, many would first try to beco strong rather than rich. Wealth would flow once a person is strong.

Also, as most combat professionals would stop at Rank-3, and when they settle down at that Rank, the goods they procure from dungeons would be good for Rank-3 crafters, but Rank-0 to Rank-2 would suffer without enough supply in the market.

Though the alliance provide so materials after awakening, unlike combat professionals, they can’t just continue making products, especially like food made by cooks.

The products needed to be sold, and wasting created products would net in losses.

It was why the crafters would always follow behind the combat professionals while levelling up. It was why cooks like his parents lagged behind. Even the skills won’t improve if they don’t create any products.

Now, that trouble has reduced. Though it was still difficult for them to level up faster, their skills are improving at a much faster pace.

To everyone, it looks like crafters are always at a disadvantage, but they, too, have certain benefits that are not available to combat professionals.

With improved skill ranks, the amount of EXP gained for creating the sa item would be improved as well. So, with their increased skill ranks, they are progressing faster than before, which made him happy.

As long as they can cross Rank-5 at the least, they would be safer, and he can show his power without hiding much. There are a few he had to hide, but he can show at least 80 to 90 percent powers without a worry.

Aaron frowned as he looked at the group of five. Sothing about them felt wrong to him.

To others, they are just as any other group of five, enjoying ti with each other, but others don’t have the perception as high as him.

He was soone who understood that depending solely on eyes and ears is stupid. He needed to see things through any "Visible" attributes that were possible. Of course, ignoring what’s right in front is also stupid.

Anyway, when he perceived the five, he felt sothing was wrong. Recently, he could feel death easily. He didn’t know why it was so, but he had a feeling that his new skill, which boosted the Death Energy Recovery rate.

He started to observe that he could sense if a person was around Death recently and whether that was a small thing or huge.

He sensed such situations with almost everyone, even back at the fort, but these five, they felt a bit different. He didn’t know what was different, but he decided to check.

Better safe than sorry.

He started walking towards the group, and the group suddenly bolted.

"What the hell? Hey, stop. This is city patrol. Stop this second", Aaron barked out loudly.
