While Aaron is having the ti of his life, there was soone who was not.
Viren Ironheart.
He was supposed to be part of the five who participated in the tournant, where every academy fought with each other. This was supposed to be his ticket to the top.
Though he was from a rich and powerful family, Ironheart, he was not the only one in the family to monopolise all the family resources.
Viren is the third son and fifth child of Darren Ironheart, Head of the Ironheart family.
He may have gotten resources far better than many, even when compared to other family mbers, but he doesn’t have the most. That perk belongs to his sister, Ellara.
Ellara Iroheart, Dark Swordsman, fourth child and second daughter of Darren Ironheart, is two years older than Viren. She, too, is a student of Dusk Academy, presently in the third year.
Ellara is one of the top students in the academy. During her year, the academy gained third rank in the Inter-academy tournant. She even reached second position, only losing to one person from the Capital Academy.
That tournant not only brought her resources from the alliance and the academy but also from the Ironheart family.
This was sothing Viren wanted to repeat. That was the mont when she grew to be the one who got the most of the resources allocated by the family to their youngsters. With those resources, Viren thought that it would be easy for him to reach a higher rank easily, which would give him a lot of power not only in the family but also outside in the city.
It all went down the drain after losing one match.
For that, he started to hate Aaron, but there was nothing he could do, especially when the tournant was about to happen. Making a move against Aaron at the ti was akin to destroying his future.
He may be a jealous person, but not a stupid person, who would lose his rationality due to one simple act. He decided to wait for the right ti to strike, and when he did, he wanted to make sure that Aaron would feel the pain.
So, he decided to wait for now.

Days have passed. The tournant started, and then it ended.
It was then, Viren ca to know about the results regarding the tournant. His enemy, Aaron Skyhart, secured first place in the tournant. Even the academy reached second rank, which it has never achieved in its long history of the alliance.
With those feats achieved, Aaron beca famous among the students of the academy and not just him, but the other four as well.
Once those five returned from the tournant, everyone in the academy beca friendly with them and wanted to beco friends with them at all costs.
This made him angrier and jealous of all five, especially of Aaron.
"That glory should have been mine", he started to scream internally or when among his goons whenever he rembered or saw the five.
Even though his brain was filled with anger and jealousy, there was still a part of his mind that was sane, not to make such statents or have outbursts when among others. He would only beco a joker if he did that, especially with his sister present in the academy.
There was no love lost between the siblings because of their mothers.
Viren’s mother, the first wife of his father, was the last to give birth to a child, him.
The first son and the second daughter were both children of the second wife, while the second son and the first daughter were twins born from the third wife.
He who was supposed to inherit the family was born late, becoming the fifth child, which made him last in line for the position of the family’s head after his father vacated the seat.
So, of all his siblings, Viren hated and argued with the second daughter, because he couldn’t stand against the first son, who was years older than him, and when he was little, the first brother had already awakened.
At the mont, except for the last two, the others have already graduated and gained a lot of family rits.
In order to sit on the chair as the head, one needs a lot of rits, and being born later, he was already lacking in that aspect. He needed miracles, and he believed that he could start from the academy, but stumbled from the start.
In the first tournant itself, he was pushed to second rank by a lot of points difference.
Now the inter-academy tournant, which was supposed to put him on the map, made him a joker of a kind.
He heard students whispering for days after the tournant. He was supposed to go, but due to a stupid mistake, he was eliminated. The mistake, trying to use a dangerous and possibly fatal attack on Aaron, to which Aaron responded in kind by using mind attacks on him, making him unstable for days.
It was not just that he lost the chance to get into the tournant and gain benefits, he lost days worth of ti staying in the dic hall.
It was not just among the first years that these whispers appeared, but also among seniors. He ca to learn the source from his half-sister, Ellara.
Though he knew the source, he had no power to do anything at the mont.
She was stronger than him. Though a few years ago, he could argue and overwhelm her when it ca to physical fights, due to boys being inherently stronger than girls in most cases, that didn’t remain true after her awakening.
Of course, that didn’t an Ellara could do anything to Viren once she awakened.
Awakened shouldn’t touch unawakened; that was a rule in their house. Any failure to follow the house rules would lead to severe punishnts.
Now that she has had a chance to make fun of Viren, how can she let the chance go?
She made full use of it and made Viren look like an idiot and a failure.
Now that they are both awakened, if he retaliates physically, then no matter what she does to him, the family wouldn’t intervene, especially because what she spread was not false information to justify his attack.
"I would make all of them pay for what they have done, rember this", Viren made an oath one night, drunk along with his hechn.
What that oath leads to, no one knows.
Whether he can get his revenge or would it lead to a catastrophe, only ti would tell.
