Leinster couldn’t accept such a result but before he could open his mouth, Seolhee, who was unconscious, suddenly snapped her eyes open and slowly stood up.

The challengers imdiately stared at her warily, their weapons ready to attack her vital spots.

"Bipedal!" Leinster called out to Seolhee and Seolhee slowly looked at Leinster, her face void of all colours but there was still a tiny, tiny light in her eyes.

"Lein...ster...I...know....I’m about...to beco...a monster."

There were various voices continuously speaking in her mind and she really couldn’t bear it anymore.

In her eyes, her fellow human beings sohow looked more appetizing than ever.

She’s slowly turning into sothing not human.

"No, it’s just a low sanity level. Once we are out, there must be so items to restore your sanity!"

The alien started to panic.

The alien, who never knew emotions, suddenly beca flustered.

This was his first human friend. His mobile emotion factory.

She couldn’t die!

"Leinster..." Seolhee shook her head and smiled stiffly, her body slowly changing.

"Let ...go..."

Seolhee’s hair slowly grew longer and longer, reaching down to her ankle.

The light in her eyes slowly disappeared, turning pitch black.

The entire white eyes also turned bloody red, like a starving zombie.

The pale white skin slowly turned dim grey, as if burned by the fire.

Criss cross marks started to appear on Seolhee’s limbs. It looked like it was once cut and then forcibly sewed it together.

"No, no, no— " Leinster wanted to rush to Seolhee’s side, but this ti, even the ghost mother grabbed Leinster’s hands tightly, tears streaming down her cold face.

"Child, she’s in pain. Let her...rest in peace."

The comnt section had descended into chaos as Seolhee’s friends and families spamd the comnt section with full capitalized words, but no other audience sent their comnts, just silently watching the ss.

"Bipedal..."

Leinster slowly couldn’t catch any emotions from Seolhee.

The person who once generated so many different emotions now...beca as still as a statue.

As a non-human himself, he could feel it.

He could feel that the woman was slowly becoming just like him.

But...he wanted the bipedal. He doesn’t want anyone else.

Leinster’s heart ached for the first ti ever. He opened and closed his mouth a few tis yet nothing ca out.

He could only watch as Seolhee turned into a complete humanoid monster, even more alien than the real alien himself.

A split second before Seolhee truly beca a monster...

Leinster finally asked hoarsely, his voice trembling.

"What...is your na? Your real na."

Seolhee’s sincere smile slowly turned into that polite custor service smile but she still spoke in a strangely human voice for one last ti.

"Bai...Bai Seolhee."

Please...rember her.

Even after she’s no longer Bai Seolhee.

"Seol— seol. Seolhee." Leinster chewed the words a few tis and forced a smile uglier than cry.

Tears already gathered in his eyes yet he refused to let it flow down.

"Thank you, Seolhee. And...rest in peace."

"Yes. Goodbye...Lein...ster."

As the last word fell, Seolhee completely turned into a guardian spirit and her livestream’s screen darkened.

The other survivors surprisingly didn’t urge the new guardian spirit, all of them lowering their heads, the mood heavy.

Watching a fellow human turning into a monster right in front of their eyes...

They too, felt fear, grief and a sense of helplessness.

Humans had always been small in front of these non-human beings.

Seolhee, no, the new guardian spirit smiled sweetly as she pointed at the hole in the ceiling.

"Dear custors, I’m so sorry for trapping you guys here! Since you have completed the mission, you can leave now!"

The barrier blocking the ceiling slowly disappeared, even the darkness receded like the tide.

A few veterans imdiately use ropes or whatever skills they had to climb up and once they ca out of the hole, they quickly shouted to those down below.

"Hurry, guys, it’s safe! It’s really safe! We are out! We survived!!"

With testimony, one by one, the challengers left the exhibition hall.

Strangely, the frenzied monsters cald down and even the fire that had already started to seep into the exhibition hall beca docile.

Amidst the raging fire, the soft moonlight ca through the hole in the ceiling.

Its gentle light illuminated the new guardian spirit’s face, making her a bit humane for a split second.

After the veterans left, the sealed demon king boy left, Jung Ryeo left, the ghost mother took one last look at the new guardian spirit and left with a heavy heart.

Only Leinster remained in the vast exhibition hall, surrounded by so many monsters.

"Sir, it’s ti to leave."

The new guardian spirit reminded, her tone strangely carried a sense of urgency.

She’s hurrying the white-haired young man to leave the dangerous place.

But Leinster started to swing his whips around, killing the surrounding monsters who didn’t even dare to resist.

Slash! Slash! Bam! Bam! Bam!

One after another, monsters with levels higher than Leinster died in his hands and the chains imdiately sucked the monsters, turning them into cards that entered Leinster’s body.

[Unsealing progress 5%...10%...]

Seeing Leinster’s action, although the new guardian spirit didn’t understand, she subconsciously "fed" the monsters straight into Leinster’s chains until the unsealing process skyrocketed straight to 99%!

With so many level three and even higher level monsters dying, Leinster’s seal was only a step away from being broken.

It was at this ti that the new guardian spirit shook her head.

"Sir, it’s ti. The exit will soon close. You need to leave."

The girl still had that polite custor service smile on her face but Leinster could feel a tiny, tiny bit of care in those cold words.

Leinster took one last look at the new guardian spirit before he swung his chains towards the hole in the sky, his body slowly ascending.

From this height, all he could see was the lonely figure of the girl, surrounded by very little monsters and debris.

Before Leinster’s body truly left the hole, Leinster opened his mouth and uttered his final words.

"Goodbye, Seolhee."

"I’ll see you again."

Light enveloped Leinster’s body and the system notification imdiately chimd in.

DING! [You have successfully completed the ruin! The rewards will be calculated out shortly ••• ]

Leinster entered the familiar white space and the familiar blue-eyed bunny appeared.

But his mind was already on the progress bar of his unsealing.

[Process: 100%].

He could feel that a foreign power in his body, sothing that definitely didn’t belong to a human was about to co out.

See, Seolhee. I told you that I would see you again.

Not because he was confident that his contribution points in this round was the highest and he could secure the mall, safely protecting Seolhee inside.

But because...he too, was about to beco non-human.

Maybe, he would even the join the ga, because, who knows, right?

He felt that his might be a descendants of a boss monster and a challenger.

The blue-eyed bunny seed to know this too as it bowed politely.

"Welco back, young master. You can enter the ga anyti you wishes, either as a challenger, or..."

"As a boss monster."

Leinster curled the corner of his lips and spat out his words in a cold voice.

"I’ll enter again, this ti as a boss monster. Oh, yes, don’t forget to secure my rewards and make sure the last ruin is completely under my control."

So that no one could hurt her.

"Sure, young master. It’s your rightful reward. Now, I’ll explain the rules about being a boss monster..."

No one would ever imagine that Leinster wouldn’t even co out of the last ruin and instead would imdiately enter another ruin, this ti becoming a whole new existence.

After the bunny explained the rules, it bowed again as a portal appeared in front of Leinster.

"It’s ti, young master."

Leinster entered the portal with calm steps and he spoke in a strangely captivating voice, as if speaking to the future challengers who would soon face him and his unknown power.

"Welco to Death League 101 Season 9."

"I’ll be waiting, so..."

"Enjoy the ga~ "
