"How about it?" Dubian Che packed up his mood and asked curiously.

Kiyono Lin took another look and nodded, "It’s no wonder the ever-lying Mr. Dubian has acting skills that deserve recognition."

"It always feels like you’re insulting ."

"Do you have any dissatisfaction?"

"No, not at all, I’m very happy to be praised for my acting."

Kiyono Lin gave Dubian Che, who was obviously disingenuous, a white look and tapped the video she had just shot: "Take a look."

Dubian Che leaned in, ready to watch, but sothing unexpected happened—the wind from the woods blew through Kiyono Lin’s hair, bringing a scent that felt extrely comfortable to him.

Dubian Che’s gaze uncontrollably moved to the girl’s profile, her skin was pale and radiant, her eyes focused.

Her freshly washed black hair was distinct and swayed lightly without any weight.

A minute-long shot quickly passed.

"How about it?" Kiyono Lin lifted her head and asked softly, just as her gaze collided with Dubian Che’s.

The two were very close, her own hair, stirred by the wind, occasionally brushed past Dubian Che’s muscular and elegantly lined arm.

"Are you sure you want to use such shots?" Dubian Che stood up straight, stepping away from the girl.

The noise from the Shengong Stadium in the distance once again faintly reached their ears.

"...Any problem?" Kiyono Lin brushed the long hair from her shoulder and couldn’t help but stealthily glance at Dubian Che’s arm.

Upon close inspection, his arm was actually that thick, though he appeared quite slim overall.

"Rather than filming a movie, I suddenly feel I could make a fortune taking portraits."

Kiyono Lin was montarily stunned, but after regaining her composure, she said irritably, "Please, Mr. Dubian Che, there’s a limit to being self-obsessed."

"That’s confidence, just like how you think everyone likes you, Miss Kiyono Lin."

Kiyono Lin scoffed coldly and turned to leave.

"Where are you going?" Dubian Che watched her retreating figure with a sense of pride.

Having the upper hand in a conversation with Kiyono Lin was a very satisfying feeling—whether others thought so or not, he certainly did.

"Police."

"Eh? Wait a second!"

Dubian Che quickly followed her, taking a few steps before rembering the tripod and boom mic left to the side and running back to grab them.

By the ti he caught up with Kiyono Lin, she had already walked out of the dim and secluded path.

"Kiyono, Kiyono, Lord Kiyono, Minister, just one word, just one!"

Kiyono Lin stood still, looking at him: "One word, you say."

"That’s two words..."

Dubian Che didn’t finish his sentence as Kiyono Lin continued walking away without looking back.

"I’m wrong, really wrong! I’m vain, I spout nonsense, I won’t take portraits anymore."

Dubian Che followed behind Kiyono Lin like a scabby dog that wouldn’t let go of a swan.

It wasn’t until they reached a shaded area that Kiyono Lin stopped.

She looked at Dubian Che, who was feigning a pitiful look, and said without any courtesy, "I’m thirsty, buy a bottle of water."

"No problem, but about calling the police... What do you think?"

"Did I say I wanted to call the police?" Kiyono Lin looked at him puzzled.

"...You tricked ?!"

"I never lie. Go on," she said lightly and sat down on the bench, then aid her SLR at the police officers maintaining order in the distance and the crowd flowing into Shengong Stadium.

Dubian Che gritted his teeth in frustration, because Kiyono Lin never lied, and he truly thought for a mont that she was going to call the police.

But then again, it was probably because he indeed had done a bit too many guilty things.

Buying water for Kiyono Lin was a promise he had made, and Dubian Che wasn’t about to break his word over sothing like that.

Nearby was a white vending machine with ’Winning rate of 0.7%!!!’ written on it.

Dubian Che took out his wallet, which only had a 100-yen coin, so he reluctantly inserted a thousand-yen bill and bought a bottle of oolong tea and soda pop.

The change clinked down, and unsurprisingly, there was no win.

If he could win with a 0.7% chance, he, Dubian Che, wouldn’t leave his system lying around half unused.

That thought wasn’t right either.

If it wasn’t for the fear of behaving abnormally and being discovered by Jiutiao ijie, he should now be a business tycoon breaking human limits, selling fruit knives and costics.

"You’re too slow," Kiyono Lin complained.

"I got a little lost on the road of life." After handing her the oolong tea covered with condensation, Dubian Che also sat down on the chair.

Both were thirsty after walking under the sun for a long ti and imdiately began to drink.

After replenishing her fluids, Kiyono Lin, with a sowhat contented expression, set aside the bottle that still had more than half a liquid inside and picked up the SLR again, aiming the lens at the dense crowd and continuously capturing material.

In the distance, within the red twilight, there were contrails from planes streaking the sky.

Sitting in the sumr shade, Dubian Che gestured with the soda bottle toward the sky, imagining the plane flying into the bottle and then took a sip of soda as if tasting the flavor of a plane.

The two stayed on the bench until the heroine Jiutiao i made her appearance.

She was dressed in a black long dress, with a tight belt wrapped around her waist, highlighting her slender figure, looking like a she-demon in the night, walking slowly towards them with elegant steps.

Dubian Che felt her outfit matched his research direction, but Kiyono Lin frowned, "This outfit is too different from the image."

"Then make the heroine’s image like mine," said Jiutiao ijie, a domineering comnt that well suited her persona.

"You agreed to play the role, please stick to the script."

"That depends on the script," Jiutiao ijie scoffed.
