Players couldn’t help but give each other bewildered looks, clearly, the items Emperor Taizu of Sheng requested had them a bit confused.

Ordinary players certainly didn’t have such equipnt.

They only had so standard equipnt they had bought from the Reforr Fortress, such as rattan shields, waist knives, long spears, various types of armor, and so on. What Emperor Taizu of Sheng was asking for was a bit too fancy, and they didn’t know how to gather such items.

ng Yuan, however, silently blended back into the group of players.

Imdiately after, a system prompt appeared in all the players’ fields of vision.

[Military supplies have arrived!]

[Each player will receive a certain number of military supply points, which you can use to select the necessary weapons and equipnt according to your points.]

[The legendary summoning function is now ready!]

[You can use the construction value from the Reforr Fortress to deploy legends for a short appearance to obliterate the enemy.]

Seeing these prompts, the players couldn’t help but feel invigorated.

Yo? This is very tily!

It looks like it was all prearranged by the ga.

Now in the players’ field of vision, an icon for military supplies appeared, complete with numbers.

Based on previous instance clearance progress, there was a ranking, with those ranking higher getting more supplies, and those ranking lower getting fewer.

Additionally, the initial rank within the army would also differ.

And the equipnt and items that appeared in the players’ field of vision were diverse.

Among these were basically the equipnt that Emperor Taizu of Sheng had requested, including those used by General Deng during his training!

In the infantry’s view, there were bird guns, cannons, iron bracers, waist knives, rattan shields, crossbows, long spears, war chariots, and so on.

Bird guns and cannons were the latest models used by General Deng during his training.

The iron bracer was a piece of equipnt used by the early infantry of the Sheng Army. Larger than an arm guard, it could provide good protection in close combat, especially useful for speararn who couldn’t carry rattan shields or bucklers.

Waist knives, rattan shields, crossbows, and so on were the sa as those used by the Sheng Army in eradicating the Eastern Barbarian bandits.

As for the long spears, they were purely the long spears used in battle formations—five to six ters long, placed into the ground to form arrays, they beca a zealous hedgehog.

For ordinary people, just lifting such long spears was strenuous, but the players had greatly enhanced physical capabilities within the ga, making wielding such weapons a non-issue.

Though the longer the spear, the less nimble it beca, but in a battle formation, nimbleness wasn’t necessary; what mattered was the reach’s extremity.

And for the cavalry equipnt that Emperor Taizu of Sheng demanded, there were fast horses, light knives, supple bows, long arrows, and three-barreled guns.

Among these, fast horses and three-barreled guns were, of course, essential.

Light knives were mainly for flexibility in combat on horseback. Spears were used during the charge, but in the chaos of close combat, lighter single-handed waist or curved swords proved more effective.

Supple bows were chosen for rapid shooting. Archery from horseback inherently had lower draw weight than foot archery, as it was difficult to exert force on horseback and inconvenient to draw long bows. The rapid shooting of a supple bow also compensated for the slowness of musket fire.

Long arrows were for use with supple bows, as their higher flexure matched better.

Even options like cannons or war chariots popped up in front of the infantry.

These war chariots resembled those General Deng used against the Northern Barbarians, with thick compartnts mainly for defense against the charges of Barbarian cavalry.

Leveraging the war chariots, players could utilize muskets, cannons, or long spears to inflict damage on the Northern Barbarian cavalry.

Chuge hurriedly shouted, "Don’t rush to choose your weapons and equipnt, everyone; line up first!"

Everyone had limited supplies, so choices couldn’t be random.

If every player chose a war chariot, what would happen? Having barriers without enough weapons also wouldn’t do.

So, they had to form into rank and file, then allocate who would take what weapons, and what each person’s role would be, ensuring these supplies were not wasted.

The players began to move, each in a brouhaha. Even though the leaders of these thousand-man squads were trying their best to maintain order, there was still so confusion.

Chuge quickly touched base with Lu Heng, Zhao Haiping, Li Weiyi, and others, deciding to imdiately summon General Deng.

After all, they had one chance for a legendary summon—why not use it now?

Why wait and save it for the New Year?

Soon, a mighty righteousness broke through the clouds, as if a divine punishnt descended from the heavens, crashing down onto an open space among the group of players!

General Deng Yuanjing appeared in full armor, astride a warhorse, holding a long spear; his expression was as puzzled as when Emperor Taizu of Sheng had first appeared.

"General Deng! We et again!"

Many players crowded around excitedly.

After passing the "I Never Wished to be Ennobled" instance, many players had lanted General Deng’s eventual fate.

Now, seeing General Deng again, there was a sense of familiarity.

Quickly, General Deng understood his current mission, adopted his role fast, and started directing the players to adjust their formation while on horseback.

While Emperor Taizu of Sheng orchestrated the overall situation, General Deng, accompanied by Chuge, Zhao Haiping, and other players, coordinated the formation, and everything remarkably fell into order.

Emperor Taizu of Sheng and General Deng, their approaches surprisingly aligned, experienced no friction at all.

In fact, many things were handled seamlessly by the two without prior consultation.

The players could only marvel, thinking: indeed, the failures of different people are diverse, but the successful leaders often resemble each other.
