Quest 40- Back HoAfter arriving in Ukhara, Cirrus said his farewells to Jane and the rest. He told jane where to find him in Orario. With so last words of parting, he left back to Orario.
Weeks of travel go by, and Cirrus arrives back in Orario’s Western Gate.
‘Seems everything is about the sa.’
Walking around, heading up the West Northern section of Orario to Lenoa’s shop, he found sowhat fewer cris.
‘Whoever started to help has been on a roll.’
When Cirrus arrived back ho, he was t with a surprise.
“Welco back!!” shouted Euphe.
“I hope you don’t mind having your friend here. She’s been coming once a week, you know.”
“Well, I was worried about my best custor and friend!” she said with a slight smile and a monotone voice.
“It’s good to see you all again,” Cirrus said, dropping so of his stuff in the kitchen.
“Hm? seems you also brought a friend.” Lenoa looks at Nox perched on his shoulder.
“Where did you find this beautiful creature?”
“I found her out in the desert. You can think of her as my familiar and close friend.”
‘You an life partner, right?’ Nox said to Cirrus, who is the only one who can hear her.
“Well, isn’t she a feisty one?” Lenoa said as she takes a seat.
“She can be.”
They all sat down and ate their fill. Euphe went and took Cirrus’s gear for maintenance. It seed his sword and spear need so work while his shield… it was in so desperate need of professional help.
Late at night.
“So tomorrow our contract will be fulfilled, huh?” said Cirrus in bed after a nice shower.
‘Fufu you will get to gaze upon my true form again.’
“Ah… I should buy you clothes for that, right?”
‘… Ah speaking of which I have been naked for a very long ti now that I’m thinking about?’
“… Well, you are covered by feathers soooo….”
‘Seems we will cross that bridge when we co to it… but bring your cloak, just in case.’
“Good idea.”
The next day in the Room of Prayer.
“It’s good to see you again, Lord Ouranos. I missed your stoic and calm deanor.”
“You have grown well. Seems you have been eating right, hasn’t he Fels?” Ouranos said, looking upon his throne.
“Yes, but I am most curious how you ca across this Familiar? It’s incredibly intelligent.” Fels said, looking at Nox.
‘This is your parent!? Well, this is pretty new.’
“You said you found it in the desert? Is this correct?” Ouranos said, looking keenly at Nox.
“Yes, I did.”
Ouranos and Nox looked keenly at one another for a bit.
“… Co, let update your status.”
Cirrus drops the cloak and Nox lands on it as Cirrus removes his shirt and, to Fels’s surprise, finds so scars on the right side of his body, particularly his right arm.
Ouranos places his finger on the corner of his throne and, with a quick motion, cuts his finger and drops a droplet onto Cirrus’s back.
“…. I see your ti there was an ordeal.” Ouranos then looked at Nox with keen eyes. “Fels.”
Fels cos and gives him a piece of paper and places it on Cirrus’s back, finishing his update.

Nox’s and Cirrus’s bodies begin to emit a glow and the two felt sothing click inside of them.
As Cirrus’s body dims down Nox’s wasn’t, Fels and Ouranos watched as the light on her grew brighter and brighter until a flash filled the room.
After the flash, what remained was Nox in her human form. She quickly covers herself in the cloak Cirrus dropped, barely covering her.
“Ah~ to have limbs again!” Nox said as she stretched.
“It would seem the contract is finished, unknown Spirit.”
“L-lord Ouranos! Cirrus! Who is this!!” Fels shouted.
“She’s a spirit I freed and made a contract with,” Cirrus said, still kneeling.
Fels looks up at Ouranos as he finished up.
“It is true Fels. He even gained a skill to show for it.” Ouranos hands Cirrus the paper.
“A skill?”
Cirrus looks at his update in amazent.

“Cirrus, who is this…” Fels looks at Nox up and down.
“Her na is Nox,” Cirrus said as he approaches her.
“Nox…” said Fels.
“The Spirit of the White Night.” Said Ouranos. “One of Nyx’s spirits from the Age of Hero’s… I had thought the other god’s spirits had wiped your generation out?”
“Fufu, well, they rely sealed with a seal ant for monsters.” She said with a puffed-up chest.
“Nox, could you turn back into an owl? I need to get you so clothes.”
“At least let enjoy so ti to stretch my legs!”
“… I don’t know what to feel about this…” Fels sounds a bit conflicted.

“Coming!” a bright light enveloped her, and she turns back into an owl carrying Cirrus’s cloak.
