Hestia was the first to shake it off. Her expression grew serious as she spoke.
"Don’t you all think that skill is suspicious?"

Her words triggered imdiate alarm among the group.
"That skill definitely wasn’t created for Bell’s promotion."
Freya spoke with certainty. She was sure the skill wasn’t sothing ant for ascension. "For Bell to promote, he needs to break away from the restrictions of the Falna System. Promotion requires a complete severance."
Not a transfer.

"Renouncing the clan isn’t sothing you decide lightly. It ans abandoning everything the Falna created. In other words, severance causes all Falna-derived power to return to nothing."
"Rarely, so severed adventurers have rejoined a familia. But once they do, even if the divine imprint is reapplied, the only thing that remains on their Status sheet is the proficiency of their basic abilities."
Freya’s frown softened a little at Loki’s explanation. The parts Loki didn’t ntion—skills and Magic—were clearly understood.
"Skills and Magic get erased too?"
"Yes."
Loki nodded, rembering the "regret" ntioned in those old records.
"That adventurer had exceptional talent. It’s a pity they chose severance instead of conversion. If they had converted, they might have made a na for themselves."
"That’s exactly how the records described it."
The tone in the writing carried regret, clearly mourning that adventurer’s choice.
The records never explicitly stated that the severed adventurer had Magic or Skills, but the implication was obvious—they did.
Severing the Falna ca with a cost, and it was far higher than most imagined.
"Magic and Skills are the price of severance. But levels and ability scores do remain."
Artemis and Hestia remained silent, but Hephaestus sighed helplessly.
"Even if levels and ability scores remain, they’re aningless. Unless soone is like the ’Transcendent Novice,’ the gap left by losing Magic and Skills is sothing no ordinary child can withstand."
Hephaestus wasn’t wrong. Severed adventurers were practically crippled. Retaining level or Status made little difference—they were rely less crippled than total cripples.
Although it was a pity for those who had severed before, having such clear information now confird Bell’s previous predictions. And it proved his choice right. The erasure of Magic and Skills posed no real problem; it was all part of the expected plan.
"In that case, the cost of severance won’t have much impact on Bell."
Freya didn’t care about how steep the price was. For Bell, severance was simply the ritual that completed his break from the Falna System. Losing Skills and Magic only ant the break was clean and thorough.
For Bell, Magic and Skills were useless anyway. The only thing that mattered was preserving his ability scores. Hestia nodded in deep agreent.
Since severance would hardly affect Bell, the severance ritual could be placed before his promotion ceremony.
But then she suddenly paused.
"Freya, do you think that skill might have already taken effect?"
Freya imdiately understood which skill she ant.
"If that skill wasn’t made for Bell’s promotion, but had already triggered before... and is still affecting sothing now... then the only possibility is the thing Bell created."
It was the only explanation.
But if that were the case, things beca strange.
"If so, then why did the skill only appear now? Shouldn’t it have appeared back then?"
Hestia couldn’t explain it either.
"I... don’t know."
Freya, however, didn’t seem particularly bothered. After thinking for a mont, she concluded the discussion.
"That’s enough about the skill."
"Whether it was ant to trigger Bell’s hesitation, or it already activated, this topic ends here. Whatever the reason, the skill has already lost its function and no longer holds any value."

After a brief silence, the other four goddesses accepted Freya’s proposal.
If the skill had already activated, then its relevance was gone.
If it hadn’t activated, then it likely never would.
Either way, it was pointless to dwell on it.
"But Loki, can your kid really keep up?"
Freya wasn’t too worried about Bell. In this entire plan, the biggest variable wasn’t him—it was Loki’s child.
"She can."
Loki’s tone held absolute confidence. Ais now had a clear goal, and for that goal, Ais would push herself with everything she had.
"That child is far more stubborn than people think."
"When she was alone, she would direct her hatred at any Monster she encountered. Now, she’s even more determined."
