"This growth rate... 750? That’s way too fast..."

Loki let out a delighted whistle. Ais’s growth wasn’t just fast—it was the biggest surprise she could’ve hoped for.
’Looks like Bell’s theory about exploiting the Falna system really does work.’
Still, such a thod didn’t apply to just anyone.
Only adventurers with enough talent and strength to handle stronger Monsters could take advantage of this sort of "cheat."
Seeing Ais’s results, Loki felt so of the tension in her chest ease.

Right now, the most important thing for Bell was securing the Excelia needed to halt growth at the right mont.
Back in the "Heroic Era," such deeds weren’t hard to co by.
That era had too many overwhelmingly strong adventurers. When they ford parties, the weaker mbers shared the risks... and shared the greatness of their deeds. Even divided among many, those achievents were enough to push countless adventurers into the realm of Lv.7.

All the top adventurers had died challenging the Black Dragon, leaving behind only newcors—those who hadn’t yet grown, many of whom might never get the chance to grow at all.

It was the sort of scene any god, any mischief-lover, or any woman would be delighted to witness.

Still smiling, Loki gently pressed down the curve of her lips. That was the greatest challenge for gods—whenever sothing truly interesting happened, it was nearly impossible to hide their excitent.
Loki shifted her attention to the new skill, "Challenger."
"Riveria, what you should be looking at is the description of the new skill."
Riveria’s unfocused gaze slowly regained clarity as she looked toward the skill Loki had indicated.
"Challenger..."
"’Challenge successful, increased experience gained’... This—this kind of skill that boosts gained experience is extrely rare."
Riveria swore this was the first ti she had ever seen such an irregular skill.
The courage boost, stamina boost, defense boost, stamina recovery—those she could still accept.
But increasing the Excelia gained after a challenge... that was sothing she simply couldn’t.
"This skill really is..."
"Too special?"
"...Yes."
A skill that directly increased gained Excelia wasn’t simply special anymore. Aside from Bell, Riveria doubted all of Orario held another adventurer with sothing stranger.
She was shocked—and worried. Ais awakening such a skill ant trouble as well.
But Loki didn’t share her view.
"No matter how special it is, it’s still nothing compared to his."
"Skills that add extra Excelia are indeed rare, but aside from that, this one isn’t particularly outrageous."
"Riveria, don’t forget the condition written above."

Riveria suddenly realized—the skill had a clear restriction.
"Challenge successful."
Loki nodded slightly, amusent flickering in her eyes.
"Beco a challenger and face a strong enemy. Only by defeating a powerful foe do you receive the special reward. Only the victor gets everything. It’s a reward built on the foundation of winning."
"And the ’strong enemy’ Ais is facing right now? Hmph—this only speeds up her growth a little, that’s all."
Loki casually asured a tiny gap with her fingers.

"But I’ll admit, Ais-tan fits this skill perfectly."

Loki’s smile returned.

Ais had long been prepared for this mont.
She had spent the past three months working solely toward this goal.
"Good. Then let’s begin."
With this level up, Ais would beco the fourth Level 7 in the Loki Familia.
In any other situation, it would be sothing worth grand celebration.
Unfortunately, the current circumstances were terrible. Loki Familia couldn’t afford to draw more attention, so the celebration would have to wait.
Loki felt a pang of regret, but still offered her suggestion:
"Ais-tan, let’s hold your celebration banquet when you reach Level 8."
Ais wasn’t particularly concerned about celebrations. What she cared about more was whether she’d live to see that day arrive.
And the celebration wouldn’t just be for her advancent—it would be for successfully rescuing her parents.
But that was still a secret. Ais had no intention of revealing it now.
So she simply nodded.
"Mm. We’ll talk about it when the ti cos."
