Divine eting
The fucker just grinned before falling flat on his face as he relaxed and his injuries caught up to him while his transformation ended. I just chuckled at that and looked at the crowd that had gathered.
"Anyone got a mana potion to spare? Freya would chew into my ass if I let her golden boy die." I asked and like four people reached into pouches at their waists without a word and handed over potions. "Much appreciated." I said as I downed a potion causing my cursed energy to start refilling rapidly.
I limped over to Ottar and casually kneeled in the pool of blood beneath him and rest my hand on his exposed back. Using my RCT slowly I began to restore his body while making sure not to use more energy than I was regenerating. Once I was certain he wouldn't die from bleeding out I moved my focus from his potentially fatal injuries to regrowing his nose that was missing. Perhaps he wouldn't mind the disfigurent but I wasn't such an asshole I'd force him to accept it when I could easily fix the damage.-
Once he was good to go I used my cursed technique to gather all of our blood and chunks of flesh before incinerating it with my hellfire. I didn't want to leave anything for soone to potentially fuck us over using later. Strange DS's like curse and hex existed after all and their was no telling if soone could voodoo doll our asses using bits of us left over. Still I was quite happy with the outco of this admittedly savage spar of ours. I lost but that was always sothing I expected to happen. -
Ottar was not on the lower end of seven after being there for so many years and if anything was probably sitting pretty towards the top of the level. The fact I could even scrap with him by cheating ant I should be just barely level seven in terms of power. In a straight up deathmatch I'd win since my cursed technique would render him clay under my touch but if we weren't trying to kill each other he wins. So I would say we were fairly equal at the mont all things considered, not a bad place to be if I do say so myself. -
Of course I had to work on fully fixing myself as I waited for the big guy to wake up since i'm absolutely not leaving him here unattended or carrying his ass bad. Are you kidding ? That's ten fucking miles and this guy was NOT light. Yeah yeah I know I could probably juggle his ass if I wanted to but the point still stands. Didn't need to wait long thankfully as the guy grunted awake about ten minutes later. He gracelessly rolled over onto his back before sitting up with a content expression.-
"I patched you up while you were out so Freya doesn't chew my ass out. Don't ask for another round though as theres no point. I'm not strong enough to match you yet so you'll need to wait a bit till our next sparring session." I said casually.
"I will train while I wait." he said with a nod.
"I suggest soloing Balor if you can. It shouldn't take too much longer to catch up to the current you so I suggest you push yourself unless you want to be surpassed." I said with a confident grin.
"Understood." he said with a firm look.
As expected the piper ca a calling shortly after Hestia pushed through the news of my double level up to the guild and the rumors of my spar with Ottar ripped through the city like a typhoon. Within hours there was not a single person who didn't know I went toe to toe with Ottar to the point we both looked like ground beef afterwards. Honestly I don't think the gods have ever convened an ergency denatus so fast before. They had serious doubts that there wasn't sothing wrong with now and more than a few were nervous about the idea of a new "King" showing up.-
Hestia was nervous of course since she knew exactly what was on my status but I reassured her that it would work out fine. I didn't bother wearing a shirt to cover my torso when we walked into the denatus hall with all of the gods there imdiately ogling . The conversations comnting on the large changes to the tattoos on my body started imdiately with more than a few goddesses blushing with heated cheeks at my sculpted form. I didn't mind though as they were free to get as much of an eyeful as they wished.-
Hers walked out to stand confidently before all the gods here. "My fellow gods we have for the second ti in recent mory co together to investigate the sa mortal for unusual feats. As before I will observe the status of the mortal in question and deliver justice if there is indeed a problem." he said loudly with his voice carrying across the chamber.
"Before that though a few bits from the "accused" I said derailing his whole flow without any sha. "First I achieved all I have through legitimate ans." I said causing Hers face to darken as he no doubt realized I had just cleared my na since none of the gods lie detection mojos were going off.
"Second I will need god Hers to swear on his arcaenum not to disclose the details of my status regardless of it's unusualness so long as I have done nothing truly wrong before he looks at it." I said with grin at Hers.
"You are not in a position to demand anything of ." Hers said with a glare.
"On the contrary, as I have already proven my innocence having you double check is rely curtesy at this point. You either will take that oath and peek under the hood or you won't and this eting will end since theres no more point for us to be here." I said bluntly.
"Just take the oath already Hers!" One god called out followed by another and another until it seed the whole divine host was in agreent that he should do it while Hers himself looked about ready to punch my grinning face.
