Remaking(2)
Once the general shape of the weapon was made I stood up and walked over to the chest at the side of my workshop that held my magic stones, both empty and not. I humd as I perused my collection before settling on a minotaur stone filled with cursed energy and a minotaur stone that was empty. The two stones were roughly the size of my thumb and about half an inch wider. I took them over to my chair and sat down before activating my cursed technique again. The stones deford as I carefully molded them into a odd set of springs that spiraled together into a sphere the size of a plum.-
Neither stone was actually fused to the other however which was important because of what ca next. I held the spring-orb firmly and switched my energy from negative to positive before carefully filling the previously empty stone with the stuff. This created an oddly eye pleasing design in the orb as the two stones, one with negative cursed energy and one with positive, coiled around the other in a harmonious contrast of colors.-
With this done I went back to negative energy and activated my technique again to open up the round poml of the unfinished weapon to accept this dual natured "core". Once it was secured firmly within the hard alloy material I paused to clear my mind for a mont and plan out EXACTLY how I wanted to do this..
'The hamr head for positive energy or negative? Hmm, on one hand it would give more surface area for the ice and erasure but on the other I'd prefer to have that for the creation and fire side of things. How annoying.' I thought with a frown.
Indeed I wanted to ambitiously split my two different energy aspects to opposing sides of my weapon for better utility while I was in a fight. I wasn't stupid enough to not understand that at so point using my hands as the dium by which I utilize my techniques was bound to be discovered. At that point it would be odd if my enemies let my hands get anywhere near them to the point so may prefer getting hit by my weapon instead. Also losing my weapon because I used RCT was sort of annoying and I wanted to fix that.-
In a manner of speaking I wanted to turn my weapon into a sort of extension of myself in my techniques eyes so that I wouldn't have to make a new weapon each ti I needed to use RCT. The trick was making it so that both my RCT and normal cursed technique could be used on the weapon without fucking it up hence the need to split the two energy types to one side or the other. If I could use both at the sa ti like Gojo I wouldn't need to do this but as I couldn't this was the next best option.-
The trick was that I couldn't "attune" both sides to be able to alternate between the two types of energy so I had to shunt each one to the opposite head of my new weapon. The ideal arrangent would be the ice and creation aspects of my power being on the hamr head side of the weapon and the fire and erasure being on the other but again that wasn't viable so it was pro and con ti. In the end I chose to put my RCT abilities on the axe head side and my normal ones on the hamr.-
My main reason for this choice was that if I coated the edge of my axe head with the erasure power it might as well be considered the sharpest thing EVER. Seriously an atom thin line of erasure would likely an I cut through literally anything like it was hot air or at the very least guarantee a wound if I so much as graze my target. I could also use my ice to keep my target from bleeding to death as I freeze the wound shut in the off chance I need to amputate a limb off soone.-
With this in mind I started weaving a dense tapestry of restrictions together to create the tool I was after. Once that was done I connected the cursed technique matrix to the positive energy and negative energy stones as needed and hoped to hell that the damn thing didn't explode. The technique struggled at first but once the flow of energies was stabilized throughout the entire thing it settled down to a dull hum that also eventually quieted. I wasted no ti at all testing my new weapon by sending in cursed energy first that flowed to the correct side without any extra work from and then positive energy that did the sa for the opposite side.-
I then moved on to practical testing and used RCT to see if the weapon could withstand it now, it could.
'Wonderful! Now I just need to replace the rest of my equipnt that had been destroyed, with upgrades!' I thought with a grin.
As promised I spent a whole day after that doing absolutely nothing which was my deal with my goddess in exchange for the day I spent crafting my new weapon. Speaking of I should ntion that it weighed easily as much as a person which was hell on my wrist but not unreasonable considering my superhuman abilities.-
Montum was kinda a bitch to deal with when I swung it though and I had to repair the damage that strain caused more than a few tis in the next weeks worth of ti that I practiced with it. During this ti I also managed to replace my helm/mask though this ti using better materials and with a new white and black swirl pattern on the blank part that covered my eyes.-
It otherwise looked the sa as the one I lost as far as appearance was concerned. As an added bonus that black and white swirl was apparently unnerving as shit to look at which was great. Anything that made things hesitate to try and attack was a plus in my book. Not having visible eyes was already unnerving but having a contrasting spiral in their place? Downright paranoia inducing according to Daphne. Still I can't say as I wasn't happy with this outco despite the complaints it earned .
