Facing the teasing from the two elders, Zhu Fei actually nodded and squinted with a smile, "Yes, it really felt great. Next ti if you two have a chance, you might also give it a try."

Zhu Fei’s response instantly made Song Yan and Mr. ng start, and then they began to smile wryly.

They realized that Zhu Fei was indeed angry about the earlier incident.

Otherwise, Zhu Fei would not have said such words.

"Cough cough..."

Mr. ng imdiately coughed a few tis, then with a bitter smile, he said to Zhu Fei, "Zhu Fei, let’s drop the matter, don’t take it too much to heart."

Suddenly seeing Mr. ng’s attitude towards Zhu Fei, a look of surprise flashed in Qiu Ruoxue’s eyes.

Earlier on, she had been surprised to find out that Zhu Fei not only knew Song Yan but also seed to have so relationship with Mr. ng.

But what she certainly didn’t expect at the mont was to see the usually dignified Mr. ng showing such a gentle side towards Zhu Fei.

However, what Mr. ng said next truly sent a shock through Qiu Ruoxue’s heart.

Mr. ng paused slightly, then continued with a bitter smile, "In fact, those two boys are not Elder Qiu’s biological children; they are the children of Elder Qiu’s fallen comrade."

"Elder Qiu’s comrade died saving him, and on his deathbed, he entrusted the two boys to Elder Qiu. The boys, having heard sowhere else, wrongly believed that it was Elder Qiu who caused the death of their biological father."

"So, over these years, they’ve been opposing Elder Qiu in every way, and they’ve also been uneducated and often caused trouble for Elder Qiu."

"Elder Qiu, out of respect for his old comrade, has been tolerating them, and even when he punished them, it was always leniently."

With this, Mr. ng also sighed softly, earnestly saying to Zhu Fei:

"I know that the actions of those two boys may have inadvertently caused you to misunderstand Elder Qiu. I’m telling you this in hopes that you can be more forgiving and not hold any real bias against him."

"Whew..."

After listening to Mr. ng’s heartfelt explanation, Zhu Fei finally let out a long sigh.

To be honest, the actions of the Qiu brothers had indeed caused Zhu Fei to form so opinions about the still-unt Elder Qiu.

After all, if the children are untaught, it is the father’s fault.

Sotis, to understand a person, one does not need to look too hard; just by observing the people around them, one can infer a person’s character.

Birds of a feather flock together is indeed a truth.

If Elder Qiu’s sons were truly of such character, Zhu Fei would subconsciously think that Elder Qiu must not be a good man either.

Perhaps Zhu Fei would still treat Elder Qiu’s illness for the sake of Qiu Ruoxue and his own prior commitnt.

But he would certainly not put his heart into it, and he might just ensure Elder Qiu’s survival and no more.

As for whether Elder Qiu would relapse after that, Zhu Fei really wouldn’t care much.

But now, after listening to Mr. ng’s explanation.

His slight bias against Elder Qiu disappeared completely, and he even began to respect Elder Qiu.

The reason was simple: how many people, faced with children who are not their own, can show such tolerance and forgiveness?

Moreover, those two non-biological sons were also constantly opposing him, and even misunderstanding him.

If Mr. Qiu were not a man of great integrity and affection, valuing promises, given his status and position, he probably would have had nothing to do with those two rascals, right? Would he still have raised them as his own? Would he continuously clean up the sses they made?

Stop joking.

You know, the debt of saving a life and the debt of raising soone are almost equivalent; Mr. Qiu really didn’t owe them anything anymore.

So, in the next mont, Zhu Fei took the initiative and sincerely said to Mr. ng, "Thank you, Mr. ng, for clarifying things. If there’s nothing else, let’s go see Elder Qiu. The sooner I treat him, the sooner he can recover."

Hearing Zhu Fei say this, Mr. ng and Song Yan exchanged a look and finally breathed a sigh of relief.

They had indeed been worried, worried that Zhu Fei would take out his anger on Elder Qiu because of the Qiu family’s two useless young n.

Fortunately, from Zhu Fei’s current deanor, it seed that the misunderstanding between him and Elder Qiu had finally been resolved.

Mr. ng nodded and replied with a smile, "That sounds good, only..."

As he spoke, Mr. ng’s eyes involuntarily glanced at the soldiers lying on the ground, his expression slightly hesitant.

Zhu Fei knew what he ant and couldn’t help but smile, saying to Zhang Quan and Zhou Tao, who had just stood up not far away,

"Both of you, I suppose the Prohibition on you must have disappeared by now? If it’s not too much trouble, could you remove the silver needles from those n? I believe they will return to normal shortly."

At this point, Zhang Quan and Zhou Tao had no inconvenience whatsoever; they imdiately responded with a clasped fist to Zhu Fei, nodding that there was no problem.

With that, the commotion finally ca to an end.

However, as they walked toward the sanatorium, Qiu Ruoxue’s expression fluctuated.

Clearly, what Mr. ng had just revealed had still had a significant impact on her.

Zhu Fei, seemingly aware of her thoughts, smiled and whispered in her ear, "What are you thinking about? You seem so engrossed."

However, before Qiu Ruoxue could respond, Zhu Fei continued, "Regardless, those two had once hurt you. How you used to deal with them before, you should continue to do so. I believe your grandfather, once he knows, won’t bla you."

Upon hearing Zhu Fei’s whisper, Qiu Ruoxue was initially startled, then as if understanding sothing, she turned her head and smiled, nodding at Zhu Fei.

"Yes, I understand now, Zhu Fei. Thank you."

Indeed, what had been troubling Qiu Ruoxue was how she should face those two "uncles" once her grandfather woke up.

After all, the fathers of those two "uncles" had once saved her grandfather’s life.

Would her grandfather be upset if she continued to treat them as she had before?

But after Zhu Fei’s reminder, she realized sothing.

Her grandfather’s generation was his own business; his tolerance towards Qiu Tianming and the others was because of the promises and sentint he once held.

If they kept hurting her now, she might not genuinely be able to continue treating them as her "uncles."

Besides, her grandfather had not been unkind to them either, and by a certain perspective, he no longer owed them anything.

She believed that once her grandfather knew what they had done to her, he would surely stand by her side.

Their current actions had probably crossed her grandfather’s bottom line, and even if she held grievances against them, her grandfather would likely understand.

Thinking this, Qiu Ruoxue couldn’t help but smile unconsciously.

She turned her head and sneakily glanced at Zhu Fei, suddenly feeling sothing extra in her heart, which made her cheeks inadvertently flush.

Quietly shaking her head, she stopped pondering and instead followed Zhu Fei and the others into the sanatorium.
