Zhu Fei coughed twice, unable to suppress a bitter smile as he countered.
However, after posing the question, Zhu Fei apparently had no intention of waiting for Ji Xuanyue’s reply; his expression turned solemn, and with utmost seriousness, he said to Ji Xuanyue:

But very quickly, it seed she realized sothing. Her pretty face beca slightly pale as she exclaid, "When you went out just now, did Li Chengtian and his people co looking for you? No wait...!"
She cut herself off and shook her head, murmuring to herself, "If they had found you, they certainly wouldn’t have let you co back, unless...?"
Ji Xuanyue looked at Zhu Fei with a mix of alarm and suspicion, only to see Zhu Fei respond with a wry smile and a nod.

Finally, Ji Xuanyue took a long breath, her eyes sparkling as she looked at Zhu Fei, "Zhu Fei, you managed to do this? You’re impressive."
"Can I take what you just said as a complint?" Zhu Fei asked with a wry smile, touching his nose.
"Hehe, what do you think?" Ji Xuanyue smiled back with a question and imdiately addressed the flying shuttle’s Contract Spirit without waiting for Zhu Fei’s reply, "Senior Liu Guang, let’s head to Tai State."
"Alright, that’s possible." The flying shuttle’s Contract Spirit, nad Liu Guang, had just answered when he intended to delve into the void, preparing for spatial travel.
But just at that mont, a wave of spatial fluctuation suddenly ca from the space ahead.
Imdiately, space abruptly tore open, and two figures erged abruptly from the void, blocking the path of the flying shuttle, one in front of the other.
It was Chu Longtian and another man in green robes, both wearing a playful look as they eyed Zhu Fei and Ji Xuanyue.
Chu Longtian even mocked, "How is it? You two, having just killed my junior from the Ghost Sword Sect, think you can just leave like that? Isn’t that a tad naïve?"
No sooner had Chu Longtian finished speaking than the green-robed man beside him imdiately added,
"Indeed, Zhu Fei. According to our investigation, the murderer of our young master in the Multi-treasure Xuantower should be you, no? How about it? Isn’t it ti you gave us Wind God Valley an explanation?"
