Looking at the white-haired ogre standing in the distance, Lefiya and the others couldn't help but tremble. The dazzling, colorful magic stone and the lower body, the sa yellowish-green color as his eyes—everything indicated that the person before them was no longer human.
"How is this possible!" Asfi shouted in horror. Not just her, but even the mbers of the Hers Familia beside her felt imnse panic. Was this enemy human? Or a monster that mimicked a human form? The nausea building in her stomach surged into her throat, and Lefiya asked with difficulty, "What exactly are you?"
The white-haired ogre looked down at everyone in shock and loudly declared, "I am an existence that combines the power of humans and monsters, a supre being!"
Looking at the white-haired ogre, who was strangely different from before, Shirou instantly understood that he was stalling for ti. Even if the severe injuries Bete inflicted on him earlier had healed, it would take a while. He was using words to buy himself ti. But Shirou didn't imdiately expose his intentions. The current white-haired ogre was perfect for understanding their objective. Shirou needed information.
"What is this place? What do you plan to do here?" Shirou asked.
The white-haired ogre crazily responded, "This is a nursery."
"By having giant Piranha Plants reside here, they continuously give birth to Piranha Plants."
"In other words, you're using this as a transfer station to breed deep-level monsters here and then transport them to the surface." Shirou's voice was sharp. So, Piranha Plants were deep-level monsters. But what intrigued him more was the concept of using monsters to breed monsters.
Monsters are born from the Dungeon. This was an undeniable truth among adventurers. The Dungeon is the mother of monsters. This was a truth even the gods recognized. But now, that truth had been broken.
"What is your purpose?" Shirou demanded.
"To destroy the Labyrinth City Orario!" The white-haired ogre, with arms stretched out as if wanting to embrace the world, loudly declared his objective. Everyone present was shaken by this declaration. Gasps filled the air, and so even trembled.
"Do you know what you're saying?" Lulune asked in horror. Orario was a massive city built directly above the Dungeon. It also acted as the Dungeon's breakwater. This ancient fortress and the Babel Tower, which served as a lid, had long blocked the massive hole underground, preventing monsters from invading the surface. Orario was humanity's last bastion. The collapse of Orario would signify the resurgence of the ancient conflict between humans and monsters.
"Of course I understand!" The white-haired ogre responded, pride evident in his voice. "I am destroying this city by my own will, and it's all for her!"
"Can't you hear her? She said she wants to see the sky!" The ogre pointed at the fetus inside the jewel embedded in the quartz pillar, passionately crying out. Just as he was about to continue his monologue, Shirou directly interrupted him.
"Alright, that's enough. I don't want to hear the rest; it's probably useless information." Shirou projected dual swords, his eyes filled with killing intent as he glared at the white-haired ogre, who had a pained expression after being interrupted. "The information I wanted has been obtained. It's ti to send you to your grave! If I wait any longer, your injuries will heal!"
"Hmph, you should have made your move earlier!" Bete, who had already seen through the white-haired ogre's tactics, was growing impatient. After all, he had just tried to kill the opponent with killing intent, only for the ogre to survive. Bete wasn't going to let that humiliation slide.
Just as Shirou and Bete were about to resu their fight, two figures suddenly broke through the at wall and entered the large cavern.
"Revis!"
"Ais!" The newcors were Revis and Ais. Sensing their respective companions, they both moved to their sides.
Looking at Ais, whose light armor was full of cracks, Shirou quietly asked, "How are you?"
"No problem!" Ais replied, taking the elixir offered by Shirou and gulping it down to recover her stamina. On the other side, Revis, whose injuries were clearly more severe, knelt on the ground, panting heavily.
"Not a match, Revis?"
"Aria's abilities have sublimated; she has reached LV.6!"
"Is that so? Then this is even more troubleso!" Shirou thought, his own disadvantage already clear. Now, with an additional LV.6 Sword Princess in the mix, the situation was getting increasingly dangerous!
The heavy panting gradually subsided. Looking at the giant Piranha Plant, which was now one less, and the white-haired ogre's rapidly healing body, Revis's eyes filled with an unusual expression. "A crisis?" Placing her hand on the white-haired ogre's shoulder, she leaped backward with him, increasing their distance from Shirou and the others. Ais, who originally thought the opponent wanted to escape, was about to pursue when she saw them land again, turning back to look at her.
"Are we retreating, Revis?" Ais asked.
"No, I still want to try!"
"?" Before anyone could react to Revis's words, the white-haired ogre felt a hand plunge into his chest.
"You're doing this?" The ogre looked at Revis with suspicion and disbelief. He never imagined she would attack him.
"Why?"
"Of course, for power, to defeat Aria!" Revis calmly said, her erald green eyes locking onto the white-haired ogre. "The current is no match for Aria. No matter how many magic stones I consu, the power increase will not be as strong as consuming your magic stone."
Puchi! Pulling her arm out of the white-haired ogre's chest, Revis slowly put the blood-soaked magic stone into her mouth.
"Don't even think about it!" Ais shouted, recovering from the horror of witnessing cannibalism. She quickly charged toward Revis.
"Stop her, giant Piranha Plant!"
"Ooooh!" The giant Piranha Plant, sensing Ais's approach, imdiately moved its body, blocking the space between Ais and Revis.
"Don't hinder !"
"Awaken!" Ais shouted, her sword glowing with an intense storm-like fury. She unleashed a powerful strike, cutting through the giant monster that obstructed her path. The creature was instantly cut down, with no chance to struggle. This was the power of the Loki Familia's princess, the Sword Princess Ais Wallenstein.
Leaping over the monster's corpse, Ais continued to charge forward, but it was too late. After swallowing the white-haired ogre's magic stone, the greatly strengthened Revis also leaped from behind. The two clashed swords in mid-air before separating again. Looking at Ais, who was enveloped in wind, Revis clenched her fist, feeling the impact of their earlier clash.
"Evenly matched? No, I'm a little weaker, but not unable to fight!"
"But before that!" Revis's eyes were filled with apprehension as she looked back at Shirou and the others. Especially Shirou—this person was extrely dangerous. She needed to stall them, to create space for the battle between herself and Aria. The plan to transport monsters to the surface had probably failed. In that case, she would make good use of their last bit of value!
"Giant Piranha Plants! Keep growing! Until you wither from exhaustion, squeeze out all your power!"
