"Truly a miraculous work."

As the God of Craftsn, Hephaestus's authority over forging was absolute. His judgnt carried weight no mortal could challenge. In myth, he had created the bronze giant Talos and molded Pandora from clay with his own hands. Yet even so, none of those creations were weapons capable of transforming into human form.

That was a miracle even he could not accomplish.

Because of that, the existence of Little Rimuru appeared to him as sothing bordering on the impossible.

"Thank you for the complint!"

Little Rimuru's birth had not been the result of Shirou Emiya's efforts alone, but he accepted the praise without hesitation. For a craftsman, recognition from the God of Craftsn himself was the highest honor imaginable.

"I never thought I would encounter a craftsman like you in the human world," Hephaestus said, his tone carrying genuine interest. "So you ca seeking to refine your forging techniques even further?"

"That's right."

Shirou Emiya did not conceal his intent. His voice was calm, direct.

"With human techniques alone, no matter how refined, forging divine artifacts is impossible. The gap between man and god is an insurmountable chasm."

He paused briefly, then continued.

"Therefore, I need your power. Only by obtaining it can I complete the transformation of my techniques."

"From human techniques to divine artistry."

"That is my goal."

Seeing the seriousness in Shirou Emiya's eyes, Hephaestus suddenly let out a deep, hearty laugh.

"Hahaha! To think such an existence would appear among our enemies."

His laughter echoed through the space between them.

"I once descended upon this land before. In the eyes of those Godslayers, all I ever saw was greed for power. Nothing more."

Hephaestus looked directly at Shirou Emiya.

"To slay gods for the sake of forging techniques alone... you are truly the first."

The laughter faded, replaced by excitent that burned in his eyes.

"I acknowledge you, Godslayer."

"Though our positions demand that we fight," he continued, voice steady, "if I fall here, I will grant you a gift beyond Authorities."

"I'll look forward to it."

Shirou Emiya t his gaze without flinching.

He withdrew the staves from his hands, replacing them with the Rimuru Bow strapped across his back. His intention was clear. Facing this Heretic God who recognized his path as a craftsman, Shirou intended to show him everything.

"Open your eyes wide, God of Craftsn."

"These are all my works."

"Though they are imitations, every one of these weapons was forged by my own hands."

"Welco to the world of weapons."

"Reality Marble-Unlimited Blade Works."

Holding the Rimuru Bow high, an enormous surge of Juryoku erupted from Shirou Emiya's body. The power spread outward, gnawing at reality itself, eroding the world around them.

Hephaestus offered no resistance.

The next instant, he stood within the world of weapons alongside Shirou Emiya.

"This is...!"

Weapons filled his vision in every direction. Countless blades, spears, and armants stretched to the horizon beneath a pale sky.

Even Hephaestus inhaled sharply.

"You replicated the weapons of heroes throughout history... then forged them one by one as projections?"

He turned slowly, eyes shining.

"No wonder a craftsman like you exists in the human world."

"In terms of forging experience, no 'human' can surpass you."

"Right?"

"That's right."

Snow fell silently from the white sky.

Shirou drew a long sword and stepped forward, his footsteps crunching softly.

"These weapons are the result of my accumulation, forged step by step since the ti I was weak."

"The process of gathering information on them was the process of my own growth."

He stopped, gripping the sword firmly.

"But now that I have beco a Godslayer, their power is gradually falling behind."

"I'm not satisfied with that."

Holding the blade upright before his eyes, Shirou's voice remained steady.

"That's why I've been searching for you."

"I need your power. I need your techniques."

"Only then can I achieve my goal."

He lifted his gaze.

"To forge every one of them into Divine Constructs."

With a wave of his sword, the countless weapons embedded in the world responded.

They slowly rose into the air.

Shirou Emiya's eyes burned with quiet fighting spirit.

"Even if they're called counterfeits, so what?"

"I will continue forging these counterfeits."

"Until they beco the strongest weapons."

"Until they surpass their originals."

"Until they transcend all limitations."

"This is my path."

"How dazzling."

Hephaestus looked at him with open admiration.

"That fighting spirit... it shines."

"You are no counterfeit."

"Thank you."

The mont the words fell, both moved.

They charged at each other simultaneously.

The heavy iron hamr in Hephaestus's grasp collided with the holy sword in Shirou's hand. The impact sent waves of fire tearing through the air.

The clash lasted only an instant, yet in that single exchange, Hephaestus realized sothing crucial.

Shirou Emiya's close-combat skill was terrifying.

It rivaled even Ares.

At the sa ti, Hephaestus noticed sothing else.

His flas were not working.

"...Tch."

A sense of danger crept in.

"This guy is a perfect counter to ."

"He excels at close combat, which I don't."

"And my flas are useless against him?"

His thoughts raced.

"Dying by his hand wouldn't be unpleasant."

"But I can't lose this quickly."

With that decision made, Hephaestus leapt backward, retreating into the air.

In the next mont, a magnificent chariot manifested beneath his feet.

The Sun Chariot.

The very chariot Hephaestus had forged for the sun god Helios in ancient myth.

As the God of Craftsn, the divine artifacts he once created were naturally his to wield.

"A chariot, huh?"

Shirou Emiya raised his gaze.

With a single thought, the weapons within Unlimited Blade Works launched toward the sky, firing at Hephaestus from every direction.

Facing the incoming storm, Hephaestus raised his hand.

A shield appeared in his grasp.

The Aegis.

The shield forged for Zeus.

The origin of "protection" itself.

Once its power was released, the Aegis sealed off an entire side of Hephaestus's body. Even weapons imbued with the concept of severance failed to pierce it, leaving nothing but shallow marks behind.

On the opposite side, Hephaestus unleashed a relentless barrage of flas.

As the God of Craftsn, he imdiately saw through the weakness of Shirou's weapons.

Their quality.

That was the flaw.

His strategy was simple.

Destroy them before they reached him.

No matter how sharp they were, shattered weapons were aningless.

Watching Hephaestus's actions from below, Shirou Emiya clicked his tongue.

The weakness was undeniable.

Weapon durability.

It was the sa problem he had faced before.

Like when Ais first encountered the man-eating flower monster in the Dungeon.

Her enchantnt magic had been too strong. It eroded the weapons she wielded, grinding them down over ti.

Normally, she used weapons with the attribute of indestructibility.

But in that battle, she switched to sharper blades to preserve them.

And quickly broke her sword.

As a swordswoman, she lost her fighting ability almost imdiately.

Shirou Emiya was facing that sa reality now.
