’The Heavenly Demon Fox Race?’ Jas raised an eyebrow when his gaze locked onto the girl in the pink gown.

Looking at her information, he opened his eyes wide for a split second as he was surprised that she was truly strong, just as Ignis said. Then, he shifted his gaze to the elf beside her.

The elf with long white hair was as beautiful as the one from the Heavenly Demon Fox Race but more elegant and composed. She wore a white gown adorned with ornate gold designs.

’She’s also extrely strong,’ Jas comnted to himself when he checked her information.

However, when he wanted to check the old man’s information, he was shocked because he couldn’t check his information.

"System, why can’t I see his information?" Jas asked, then twitched his eyes when he watched that her little sister continued eating leisurely instead of coming toward him to apologize or sothing.

"You little brat," Jas spoke with a smile that was anything but gentle. "You’re still eating comfortably at a ti like this?"

Elara suddenly shuddered when she heard her brother’s voice. She tilted her head slowly, and when she saw Jas’ smile, she instantly jumped down and ran toward him. "Brother! You’re finally here."

At this mont, a system notification rang through his mind.

[Ding!]

[The system level is currently too low to reveal the target’s information.]

Jas ignored the system notification as he placed his palm firmly atop Elara’s head to stop her from saring food all over his clothes.

"How many tis do I have to tell you? Don’t go wandering off alone." He flicked her forehead lightly. "Finish that first."

"Ouch..." Elara rubbed the spot, puffing her cheeks in dissatisfaction.

After swallowing the last bite, she narrowed her eyes at him. "But I wasn’t alone. I was with Big Sister Lilith and her friends!"

Hearing Elara’s answer, Jas couldn’t hold himself and pinched her chubby cheek. "They could be considered as strangers, okay? What if they were bad people?"

"You said that whenever we see soone in need, such as people starving in the streets, we need to be a good person and give them food. So, Big Sister Lilith is a good person because she gave Elara delicious food." Elara pouted angrily and looked to the side, crossing her hands cutely.

Jas’ eyes twitched at such a response. He knocked her head softly because he really couldn’t be bothered with talking to this little girl anymore. "Don’t cause trouble anymore, and just stick with from now on."

"Ouch." Elara moved her hands, rubbing his head with a pitiful expression. "What if I need to go to the toilet?"

"You’ll go with Ignis." Jas picked Elara up and pinched her cheek so hard that it was stretched around. "And if you keep making trouble... I won’t bring you along next ti."

He then took out a big chicken drumstick from his inventory and stuffed it into her hand. "Now, be a good girl and stay still."

"But Elara is already full again." Elara murmured to herself and pouted unhappily but still took the drumstick and ate it slowly.

Jas rolled his eyes and shifted his gaze to the two girls that watched this in amusent.

"Your little sister is adorable." The elf comnted with a graceful smile.

The girl in the pink gown giggled. "Such a lovely little sister, I wish I had one like her."

"Forget about it. What are you two doing here in this small place?" Jas waved his hand even though he agreed with them that her little sister was really cute.

The girl in the pink gown smiled faintly. "Directly without beating around the bush, eh? Let’s introduce ourselves, there’s no need to be in a hurry."

Then, she placed a hand over her chest. "I’m Lilith, and this is Yvonne." She glanced at the elf beside her and shifted her attention to the old man, who had already closed his eyes a while ago as if he didn’t care for the things that were about to co. "As for Guardian Lu, it’s better if we pretend he isn’t here. I’m sure you understand why."

Jas nodded with an indifferent expression and started his introduction. "You can call Jas, and as you already know, this little glutton is my little sister, Elara." Jas pinched her cheek softly.

"She’s Ignis," Jas tilted his head slightly to the right and left as he continued. "And he’s Nyxrael."

"Now, let’s get back to the main topic because this little girl needs to rest properly after such a long day." Jas tapped his foot on the floor and said. "What’s soone from the Heavenly Demon Fox race and the Elf Kingdom doing here in this small, isolated place that’s not even worth ntioning out there?"

Lilith raised an eyebrow, as she was interested by the fact that Jas was able to know where they were from and his cold attitude that he gave to them after showing such a lovely side with his sister.

’This is quite botherso.’ Lilith thought to herself since they didn’t even know the whereabouts of their guardian.

However, now that Jas knew they were from the Heavenly Demon Fox race, she was certain that it must have been their guardian who inford this because with their expertise, only a few handful of people would be able to see their identities.

"If I told you we were simply traveling," Lilith said with a relaxed smile, "enjoying the ocean, and experiencing the outside world for the first ti... would you believe ?"

She shrugged lightly. "We aren’t like those maniacs who chase power day and night. That’s why, despite being talented, we’re still only at the Peak Legendary Rank."

From this explanation alone, Jas could guess a thing or two.

First, they must have suppressed their rank to the Peak Legendary Rank for so reason, and this should be related to why they were here.

Second, the geniuses in the outside world were truly monstrous, to the point that even when they suppressed their ranks, they still reached the Peak Legendary Rank at his age.

Jas wondered how strong they would be if these two didn’t suppress their ranks, as well as how strong the geniuses who were on par with them but hadn’t suppressed their strength by now.

His excitent was riling up, thinking about eting those geniuses in the future and battling them.

He decided not to attend the knight recruitnt and instead head straight to the treasure ground after discussing things with Eldric, Edmund, and the head butler.
