"How botherso~ "
Vanessa muttered first and than turned her head afterwards.
Her emotionless gaze focused on the figure of Aynz o’roth. Who with a scythe in his hand, advanced towards her and her Master.
Where, the scythe was sothing Aynz had summoned after his previous wrathful, indignant and outraged cry. It had a three ter long obsidian-black handle and a two ter wide crimson-red curved blade adorned with thin pulsating blood veins.
The scythe humd a thick brutality and a dense cruelty. It throbbed in rhythm with his steps, which were bold yet asured. His eyes were wide, full of wrath.
His presence erupting and spreading unabashedly, disregardfully and apathetically, a result of the humiliation that rocked his heart.
Even the five Inferior Greater Demons, who had actually subordinated themselves to him, and Nyra, who had willingly accepted to beco his woman, were all pushed onto their knees, imdiately. As the mountainous weight of Aynz presence sought to crush them, thoroughly.
Their knees dug into the stoned ground of the city square, which ruptured in a cobweb shape around them. The cracking sound was apparent and painful, making them grunt at the crushing suffocation and stifling suppression.
After all, it was the Aura/Presence of a Higher Greater Demon unleashed at its fullest. Even further charged by Aynz’s own fury and Demonic Energy.
Needless to say, under no circumstances could re ordinary Inferior Greater Demons ever hope to contend or even struggle against it.
Their expression went ashen within seconds with all the blood drained from their faces.
They clenched their jaws and gritted their teeths, doing every thing in their power to stand against the gargantuan pressure coming from Aynz’s presence.
Their hearts went cold with sheer trepidation, each erratic thump against their chest was a glaring reminder of the realization they had of just how big a gap was there between them and him, now.
However, they couldn’t do anything but rely grit their teeths even harder to prevent their consciousness from slipping into unconsciousness.
Only now did they fully compherend that they had already been surpassed and left behind in the dust. That they had already subordinated themselves, lowered themselves to the one who was once there equal or even weaker than them but a re few days ago, just yesterday.
The six realized that prior to now, their subconscience had actually refused to regard Aynz o’roth as a Higher Greater Demon.
Soone superior and better than them.
Additionally, as their minds and bodies began to be overwheld from the sheer pressure of Aynz’s presence. The six accepted that they had completely refused to acknowledge the harsh truth.
The undeniable reality, and were living in their own fantasies and wishful thinking.
anwhile, the presence, did not only affect those five, rather it spread to the furtherest corners of the wide city square, causing the demons observing the situation from afar to quickly flee in panic in further outward.
Which they barely managed to do, only because of the unknown aid they got which they didn’t know ca from where.
Otherwise the sudden outburst of presence from a Higher Greater Demon would’ve naturally crushed them to a bloody pulp in re instances.
Anyways, for the chaotic crowd, it did not matter how they survived; what all mattered was that they did.
"Master, I don’t understand, why are we protecting these lowly demons?
Or even preventing the problem from causing unnecessary harm, instead of simply eliminating the source of the whole problem and getting done with it?"
"Exactly, master!...
Both or Yanz Olk are perfectly capable of dealing with this arrogant and delusional Higher Greater Demon, who thinks he can get away scot-free after creating so much needless disturbance and damage in the city square."
"My pupils, first and foremost, you both should not forget that even ants have there own roles to play in a working society, that is why we are protecting them.
As for dealing with that Higher Greater Demon; for now we have been ordered to stay put and observe and not to take any actions whatsoever. And I suppose, I don’t need to enlighten you about where those orders ca from, correct."
The master responded, his tone calm and even. His gaze focused on the crowd frantically running out of the city square. He was standing on a three-storey building amongst the many bordering the square.
Moreover, he wasn’t alone, there were a total of ten Nobel Demons present there at the mont, who have all been called forth by the Sovereigns of Erythron for a reason unknown.
Well, a few of them knew and were already aware of the reason why, while the other few did not, all because of there own lacking resources and connections.
Furthermore, all these demons were standing on many different buildings bordering the square. There positions aligning with the four cardinal and intercardinal directions, while they stood there with there own subordinates or underlings.
In the wide clearing...
The while moving forward. "You worm. You’ve been showing a lot of attitude towards . And now, I’ve had enough. You have thoroughly managed to piss off."
Aynz o’roth voiced. His tone enraged, mirroring his gaze. His every stride, silent but dominant.
Suddenly, his hand flickered, his scythe ca, cleaving the flas. The motion of his swing was smooth and swift, speaking of his extre mastery over his weapon.
"Now, I’ll show you what true arrogance looks like...!"
He whispered. Yet the quiet that ca after the unleashed presence made the words thunder throughout the wide city square. Every one heard it. And every one could feel the shiver that ca along with it.
It was the public.
One which, despite being perfectly aware of the obvious danger, still couldn’t resist the urge to watch the drama. As, even from kiloters afar, they still spectated, so even going to the skies above, for an open and unobstructive view.
Whereas...
Aynz o’roth’s crimson eyes glead, a ripple spreading in the silence where even the flas blazed aquiet. As though bowing before him.
His demonic horns thrumd a dark-crimson.
Then rippled a palpable dark whisper in the space around his advancing figure, making his long black hair flutter; they were his tangible Demonic Energy waves. He took another step from the stoned ground to the molten ground.
At which point, the tumultuous blaze of bluish-black paused; an illusion.
Whereupon, ca the subsequent step, on which the flas; as if reignited anew! They swelled, flourished and enlarged with fury, and sizzled, hissed and crackled with intensity.
From the ters wide molten ground around, the flas slithered upward; coiling around his figure. And outward; enveloping the whole of him within.
Another step ca with the flas swallowing him, they encompassed him wholly, embracing him, connecting with him, coming under him, and his Will again.
As though becoming one with him yet not simultaneously.
Aynz o’roth’s core, churned.
The Demonic Energy fueling the flas. They erupted outward with a silent Boom, each one of the steps further amplifying there intensity, severity and extremity.
They grew in size, from 1.85 ters to two, from two ters to five, from five ters to ten, from ten ters to twenty and at last, from twenty ters to thirty. Eclipsing even the Teleportation Nexus standing in the middle of the square in terms of height.
In the intense bluish-black firestorm, there was no sign of Aynz left visible, all the mortal eyes could see were the flas and the flas burning endlessly.
rely the lightwaves and the heatwaves were so much, so intense and dense that every mortal demon had to use there Demonic Energy consciously to protect there eyes and themselves from it.
The eyes were squinted while the skin sizzled, making many cry and run for there lives. Yet, the flas didn’t stop in there track, despite no visible sign of the Higher Greater Demon, the firestorm itself moved forward in his sted.
"Exactly, what is this ability? That even I; a Nobel Demon am forced to defend against it, even by slightly is no small excuse. I can’t began to compherend, how devastating it would be when wielded by an actual Nobel Demon such as one myself.
How marvelous. How wondrous. How fabulous. And how envious! What a sha that I can never hope to have it yet a low-life like that shithead vagrant had it.. Tsk!... "
One of the ten Nobel Demons, cursed under his breath. His tone vindictive and resentful.
Because, from the information he had, he knew that the ignorant Higher Greater Demon was actually challenging two unknown Dukes. Even more was the fact that the current unfolding events were also being watched by four other Dukes.
There was practically nothing a lowly mortal like him could do here, let alone get his hands on that ability, which as a Fire attribute demon was beyond appealing and tempting for him.
Regardless, he quickly beca attentive and serious on watching the towering, moving and crackling flas coming to a sudden stop.
In the wide clearing...
Demon and Vanessa watched; one with an interestingly amusing gaze while the other with a boringly indifferent gaze as the flas halted in there tracks with an approximately sixty ters distance between them.
However, there attention wasn’t focused on the incandescent blaze but the man breathing in them... ... ... ... ...
