Four unknown males hovered in the dark crimson skies above Erythron. There figures concealed from the mortal eyes.
Abruptly, one of them questioned with a furrowed brow.
"Can you discern how strong and of which Ascension Phase and Rank that unknown Man and his Maid are in, Duke Zethrox Zelythron? Because I am unable to distinguish anything from both of them."
"Hm!"
The ntioned demon stared intently on the ground below.
His hands folded before his chest. His erald-dark gaze, shone while his shoulder length green hair, swayed in the cold demonic breeze of the Demon Realm.
A few seconds passed in pure silence, and only than did his mouth open. "I’m also just as clueless about them as you are, Duke Loyzon Aelythron.
However one thing on which we can absolutely agree on, is that these two demons are undoubtedly Dukes just like us, or perhaps even stronger than us. Being Grand Dukes or above!... "
Zelythron provided his own opinion. His voice, solemn. Like his expression.
Initially, when one of his subordinate, a man completely loyal and subservient to only him in the Zelythron Family, had co to inform him about the arrival of two unknown figures in Erythron.
And about there actions and possible connection with the Aelythron Family, Zethrox Zelythron had not given the topic much heed at the ti.
However, not long after, he again got the news that that sa man had actually completely healed the cripple who was once a target of his greed.
That was when he realized that the situation wasn’t as simple as it seed. Subsequently, from his subordinate, he also got every other detail about the unknown duo.
Next, he quickly contacted the other two Dukes of the Zelythron Family to discuss the matter and they also seem to know the seriousness of the issue.
As, completely healing a crippled Higher Greater Demon wasn’t sothing just anybody could do. Let alone one who was as strong as Aethrox Blazeshade. At least none of them were capable of doing that.
Which led them to the conclusion that the two unknown figures who had entered there city were atleast demons at the First Ascension Rank of the Second Phase.
aning, two unknown Dukes roaming about in there city without them knowing wasn’t sothing that they could accept. Even more so when they knew nothing about who they were or there intentions in coming to Erythron.
Which was the reason that compelled the Aelythron and Zelythron Family to forget there differences and work together.
Considering, they certainly can’t allow foreign parties with unclear motives and ambiguous intentions to move around in there city and do as they pleased.
As, for all the Sovereigns know, the unannounced arrival of the two Dukes in there city could an anything but most often than not, it would always be sothing disastrous and dangerous.
For example, if the two Duke decided to interfere in there internal politics than it won’t take long and much for the thin balance between the two families to completely collapse.
Moreover, in the current chaotic tis, one mistake, one mont of weakness, one opening was all others needed to destroy Erythron and end there legacy.
That was just how fragile the balance and order in the realm was. In actuality, the situation was even more chaotic around weaker cities like Erythron.
Ones which were governed by re Demon Dukes regardless of there numbers.
aning, without cunning, caution and intelligence, protecting a whole city from the other wolves eying them for many different and absurd reason was pretty much impossible.
And the Sovereigns of Erythron understood that entirely and perfectly, that was why they didn’t waste a second in coming to a swift and imdiate conclusion, and were already upon Demon and Vanessa after learning of there actions.
"Them being Grand Dukes isn’t sothing we can just assu when we know practically nothing about them. A Grand Duke is a lofty existence, whereas from there eccentric actions and behavior, I don’t think those two are one."
"Mnm. Duke Eeynthoz Zelythron is indeed correct, we have to understand that a Grand Duke would never allow re mortals to behave so rudely and disrespectfully towards him.
Therefore, I also can’t imagine these two being such lofty existences, however this statent of mine also becos redundant when we know that usually even Dukes wouldn’t allow mortals to behave so brazenly towards them. Like I can never see myself, allowing mortals to act before , instead I would crush them the mont they step out of line."
Aenzole Aelythron nodded. Further continuing.
"Nonetheless, aside from this male Duke’s bizarre behavior, we only know that he had sohow, by a ans beyond our comprehension, thoroughly healed a cripple back to full health.
Sothing that which none of us Dukes can ever hope to do even when we were to advance and beco Grand Dukes in so hypothetical situation."
"Indeed. It is certainly beyond to understand why such a demon would even co to Erythron? Why does he behave so unusually or enigmatically? Why did he heal a pathetic cripple of all people?
And exactly what ability did he use to achieve such an absurd feat?"
Zethrox Zelythron muttered. His hand rubbing his chin in contemplation.
His greenish-black demonic horns glowed because of concentration. "So many questions, but no answers." He muttered soundlessly.
Abruptly. "On that note... " Loyzon Aelythron started.
His voice garnering the undivided attention of the other three Dukes. "Have our people reported anything new on that cripple. Like where has he gone after getting healed or where is he hiding?"
He questioned. His tone probing. Eyes focusing on the three Dukes, one by one.
"As our only source of information on the unknown duo, we need to catch him as soon as possible. Moreover, we absolutely cannot let him escape Erythron in any case either.
Otherwise, getting ahold of him in the vast realm where he could be hiding anywhere, would beco much more difficult and challenging with each passing day."
He echoed. His voice dripping with solemnity.
"Um. I totally forgot about this issue. Guess, I’ll have to ask Eienot about it later. He should be in contact with the demons who are on the hunt for that cripple along with the subordinate families."
Aenzole Aelythron comnted.
"I don’t think you’d have to do that, Duke Aenzole Aelythron... " Eeynthoz Zelythron suddenly added.
"Hmm. What does that supposed to an?" Aenzole tilted his head. His expression confused, like the other two Dukes.
"Nothing much complicated. Just that, that crippled hybrid is unquestionably good at hiding, there is no denying that regardless, our own people are also good at finding rats such as him, that we can be assured of."
Eeynthoz Zelythron smiled contemptuously.
"Consequently, it would not be long before we get our hands on him. And when we do capture him, we would at last be able to know about exactly who this unknown duo is, from him.
About, why they have co to Erythron or what are there intentions for coming here? And answers to many other unanswered questions."
"OoH...!"
The others nodded in agreent.
Thereupon. "Needless to say, should we wait and watch or confront this man now? As he appears to be rely watching the mortals argue back and forth."
Zethrox Zelythron questioned out of the blue. His gaze waiting for the response from the other Dukes, who took a few seconds towards contemplation. There attention fixed on the ground.
"I imagine in both situations there is the absolute need towards extre caution and carefulness, because it is more than likely that those two already knows about our presence here, and they must have also caught onto our senses probing them regardless of if our assumption of them being Dukes are correct or not."
Loyzon Aelythron comnted his opinion.
"Although, we can’t be sure, but indeed, Duke Loyzon’s conclusion is the most probable case. Nonetheless, I say, we should go with the forr option. We wait and watch and observe how things unfolds. Than we take actions."
"I second, Duke Eeynthoz Zelythron suggestion." Aenzole Aelythron voiced. "Considering, despite there erratic movents in the city observed by our spies, which had no heads or tail or any other perticular aning behind it.
Still, I’m of the mind that these two should be teleporting out of Erythron soon.
Though I don’t know about there destination or exactly where they would be teleporting onto, perhaps it could be the new spatial vortex that has spawned near us or sowhere else entirely, I don’t know. However, I stand firm with my assumption otherwise I don’t see any reason why they would be coming to the city square now and would be walking towards the Teleportation Nexus.
I suppose, it could be there last destination in Erythron."
"Mmm...
If what you said helds true Duke Aenzole Aelythron, and these two unknown Dukes have indeed co all the way here, inside other Dukes territory for that unassuming Class Three Grade One portal, than that must an there is sothing very special about this newly spawned spatial vortex."
Zethrox Zelythron voiced. His mind churned. Tone going serious.
"I would suggest we should also investigate this aspect of doubt no matter how pointless and small. Considering, everything aside, if there is really so genuinely precious and invaluable thing in that portal, sothing which even compelled actual Dukes to make a move...
Than as the owner and sovereigns of the Land in which the portal exist, that sothing should only belong to us and our two families and not these outsiders."
The other three blinked in shock, understanding the gravity of the information they stumbled upon. Even if untrue, it wasn’t sothing they could simply ignore.
Imdiately, the two Dukes of the Aelythron Family, nodded: Loyzon Aelythron and Aenzole Aelythron.
"Mm. Indeed. You’re absolutely correct, Duke Zethrox Zelythron."
"I’ll imdiately arrange and send another expedition party to contact and realy this information to the younger generation of our families, which is already in that Class Three Grade One portal, exploring it."
"I’ll do the sa too." Eeynthoz Zelythron added.
"As for the findings in the portal, I think it isn’t our headache and we should instead let the Patriarchs of our Families deal with that." He suggested.
"Certainly...!" The others nodded... ... ... ... ...
