Gavin’s heart sank as he quickly said.
"Leo’s in trouble? Don’t worry, I’ll ask around."
Gabriel hung up the phone, his brow slightly furrowed.
Beside him, Eleanor Shaw asked, "Gabriel? What’s happened?"
"Julian said that Leo might be in trouble, I’ll ask around first."
Gabriel replied briefly before dialing Jas Lee’s cell phone.
Jas Lee’s phone was off, so he called the Grant Family.
The people at the Grant Family told him that Jas Lee had gone to et Damon Hawke.
Why would Jas Lee go to et Damon Hawke?
Gabriel’s expression instantly changed.
Jas Lee had always been working on his behalf.
Could it be that Damon Hawke had discovered sothing?

He hung up the phone and got up to leave.

"Eleanor, you should go ho first, I need to go to the hospital."

Damon looked at Gabriel’s cunning face and said aningfully, "I don’t know what the secret is that made him so desperate to kill, nor do I know if anyone else was behind him."

"Leo, why did you do this! Why did you kill soone? What secret were you hiding from ?"
Jas’ wife, supported by their son, ca out of the morgue, crying bitterly.
Gabriel snapped back to reality, his sinister gaze concealed.
He patted Jas Lee’s son’s shoulder, "Take heart, you can rest assured. Leo was my most reliable assistant. No matter the reason for his death, I will ensure your family is well taken care of."
Jas Lee died because of him, so he would have to provide compensation to his family.
Not just to console them, but to keep them quiet.
Hopefully, they won’t dig too deep into Jas’ death.
"Thank you, Mr. Miles."
"You’re welco, make sure to arrange Leo’s affairs well."
Gabriel nodded briefly to the two before striding away.
At this mont, his phone rang.
He took it out and glanced at it, discovering it was his son Gavin calling.
He must be calling to ask about Jas Lee’s whereabouts.
Gabriel sighed and answered the call.
"Julian."
"Dad, where’s Uncle Lee? Is he okay?"
Julian’s voice was filled with anxiety.
Gabriel did not hide anything from him: "Julian, your Uncle Lee... committed suicide."
The line fell silent, only the sound of breathing becoming slightly more urgent.
After a mont, Julian asked, incredulous, "Dad, are you joking with ? Uncle Lee committed suicide? Why would he do that?"
"Because he was cornered by Damon Hawke."
Gabriel sighed, "Julian, you should know, your Uncle Lee has always been doing my bidding. Seventeen years ago, I had him handle sothing for , and Damon Hawke has been investigating it ever since. When he traced it back to your uncle, in order to protect , he chose to take his own life."
