Chapter 486: Zoe Silverstone is a considerate girl

Joshua Clarke felt that it was indeed Zoe Silverstone’s fault.

She couldn’t accept losing and slandered Cindy Clarke.

Her elimination was fair and just.

As for the idea that Cindy cost her the job, Joshua didn’t really believe it.

After all, it wasn’t the first ti Zoe Silverstone had slandered Cindy.

Normally, Joshua shouldn’t keep Zoe Silverstone around.

But now, there’s no one else he knows who could update him on Cindy’s situation besides her.

So, Joshua said, “Please sit down. Although you and Cindy don’t get along, I hope you can tell us the truth about her situation.”

“Besides, is there any conflict that can’t be resolved? We’re all young, so it’s only natural to have so rashness. If both sides take a step back, it’ll be fine.” Joshua advised.

Zoe Silverstone sneered inwardly, thinking how easy it was for Joshua to say this.

He knew nothing about their conflict, yet he expected them to reconcile just by talking it out?

He really was speaking without experiencing the pain.

“Of course, I will tell the truth.” Zoe Silverstone said, changing the topic, “However, why don’t you contact Cindy directly and instead want to know about her through ?”

Originally, Zoe Silverstone thought that the entire Clarke family was on bad terms with Cindy.

She didn’t expect there to be a Joshua Clarke who would actually care about her.

This was not what she had expected, but it didn’t affect the outco she desired.

Weren’t Wendy Clarke and Christy Xenos still there?

Joshua’s gaze flickered with embarrassnt.

He didn’t dare to look directly at Zoe Silverstone, avoiding her gaze with a guilty expression, and said, “Cindy… had so conflicts with the family.”

Zoe Silverstone scoffed inwardly, thinking about the type of conflict that could lead to five years without returning ho, and five years without any contact with the family.

And to have them learn about Cindy’s situation through her, a competitor?

Zoe Silverstone pretended not to think about this point and didn’t say anything more.

She turned her head to look at the competition being live-stread through the iPad on the TV.

Zoe Silverstone smiled and said, “You’re watching the competition too.”

Joshua nodded awkwardly.

Taking advantage of this, Zoe Silverstone said, “Why don’t we watch the competition first, and then I’ll speak? I think, even if I talk now, you might not be in the mood to listen.”

“This way, you won’t be able to enjoy the competition, and you won’t be attentive to the news about Cindy.” Zoe Silverstone said thoughtfully.

“Alright, alright.” Joshua hurriedly agreed.

He really wanted to continue watching the competition.

During the ti Zoe Silverstone was here, he couldn’t focus on the competition and felt frustrated.

Now that he heard Zoe Silverstone’s suggestion, he quickly agreed to it.

Joshua couldn’t help but think that Zoe Silverstone seed to be a nice person.

She was considerate and understanding.

There must be so misunderstanding between her and Cindy.

Once the misunderstanding was cleared up, they’d be fine.

Since Joshua had already agreed, Wendy Clarke and Christy Xenos had no choice but to say nothing.

Furthermore, both of them were actually concerned about Cindy’s competition as well.

Zoe Silverstone then said, “So… Can I watch the competition here as well?”

“Although I lost, I still want to know the outco of the competition.” Zoe Silverstone explained.

“Sure.” Joshua, being the nice guy he was, nodded. He felt that this request was not excessive and imdiately agreed.

Wendy Clarke’s face darkened.

Why did Joshua always agree so readily!
