A knock suddenly sounded on the door and I jolted, body instantly stiffening. Nervousness churned in my stomach as I watched him gracefully rise up and cross the room. I was sitting in the Prince’s bed, the sheets around , and my hair being completely ssed up. What was currently running through her mind was clear enough.

She definitely thought that the Prince and I were sleeping together, and that thought made more mortified.

A startled squeal filled the room and when I abruptly glanced up, I was beyond taken aback by the sight before . The prince was standing behind the girl, griping around her throat as he spoke sharply.

"What are you looking at?"

Her panicked eyes darted to for a mont before she squeaked again.

"N- nothing..." she whispered fearfully, tray shaking in her grip.

After he let go of her, she dropped the tray on the table and was out in a flash. I didn’t realize I stopped breathing till the prince lifted the tray and placed it by my side. I swallowed emptily as I glanced at the tray of food then up at the prince, our eyes locking as shivers rolled down my spine just as so mories of last night briefly flashed through my mind.

"Thank you," I managed to mumble and he only nodded before returning to the couch to sit in it.

"Sorry about last night... and all of this." I whispered hesitantly, staring down at my covered legs because I was feeling too shy to et his gaze.

I waited for a response, and when he finally did, it was only a single word.

"Eat."

I tried to eat but the food tasted bitter and I knew it was my lack of appetite at work. I still felt weird, like whatever was in that tea had affected more than I even realized.

After pushing the food around in the tray, I ended up giving up, and when I glanced up, the prince was watching again.

My cheeks ward up as I averted my gaze, and then I awkwardly cleared my throat. Knowing I’ve overstayed my welco, I looked underneath the blanket and gasped on realizing that I was naked waist down.

I pointedly tried to ignore the fact that the Prince was definitely staring at as I struggled to retrieve my pants that I sighted underneath the sheets. After shifting around and shrugging it on, I carefully pushed the sheets away and shuffled to the edge of the bed.

"So sorry for the inconvenience, I’m leaving now..."

I was still speaking when he clicked his tongue, cutting off.

"You’re not leaving." He suddenly announced and I stiffened as my mouth fell open in shock as I blinked at him.

"Go take a shower instead." He said next, nodding in the direction of his bathroom. "You’ll be staying here for now, till further notice."
