Chapter 811: Chapter 508: The Curtain Falls

“A Seventh Rank Array Formation?”

“And a Termination Array at that!”

The Joyful Arhat opened his wisdom eye, his thousand eyes and hundred pupils shining in all directions, observing the Four Gates Extinction Formation constituted by Yin Yang and the Five Elents with an extrely ugly expression on his face.

His myriad of eyes were no ordinary divine power; among the Brahma Sect’s Five Eyes, it was the “Wisdom Eye” that could inspect Heaven and Earth, even the operation of the Great Dao. He was exceptionally keen on Array Formation thods, and he recognized the quality rank of the formation with a single glance.

A Seventh Rank Termination Array!

Even the Great Array that served as the defensive stronghold of the Holy Land Immortal Sects was only of this level.

...

Such an Array Formation, if operated normally, could suppress and kill a Mahayana True Immortal. If there was a Formation Master of equivalent tier manipulating it from within, even a Calamity Immortal could fall into it and struggle to escape.

Was the other party a Seventh Rank Array Formation Immortal Master?

It must be so; otherwise, how could soone set up such a Seventh Rank Termination Array right under the eyes of him and Yama, without them noticing?

Faced with this dilemma, the Joyful Arhat’s face turned ashen, yet his actions were swift. He ford a Yin-Yang Dharma Seal and, in combination with the edge of Yama’s Demon Blade, fiercely attacked their adversary.

The enemy had sealed their path of retreat with such an Array Formation; to escape, they could only fight with all their might to forge a path out. Otherwise, they would et the fate Yama had ntioned—refined to death within the formation.

A Buddha and a demon, two Calamity Venerables, launched a powerful joint assault.

However, their opponent was dauntless. With a flick of the finger, Sword Qi burst forth in a radiant display of five colors, grand like age-old mountains, bearing down with the weight of ten thousand jun, as if the skies would split and the earth would shatter.

“Bang!!!”

A loud explosion shook the heavens and earth while Yama stood frozen in space, his body resplendent with five colors and intersected by Sword Qi. The Demon Blade in his hand trembled, the armor on his body clanged mournfully. He was deeply ensnared in a perilous situation.

Fortunately, at that mont, the Joyful Arhat’s Dharma Seal pressed down; red and white light clashed with their foe, revealing a pair of Yin-Yang Precious Beads of top-grade level. When the two beads rged, they embodied the Principle of Yin and Yang, well-suited to the Joyful Arhat’s profound ways, their power not to be underestimated.

Yet…

The newcor stood motionless, wrapped in azure light, as if there were myriad lotuses within it, resisting the Yin-Yang Precious Beads, preventing them from advancing an inch.

“How can this be!?”

Although he was sowhat prepared for this, the Joyful Arhat couldn’t help but blurt out at the sight.

During this exclamation…

“Ah!!!”

A scream of agony resounded, piercingly sharp. The Five Colors Divine Light twisted, Ten Thousand Swords Qi imposed on them, and Yama couldn’t hold out any longer. He disappeared within the dazzling radiance, vanishing without a trace in the blink of an eye.

The fate of the Calamity Realm Demon Monarch was unknown, alive or dead!

Afterwards, the newcor turned back, sweeping a glance across the Joyful Arhat, making the latter’s hair stand on end.

Not only was this person a Seventh Rank Array Formation Immortal Master, but also a formidable being from the Calamity Realm. Even if he had not faced the Six Calamities, his prowess was definitely at the third or fourth level. Furthermore, he had mastered a Great Dao Divine Ability, delved profoundly into the Theory of Yin-Yang and the Five Elents. With such Divine Light in motion, combined with the Array Power, he easily subdued Yama.

In contrast, the two of them were only Robbing Cultivators, newly arrived at the Calamity Realm, with their understanding of the Great Dao yet unrefined, their Divine Powers not fully developed. Putting aside being trapped in the formation, even outside of it, they were no match for this individual.

Who was this person, and why had he co here to ruin their sches!

The Joyful Arhat, with eyes full of resentnt, still exerted all his remaining strength, fearlessly casting out his Joyful Rosary Beads.

Truly at the end of his tether!

The red and white lights violently collided, the workings of Yin and Yang clashed to the extre, like the mont of cosmic genesis when primordial Yuan Qi shattered, a reversal of Yin and Yang embodying the ultimate destructive power.

Self-detonating an Immortal Instrunt!

The Joyful Rosary Beads were of supre quality, serving as the Life-bound Immortal Instrunt of the Joyful Arhat, infused with the Principle of Yin and Yang, their uses infinite.

But now, he had chosen the most extre thod, allowing the workings of Yin and Yang to clash to the limit, using the self-detonation of his Life-bound Immortal Instrunt as a sacrifice, to evoke that initial destructive potential as if recreating the world.

With this, not to ntion breaking the Seventh Rank Termination Array, at least a lifeline could be blasted open.

That was all he wanted. At this point, he had no other extravagant hopes, only seeking a way out.

However…

The opponent simply brushed it aside, the Five Colors Divine Light erging again, restraining Yin Yang and the Five Elents, suppressing the Joyful Rosary Beads, and finally, with a forceful stroke, directly took possession of this special pair of supre Immortal Instrunts.

“You!!!”

The Joyful Arhat’s face twitched with terror beyond asure.

Just how advanced was this person’s cultivation in the Dao of Yin and Yang, to be able to contain the explosion of his Life-bound Immortal Instrunt?

This defied all reason, all logic!

After the shock ca despair. The Joyful Arhat howled, his Buddha power raging out of control, Yin and Yang reversing and clashing to the extre, intent on an act of mutual destruction.

Surely the Fallen Demonic Evil Buddha was true to his extre nature!

But the opponent remained indifferent, the Five Colors Divine Light unfurling and shattering the Protective Buddha’s Light with a Scouring the Court and Sweeping the Den technique.

“Ah!!!”

A cry of misery followed as the explosive Buddha power crumbled away in an instant, fading into the radiance, no longer to extres.

“…”

“…”

“…”

For a mont all was silent, the crowd stood stunned, uncertain of what to do, and the Demon Soldiers and Generals were too shocked to react, only coming to their senses as the Divine Light approached, by then it was too late to escape their fate.

The Divine Light moved through them, Scouring the Court and Sweeping the Den, seizing the remnants of the Demon Soldiers and concluding the battle.

The crowd finally awoke to the realization, yet they dared not make a sound, fearing to stir further trouble.

Xu Yang paid no attention to them, stepping through the void, he approached Jian Ni: “Does the Master have any injury?”

Jian Ni looked at him, her expression changing slightly, revealing a hint of complexity, and she pressed her palms together in a gesture of respect: “Amitabha, thank you, fellow Taoist… senior, for your rescue!”

“No need to be polite.”

Xu Yang smiled and got straight to the point, “I ca here today for a matter pertaining to a past life connection, I hope the master will assist !”

“A past life connection?”

Jian Ni murmured, her eyes then shifting towards Brahman City.

Xu Yang followed her gaze, waved his sleeve and shone the Divine Light, summoning soone over.

“Master!”

“Qingyang?”
