He took a deep breath, trying hard to calm himself. However, even as he tried to restrain himself, a trace of gloom and unwillingness still revealed itself in his tone.
"A leopard tail? You went to the Longn Cave?" The cold face of Ban finally showed a trace of astonishnt. His eyes were filled with puzzlent and inquiry toward Zhurong.
Longn Cave, this na echoed like thunder in the Xingdou Great Forest. It was a place full of mystery and danger. Countless adventurers had tried to delve into it, seeking the legendary treasure. However, those who managed to co out alive were few and far between. It was said that only the truly lucky ones could encounter the maker of the Three-colored Saliva — Cangxue’s Fang — inside the Longn Cave, and gain enormous rewards from it.
Zhurong nodded, his face looking sowhat gloomy, "Yes, I went. But I didn’t encounter Cangxue’s Fang. Instead, I was nearly killed by a three-tailed peak-level leopard." His tone was filled with helplessness and anger, as if being chased by that leopard was the greatest humiliation of his Longn Cave trip.
At this ti, Liu Deng, Lan Shen, and Feilin also ca over. They curiously scrutinized Ban and Zhurong, wanting to understand the relationship between these two.
"Ban, do you know each other?" Liu Deng asked first.
Ban nodded lightly, which made Liu Deng’s mouth twitch, "If you know each other, why fight upon eting?" He really couldn’t understand the logic of these two; since they were acquaintances, why were they drawing swords at each other at first sight?
"We are sparring." Ban explained indifferently, as if eting and fighting was the most normal thing for them.
Liu Deng laughed awkwardly, "Indeed worthy of Ban; even your sparring thods are so unique." He secretly sighed, realizing he truly couldn’t understand the world of these two.
However, Zhurong suddenly shouted grimly, "What do you know, this is our business!" His eerie green eyes flickered with a dangerous glow, making Liu Deng’s hair stand on end. Liu Deng was not truly scared by these eyes, but he at least knew he was no match for this weirdo in front of him.
To avoid awkwardness and conflict, Ban quickly changed the subject, "Zhurong, where is your team?" He wanted to know if Zhurong, like others, had also ford a team to explore the Xingdou Great Forest.
Zhurong shook his head and snorted with laughter, "I wouldn’t deign to team up with those wastes, hiding day and night, not even daring to show their faces." His tone was full of disdain and contempt, as if those who tead up were insignificant weaklings in his eyes.
Hearing this, Feilin’s scornful voice suddenly rang out, "Aren’t you the sa, not even daring to show us your face?" She crossed her arms, squinting at Zhurong with a face full of provocation and disdain. She had long found this odd person distasteful, and finally found an opportunity to refute him.
Upon hearing this, Zhurong suddenly turned his head, his eerie green eyes staring dead-on at Feilin. A dangerous aura emanated from him, as if he could attack Feilin at any mont. However, Feilin stared back at him fearlessly, her expression even more contemptuous.
Seeing this, Ban quickly stepped forward to diate, "Alright, alright, we’re all friends, let’s not hurt the harmony over such trivial matters." He did not want these two to fight in front of him, especially since there were deeper ties and cooperation between them.
Upon hearing Ban’s words, Zhurong took a deep breath, forcefully suppressing the anger in his heart. He knew that he was no match for Feilin now, and Ban was right; they had more important things to do. So he turned around and ignored Feilin, instead speaking to Ban, "I ca this ti to ask if you would go to a certain place with ."
"What place?" Ban asked curiously. He knew Zhurong wouldn’t seek him out without reason; there must be important matters to discuss. Moreover, he was curious about the place Zhurong ntioned, wondering if it was as mysterious and dangerous as the Longn Cave.
Liu Deng, seeing Feilin provoking Zhurong on her own, was startled and quickly gave her a glare, trying to stop her with his eyes. His eyes were full of warning: Don’t you see this guy’s strength? We are no match for him, if you don’t want to live, we still want to! Don’t make trouble!
However, Feilin did not seem to understand Liu Deng’s intent, or perhaps she did not care at all. She walked straight to Zhurong, her gaze firm as she t Zhurong’s fierce eyes.
"No need to glare at like that," Feilin said fearlessly, "others might fear you, but I do not. I’m not afraid of soone as heartless as Ban, let alone you, who has already lost to him once."
