"Not bad, not bad, congratulations!"

At this mont, Wang Wu was finally overjoyed, extrely happy. Even though the stored food had been reduced to only one-third after these two ordeals, he felt it was no longer an issue.

Now he could swallow ice and snow without any pressure, and even search for so food under the snow.

As long as he didn’t face the frigid wind directly, he should have no worries for this winter.

"However, I can also try to test my resistance to that frigid wind. As long as I return in advance each ti to avoid extensive frostbite, it shouldn’t consu too much food."

Wang Wu pondered. Even severe frigid winds only inflicted 32 points of frostbite damage if he persisted for 6 seconds, and his current Perfect Ice Resistance could provide up to 35 points of immunity.

So within ten seconds, there shouldn’t be a problem.

Additionally, he instinctively felt that although those frigid winds were a dreadful disaster, they might also be an opportunity. If he could develop a corresponding resistance, it would be a gain.

In the days that followed, Wang Wu recuperated in his abode for two days, gradually easing his tense emotions. Only then, after fully preparing, did he cross the tunnel again and arrive at the secret door.

This ti, he clearly felt the difference. Even lying in the snow for hours, he didn’t feel cold, and his Satiety wouldn’t double in consumption.

Of course, the premise is not to be blown by the frigid wind.

The outside world was still engulfed in wind and snow, hardly able to see the sky, let alone expecting any Golden Particles.

He wondered what those Great Demons would do in such weather—would they co out to capture people?

Wang Wu let his mind wander, then slowly crawled out of the snow nest.

At that mont, a fierce white-haired wind blew over, and he couldn’t help but shiver, even feeling countless piercing pains on the surface of his skin. He could also clearly feel the cold penetrating his flesh and into his marrow.

His body still found it difficult to resist the erosion of the frigid wind.

But it was bearable.

If he could find a taphor, before his Ice Resistance reached 10, standing in this wind was truly like being cut a thousand tis by knives ford from the cold wind.

But now, it was akin to an ordinary person rolling naked in the snow in the dead of winter.

It was bearable!

This was the greatest progress.

Wang Wu gritted his teeth while sensing his body’s condition and calculating ti. He had previously decided that once ten seconds hit, he would imdiately return without delay.

Three seconds!

Five seconds!

Eight seconds!

There was still no indication of a breach in defense,

and he could still hold on, which was truly incredible.

He only felt pain in his body, but his limbs and torso showed no signs of being frozen stiff.

No, he couldn’t take risks.

So as soon as ten seconds hit, even if no information appeared, Wang Wu imdiately crawled back into the snow nest and into the tunnel.

After staying inside for a mont, there was still no information about a breach, his Life Value hadn’t dropped, and the only change was the threads of cold that had pierced his body, marrow, and flesh, still roaming around like cobwebs, occasionally bringing a cold sting, causing him to grimace and shiver all over.

This wasn’t right.

He had never encountered such a situation before.

Wang Wu prepared for the worst, ready to gorge on food if things took a turn for the worse, hoping it wouldn’t turn into a supernatural event.

Back in his abode, he stood guard, carefully sensing the situation within his body. After about ten minutes, the cobweb-like cold coursing through his body began to gradually weaken, and the stinging pain slowly disappeared until it was completely gone.

"Huh? What’s going on here!"

"Did the cold get absorbed by or expelled from my body?"

Wang Wu was puzzled. From start to finish, his Life Value hadn’t decreased, and his Satiety consumption was normal, but there was no information notification.

It was truly strange!

To be safe, Wang Wu waited a whole day in his abode to finally ensure there was no danger.

The cold that had invaded his body was eventually digested by him.

Maybe this was the advantage brought by Perfect Ice Resistance.

Of course, he had other thoughts, like he thought of the White Rat that could cast Ice Magic. He wondered if he was retracing its path, but could only wait and see.

The next day, Wang Wu erged from the snow nest again, standing amidst the wind and snow, letting the frigid wind howl around him.

This ti, he relaxed slightly, staying outside for fifteen seconds.

Though compared to last ti, it was only five seconds more, once ten seconds passed, the intensity of the cold surging within his body skyrocketed.

It felt like hundreds of sharp wires were threading through his body, with the pain nearly amplified several tis, making him break out in cold sweat and rush back hurriedly.

But the bizarre part was here.

Even though he was grimacing in pain, his Life Value remained unaffected, and no informational hints appeared. Instead, after resting for about half an hour, the stinging sensation would dissipate, and the invading cold would disappear as well.

"I don’t believe in this evil!"

After a brief rest, Wang Wu once again crawled out of the snow nest to endure the frigid wind for another fifteen seconds. No, this ti, gritting his teeth, he actually held out for eighteen seconds before rolling back.

Just those additional three seconds had him writhing on the ground, crying out in pain!

However, still, no information appeared, he didn’t lose any health, and after about half an hour, everything would return to normal.

It was as if he had seen a ghost.

So Wang Wu rested for a bit, then ventured out again, enduring the pain and returning after eighteen seconds.

In this back-and-forth, by the end of the day, he had done this a dozen or so tis. Cumulatively, he had stood in the frigid wind for almost 300 seconds.

And still, after resting for a while, everything would return to normal.

Wang Wu really wasn’t going to let it go, even though nightfall brought fiercer frigid winds, he persisted tirelessly.

Unknowingly, when he had spent about 500 seconds in the frigid wind, a change finally occurred.

At this mont, he was writhing in agony inside the tunnel, because this ti he overindulged a bit, enduring for 20 seconds, and ended up painfully banging against the ground and tunnel walls.

Interestingly, this mad banging actually helped quickly alleviate so of the pain.

Wang Wu was pleasantly surprised, disregarding other concerns, and simply crashed against the solidified walls in various angles. Each collision seed to sort out the chaotic cold within him slightly, like finding a smooth flow in typical terms.

Eventually, he even beca addicted to it, feeling he could guide the wandering cold within him along fixed routes through different angles of banging.

So routes were quite difficult and painful, but others were very smooth. The cold passing through made him feel elated, comfortable, and satisfying!

Sensations of bliss he had never felt before!

He even felt like he might ascend from the ecstasy.

Unconsciously, as he continued to channel the cold within to conform to a singular path, without any warning, that damned, ghostly information finally appeared!

"You have successfully absorbed and tad a bit of Ice Spiritual Qi from the frigid wind!"

"You have successfully opened a branch ridian."
