Li Ang had just stepped forward when he felt soone grab his fingers. Turning around, he saw Katerina shaking her head slightly at him.

She didn’t want Li Ang to take the risk. To put it nicely, it was an adventure, but bluntly, it was simply a suicide mission.

She still rembered Li Ang’s performance inside the reaction test device, where he hadn’t even passed the beginner level.

Even the record holder of the reaction test device in the training base, the man with glasses, had only passed the grade A difficulty test. Even he nearly mishandled during the 0.6 seconds reaction ti, let alone Li Ang, who was far inferior to him.

From another perspective, Katerina guessed that the group of Mutant Warriors from Japan probably had other thods to open the door. They might be keeping these thods as their trump card, or perhaps there was a price to be paid, which had prevented them from using them thus far.

Otherwise, as the strongest party, they shouldn’t maintain such a good mood when there was little hope of opening the main gate.

However, Li Ang hadn’t thought so much. Or rather, he couldn’t be bothered to analyze these. His only thought was to waste less ti and quickly take what he needed and leave.

Li Ang responded with a determined look and then, without hesitation, reached his hand into the black hole on the gate.

The carelessness of his action was as if he was reaching into his own pocket.

Katerina intended to stop him but it was too late. She regretted not being more decisive earlier.

Even Blinton, the man with glasses who had declared that he would rather die than go inside again, didn’t dare to look in that direction.

The first ti he had reached into the hole, it was only because of Li Ang’s intervention that he had managed to rescue his fingers.

Now, when he himself was threatened, it was Li Ang who stepped forward again, while he didn’t even have the courage to speak up, choosing instead to escape.

His conscience tornted him with countless voices. Blinton even recalled the first ti he discovered his "superpower" and had sworn to beco a superhero soday.

But now? He didn’t even dare take a little risk. Perhaps it was because over the years he had made a lot of money and his status had improved. He always felt that many risks were unnecessary, and many tasks need not be done personally.

It was only now that he rembered how little progress he had made in his abilities over the past two years, even occasionally regressing.

Blinton suddenly stood up. He wanted to pull Li Ang’s arm out before he got injured. Next, he would either take a serious risk himself or take on the group of Japanese, as there was no way the outco could get worse.

At the sa ti as he stood up, Li Ang had also pulled his hand out. From start to finish, he hadn’t shown any violent reaction, as if he had simply reached in and then pulled sothing out.

The two of them breathed a sigh of relief. Fortunately, he didn’t reach for the key, and although the subsequent problem remained challenging, at least Li Ang’s hand was safe.

But when Blinton stepped forward, indicating that he wanted to try himself, he suddenly saw that Li Ang, upon pulling his hand out, was holding a stone key.

When had he taken it out? Why wasn’t there any reaction visible?

Could it be that he could retrieve the key without triggering any chanisms?

For a mont, several questions flashed through his mind, and not just his—others were thinking alike, not having expected that the "hand-chopping" key could be taken out so effortlessly.

Even the long-haired Japanese man walked over curiously, tilting his head and asking,

"Kid, how did you get it out?"

"Is it any of your business?"

Li Ang didn’t even look at him as he took the key and inserted it into the lock on the door.

He naturally wouldn’t, nor did he have the ti, to explain that under the strong influence of Spirit, the entire internal structure of the door was visible to him. He had used the power of Spirit to directly lock all the chanism’s components, effectively shutting down the entire chanism.

With his reaction ability, he could have taken the key out before the blade fell, but there was no need; nor was he one to show off unnecessarily.

"Damn, is this how you talk to ? I think you need to learn how to respect your elders!"

The long-haired man said as he lifted his arm, ready to teach Li Ang a lesson, but Yoshimura, the mass of flesh behind him, called him off.

"Mr. Hirano, don’t be too hasty. After all, it’s good that we got the key."

He really wasn’t too concerned about how Li Ang had managed to get the key without triggering the chanism. After all, it was their first and probably last ti in this place.

And now that they had the key, such chanisms lost their value, unless they encountered the sa type of obstacle later. But by that ti, it would be simple for him to try again.

The long-haired man snorted, warning Li Ang with his eyes before turning to leave, but unexpectedly, Li Ang called out to him.

"You talk a lot. Wonder if a couple of slaps would make you quiet down."
