John was truly puzzled this ti; he couldn’t figure out why Li Ang had suddenly taken a break from school when everything seed fine.

As the two walked and talked, John grew genuinely admiring upon learning that Li Ang was doing so to focus on improving himself and to have ti to participate in various competitions.

Although Li Ang stated that he would eventually get his high school diploma, it was clear that he had completely given up on the chance to attend college.

He finally realized where he had lost.

He studied Boxing hard and won competitions, but in the end, it was all to secure admission to a good college through this particular talent.

Yet, Li Ang had directly given up on his studies to focus on personal growth, putting them on completely different levels.

However, after deep reflection, even though his nickna had changed from "Tank John" to "Toy Car John" following the match, he didn’t bla Li Ang, but instead, imdiately reflected upon his own weaknesses.

Otherwise, it wouldn’t have co to the point where he hit Li Ang with more than thirty punches that had no effect, while he himself had been knocked down by just one punch from Li Ang and couldn’t get up.

Thus, he ca up with the idea to find Li Ang as his sparring partner, learning from the stronger to beco stronger himself—the fastest way to do so.

Li Ang was quite happy too; he had also been looking for a sparring partner like John, and here he was, approached by John first.

The difference in who approached whom changed the paynt relationship between them, a very profitable move.

John had plenty of spare ti to learn Boxing and even hired a professional coach; naturally, he wasn’t short on money, and the two struck a deal.

Each sparring session would last 90 minutes, with a rounded fee of one hundred US dollars, making an hourly wage of over sixty dollars.

To be honest, this price wasn’t expensive, mainly because Li Ang thought he was also benefiting a lot and didn’t want to charge too much.

Since they got off school early, they decided to train first and then go eat.

The training venue was inside John’s school; no wonder the school had so many Boxing champions—the emphasis was clearly different.

Li Ang just glanced at the size of the Boxing gym in their school, which was more than four tis larger than his own.

Needless to say, the facilities and equipnt were complete and well-maintained by professionals.

About twenty people, including a few female boxers, were in the venue, creating a highly enthusiastic atmosphere that was incomparable to his own school’s.

As John walked in with Li Ang, all eyes in the gym were on them.

In the school, perhaps not many knew Li Ang, but in the Boxing gym, Li Ang was undeniably a star.

"Wow, isn’t that this year’s champion, ’the Undying’?"

"It looks like the captain brought him over; did they not have enough last ti and want to have another go?"

The atmosphere in the venue imdiately livened up.

Many people crowded around, wanting to get closer to Li Ang, keen to see how he was built, withstanding so many punches without any trouble.

The two female boxers even threw seductive glances at Li Ang, eyeing him with brazen, burning gazes.

Perhaps Asians weren’t always well-received in many places, but Li Ang had proved in more and more situations that as long as one is strong enough, one can earn respect and admiration anywhere.

Upon learning that Li Ang was brought by John to be his sparring partner, everyone admired John’s boldness.

But the fact of the matter was just that; though John’s punches seed ineffective against Li Ang, anyone who had sparred with him knew how heavy John’s punches really were.

So among those present, there were barely two who could spar with John, making Li Ang the best choice.

There were also so who weren’t present at the match that day and had only heard everyone praising Li Ang; seeing Li Ang step into the ring, they crowded around, eager to witness his strength firsthand.

"Where would you like to start training?"

"Let’s start with resistance to being hit."

Though everyone mocked his punches as being weak, unable to knock down Li Ang despite the many blows, what he really cared about was the fact that he was knocked out by a single punch from Li Ang.

He had taken punches from everyone present, but he had never been knocked down by a single punch before this; until then, he had been quite confident in his ability to take a hit.

But Li Ang’s ordinary punch shattered his confidence.

"Alright, let’s begin."

Though Li Ang was keener to train his resistance, it was fine to work on his punching power as well, especially since he was the one being paid.

"Bang!"

Even with ample preparation, John was still shocked by the speed of Li Ang’s punch; had Li Ang not deliberately aid at his gloves, John would likely have been unable to block it.

"Next, I’ll gradually increase the power of my punches, and you provide feedback whenever needed."

Li Ang, of course, had no intention of throwing heavy punches right from the start; the other party had paid for a ninety-minute session, and it wouldn’t do to knock him out cold in less than a minute.

During this process, Li Ang was also continuously controlling his power output.

Even though his current level of muscle sensitivity and body control was very strong, the fact remained that his strength was increasing more rapidly, so he was still not very satisfied with his control over his own power.
