In his view, these students should just obediently follow orders and not have any situations where they negotiate with him.

Moreover, even though Li Ang had completed the task, these were already his sunk costs. If he still wanted to get this matter resolved, then he should definitely do it as told.

If he gave up now, he would only lose more than if he had from the start.

The school had finally produced a student capable of bringing honor to the institution, they couldn’t just let him slip away easily.

He was counting on Li Ang to bring in so more achievents for him. When the school’s reputation grew, student enrollnt would increase, and so would the inco.

However, he overestimated his own influence and underestimated Li Ang’s resolve.

Li Ang could tell from his deanor that continuing the conversation today would definitely be fruitless.

He frowned as he watched the school leader puffing on a cigar, shrouded in smoke.

Nowadays, he was very sensitive to these slls.

"It’s better not to smoke in public places."

To his surprise, the school leader took an even deeper drag before answering slowly:

"I believe that as a student, you should first correct your attitude when speaking to a teacher. Moreover, this is my office, you have the right to leave."

Li Ang, not in the mood for more nonsense, pulled a coin out of his pocket and with a flick of his finger, shot it like a bullet, slicing off half of the cigar in the man’s hand.

At the sa ti, the coin still packed enough force to embed itself in the wooden cabinet behind him.

The sudden change shocked the old man, causing his body to jerk and stiffen.

If it hadn’t been for the lack of a gunshot sound, he might have thought Li Ang had fired a gun at him.

It was only when he slowly turned his head and saw the coin embedded one-third of the way into the cabinet behind him that his astonishnt intensified.

If that had hit him, it might have penetrated his flesh as well.

"Li... Li Ang, I an, we can talk this out, don’t play with dangerous things, it’s not good if soone gets hurt."

"Smoking is bad for your health, better not to do it often, and don’t be too frightened, my aim is quite good," Li Ang suggested with a friendly smile.

"Bang!"

As Li Ang spoke, another coin flew out, hitting the coin embedded in the cabinet perfectly. This impact drove the coin completely into the wood.

"See, what did I say."

Despite the previous occurrence, the second coin still made the old man shudder.

"That... that matter with your school registration..."

He was cut off mid-sentence as Li Ang interrupted him again.

"No worries, I shouldn’t have any issues with transferring schools, should I? Sherwood High School has already contacted , saying they can take care of these problems as long as I transfer my registration over to them."

If Li Ang had insisted on dropping out, he could have considered it a joint loss. But if Li Ang had just received recognition from the school and then imdiately transferred to a neighboring school, it would be a unilateral loss for their school.

If the principal learned that this was caused by him, he would undoubtedly be in for a scolding.

Moreover, the reason Li Ang gave also indirectly offered him an excuse, making it seem like he wasn’t just agreeing to this because of a personal threat.

"Li Ang, there’s really no need. The transfer procedures are quite troubleso, and the school can help you with any difficulties. Just go back and study for now, I’ll have the paperwork ready for you right away."

Li Ang inwardly cursed "spineless" and turned to leave the office.

Although it was true that there might be other schools wanting to recruit Li Ang, this had not yet happened; he had completely fabricated it, but it was enough to bluff the old man.

Amidst his dual approach, the school leader’s efficiency in handling things soared, and he had delivered all the necessary paperwork to Li Ang’s classroom before school ended.

Because the last class was a math lesson taught by Sofia, Li Ang quietly finished it before he left.

"Will you co back here in the future?"

In a corner of the school corridor away from the caras, Sofia asked Li Ang with a forlorn face, looking like a thief while keeping an eye on their surroundings.

"Of course. I haven’t moved, so if you miss , just call any ti."

Li Ang patted Sofia’s head to comfort her.

With her face flushed and making sure no one was around, Sofia pinched him quietly and whispered:

"Then... co over to my place tonight, I bought a new outfit, help review it."

Li Ang knew so doors, once opened, are hard to close, so he helplessly nodded, considering it a parting gift.

At the school gate, Li Ang unexpectedly found a familiar face seemingly waiting for him.

"Do you need sothing from ?"

The unexpected visit from John, the runner-up in the last boxing match, certainly surprised him.

However, it didn’t seem like John was there to settle any unresolved issues from their previous bout.

John approached Li Ang with a smile and a nod, saying:

"The thing is, I’d like to ask you to be my sparring partner, if that’s okay? I know this might be a bit abrupt, but..."

"No problem, although my sparring fee might be a bit pricey."

As he was still fretting about how to persuade Li Ang, he was surprised by Li Ang’s straightforward acceptance.

"Ah?"

John reflexively let out a puzzled sound, then quickly responded:

"The price isn’t an issue, can I pay you double the market rate?"

"Also, when are you usually available? After school, or on weekends?"

"I’m free anyti these next few days, I’ve already taken a leave of absence."

"Ah?"
