For over three hundred years, Aha had been in a state of surveillance. THEY are virtually harmless aside from the pranks they did now and then. The power of the Cocoon could not permanently seal THEM—not without diverting a greater fraction of it.

The Cocoon of Finality is a higher-dinsional being. Its power is vast to the point Herrschers are rely lower-leveled projections of its true body. Still, its power is not infinite. Kiana used most of it for the imaginary barrier enhancent and ti dilution.

Aha beca a ticking ti bomb they temporarily ignored…

Until now.

The first to be deployed were three palm-sized talismans. Each of them was written in yellowed paper. Eastern runic scripts served as its borders, with several noticeable characters written on its center—the ones for “Heaven”, “Earth”, and “Human”.

These three talismans are eighth-grade Dao Talisman Array, the ‘Three Thousand World Edict Establishnt’!

The one holding them was Ji Xuanyuan. She placed them in-between of her fingers. Her mind had long since connected to the talismans’ Daos.

“Are you ready?”

Her soft voice reached Hei Xuanyuan’s ears. Different from her, nine identical silver swords floated around Hei Xuanyuan. She grasped an entire jade bottle filled with seventh-grade restorative pills. The spiritual qi consumption borne by this set of special eighth-grade Dao Artifacts was imnse. Without using the forbidden technique, this was the only other way to use it.

These Dao Artifacts’ purposes were singular—to trap. One shouldn’t be fooled by its killing aura and the swords’ appearance. It was nad ‘Banished Immortal’s Imprisonnt’ for a good reason. Whoever gets trapped by this sword array cannot leave.

“Mhm.”

Knowing they are the ‘starting’ party, the two no longer hesitated.

Sou-!

Sou-!

Sou-!

Ji Xuanyuan flicked her right hand. The three talismans swiftly escaped her grasp. They all surrounded the comical mask floating mid-air.

“Mfm..!”

Muffled noises ca out of it. THEY wanted to say sothing, but to no avail. Its owner, Vita, watched everything with an entertained look.

Leveraging the connection ford between her and the talisman, she used up its power.

“I will confer. Sever the heavenly way, the leader of the apathetic.”

Hum-!

Buzz-!

A blinding white light swept through the void. It reached out throughout the solar system. The formations were ready this ti around, blocking this sight. Only the ones currently outside could witness this event; relevant personnel of both the Sect and the Federation had long cleared out others.

The white light brought three shackles. They shot straight out of the void, wrapping around the palm-sized feathered mask. THEY attempted to pierce through the higher dinsions, wanting to summon more of THEIR power, but to no avail. THEIR connection to heavens have been sealed.

“Sever the earthly realm, the pitfall of desires.”

Hum-!

Buzz-!

This ti, a dark brown light swept through the void. The mask was brought to an abrupt halt, frozen by an invisible force. THEY can no longer affect the real universe, for their connection to it was severed.

The true essence of the ‘Three Thousand World Edict Establishnt’ is to exert control over status, reality, and existence.

Status backs up one’s power—the Dao one treads.

Reality serves as an anchor for one to never get lost.

Existence ties their traces within the world, be it the special causal network, the severed karma, or their past, present, and future.

These three correspond to the Heavenly, Earthly, and Human Realms, respectively. Affecting one of them impacts the power of a cultivator—even Dao Integration experts. Not to ntion Aeons. Now that two-thirds of Aha’s fragnted power was sealed, THEY beca a fish in the chopping board.

Ji Xuanyuan never carried out the third seal. She nodded at Hei Xuanyuan as her nine identical swords flew to surround the helpless mask. These swords were visible at first, but as ti went by, they turned into rays of golden light. The swords’ speed surpassed the speed of light, with no signs of stopping.

Soon, they ford a spotless spherical barrier. Its proportions are perfect. It possessed zero gaps whatsoever. The most important thing was the sluggish aura it emitted. Just by looking at it, they felt suppressed. Their thoughts turned slower in a nigh-noticeable pace. Their movents lagged behind. The spiritual qi inside them beca slightly difficult to move.

Such was the Dao of Myriad Suppression at the core of this sword array. Everything would cease for its target, similar to IX’s influence. Be it thoughts, existence, or cultivation, the target would forget it themselves. They would be the one self-destructing. The Dao itself does zero direct harm.

A cruel way to end a resilient cultivator’s life, but that was how things are in the cultivation world.

The triple-layered suppression coming from Kiana, Ji Xuanyuan, and Hei Xuanyuan was more than enough to deal with Aha. The only thing they needed to do was to anchor these pieces in this place. They would slowly remove their control over these treasures and nail them down with eighth-grade spirit veins converted from the imaginary space. Shi Tian did just that in Amphoreus. Only, he cut off the required ti through the use of Nine Lives Burning Samsara Art.

Everyone stared at the void that went still. The ‘nailing’ process seems to have gone down smoothly. Only Ji Xuanyuan knew the final lacking step was in her hands. Instead of completely activating the third Human edict, she ‘froze’ its progress midway. Its function was to cut off one’s existence. To do that, the edict must track everyone tied to THEIR existence.

Who else could be tied to Aha in the solar system other than fellow Aeons?

Buzz-!

A strange rustling sound ca from everywhere. The presence of life greatly contrasted the cold and lifeless void. The one who was surprised the most was Vita.

“Since when did THEY…”

The mont everyone acknowledged THEIR presence, the veil hiding THEM had disappeared. Shi Tian was the most familiar as to who caused it all.

“IX…”

As one of the four Paths leading towards Finality, IX was no simple Aeon. It wasn’t surprising to see THEM get overlooked all this ti. It just so happened that so other Aeons took advantage of it to sneak inside.

“Five…”
