Both Pablo’s and Harlia’s army were finally inside the Ashen Crucible.
Pablo and Harlia were standing near the entrance of the place and the soldiers were closer at the border of the ground.
The Crucible was covered by dium sized burned black walls from all sides and it was a square shaped place.
No one dared to co near this place so it needed no security.
Both Pablo’s and Harlia’s soldiers were facing problems handling the voices inside their heads but Pablo and Harlia were fine with the voices.
Harlia was fine because she had seen and felt worse and Pablo was fine because the voices inside his head right now weren’t as deadly as the voices he constantly used to hear.
Harlia shrugged after hearing that from Pablo and started walking near the suffering soldiers.
Pablo did the sa as he also walked deeper in the Ashen Crucible.
And as he walked deeper, he jerked his head at Harlia.
And as Harlia walked deeper, she did the sa.
Both Commanders stared at each other and exchanged a nod.

The voices beca louder and the sll of the blood beca more prudent.
Cupid, Pablo’s angel, also felt all this as for the first ti, she had sweat all over her body.
"If not for my duty to stay with you, Pablo. I would have left this place instantly."
Pablo looked at her and he was about to say sothing unserious but when he saw the condition of the Angel, he decided against it.
Also, the sll of the smoke was horrendous and it seed that it was going inside his mind. Heck, inside his whole body. But Cupid’s matters ca first.
’What is going on? How can such a place affect an Angel like you? I can understand humans facing problems but you too? Don’t you have the protection of Alfida?’
"I have. But this land is where the Gods had descended to kill El’Dorado. And I don’t know but I think that El’Dorado has hatred for anything related to Gods so I am feeling this pain as well. Also, I wasn’t strong to begin with."
Pablo couldn’t say anything for sure but if Cupid, an Angel was feeling all this, then...

Pablo looked around to find Sera and he didn’t have to look that far because she was behind him, smiling.
"How can you smile? Can you not feel anything wrong?" Pablo asked.
Sera’s smile turned wider. "I love you, dear."
Pablo frowned. "What are you talking about? I am asking sothing else entirely."

Sera walked towards Pablo.
Pablo was at the end of his wits.
He gritted his teeth.
"I am asking how are you fine? Where is Andrzej? Did he make you fine? Answer !" Pablo yelled but Sera, with the sa smile, kept walking towards Pablo.
"I love you so much, dear. I love you very much. I love you so much that I want..."
Sera’s smile turned wider than ever and Pablo’s senses cried that sothing was wrong.
Sera’s smile didn’t appear human and from nowhere she jumped on him.
"I love you so much that I want..."
Sera opened her mouth and she opened it wide, that ripped her flesh.
"I WANT TO EAT YOU!"
She scread and latched her teeth on Pablo’s neck.
"AaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!"
Pablo scread at the top of his lungs as he fell down on the ground.
The voices in his head roared continuously only one thing and they beca louder and louder.
"Sleep. Sleep. Sleep. Sleep. Sleep. Sleep. SLEEP. SLEEP. SLEEP! SLEEP! SLEEP! SLEEP! SLEEEPPPPP!! SLEEEEPPPPPP!!"
Pablo held on to his consciousness.
"Andre! Andre! Where the hell are you! Angel! Cupid!" Pablo called for the guardian angel of Sera and he even called for Cupid but when he looked around, his eyes widened.
Cupid wasn’t anywhere. The angel wasn’t anywhere to be seen.
She was already feeling bad. Did sothing happen to her? Did the Crucible swallow her? But Andrezj should co. He is the strongest Angel. Where is he? Where the fuck is this male Angel?!
Pablo jerked his hands, the roars inside his head were making him weak and if he gave in to those voices, he would sleep right in this instant.
But that’s when he heard so hurried footsteps coming towards him.
He recognized those steps and felt delighted. Because those footsteps belonged to his right hand man. Draxus Maverick.
"Czar! Czar! Czar!" Draxus shouted while running towards Pablo.
Pablo waited for the man to reach near him and then he would ask him to remove Sera from his body. He had no idea what happened to her but he believed the Crucible made her like this. Andrezj would have been able to handle sothing like this but Pablo figured that the male angel was in so kind of problem as well.
Draxus had co just in ti.
The man stopped running and stood before Pablo.
He stared at his Czar with weird eyes but Pablo didn’t mind them.
"Remove her from , Draxus. She turned nuts." He said.
But Draxus didn’t move an inch.
"Did you not hear? Remove her!" Pablo yelled.
Draxus again didn’t move but this ti, he did the sa thing as Sera.
He smiled.
He smiled wider than ever.
Pablo went silent seeing that.
"Did the ground get you too?" Pablo asked but all he received in reply was...
"Sleep, czar. Sleep. Go to sleep. Go to sleep. SLEEP! SLEEP. SLEEEPPP! You bastard! SLEEPPPP!!"
Draxus began shouting the sa thing that rang inside Pablo’s mind and he was now sure that these two were under the influence of the Crucible.
The voices inside his head beca louder and Draxus beca even louder.
Pablo heard sleep, sleep and sleep from both the outside and inside and he wasn’t sure how long he could manage.
Why was the Crucible making Draxus and Sera shout sleep? What did the ground want from Pablo’s sleep? There were more soldiers. The ground should try to make them sleep? The Crucible should try to make Draxus and Sera sleep as well. Why only Pablo? The Crucible should try to make everyon—
Pablo stopped thinking.
He found sothing.
And what he found made him enraged.
Because not Draxus and not Sera, the one who beca the victim of the Crucible was none other than...
