The two imdiately drew close, wary of each other, stepping out, ready to leave together.
However, Gao Xin roared from outside, "Do you think I don’t exist?"
"Don’t I want to live? I have said, I only accept one-on-one duels!"
"If you two co out together, then let’s all not live, I will kill myself right after you erge!"
As he spoke, Gao Xin darted out, frantically pointing a gun at his own temple!
His eyes were crazy, filled with determination.
This scene frightened the two Radiations; the foot that had stepped out imdiately retracted, their bodies swiftly moving back.
"Bang, bang, bang!" As Sofia retreated, she raised her gun and fired.
But Gao Xin had anticipated this and quickly dodged back.
He roared from behind cover, "Both of you fighting against one ’glass’ person like ? You’re not leaving any way to live, so let’s all not live!"
"I alone will swap for you two, and if this ga kills all ten Radiations because of , then my death will be worth it!"
Hearing this, the two looked grim, but were helpless.
"Damn!"
Louis angrily slamd his hamr on the floor.
Sofia was also gasping with anger, but they both remained still... they realized they could not possibly step out now.
The two Radiations just stood there in their base.
Looking out at the Duel Arena, they dared not step in.
Even though Gao Xin had co to challenge them, they simply could not send out one person.
They had completely lost the last bit of trust in each other.
Since Gao Xin was a Gladiator, if a single person exited as a Gladiator, they would turn into a ’glass cannon,’ and consequently, the people inside the base must close the door.
If a non-Gladiator went out, they could not kill Gao Xin but only maim him and bring him back to the base.
However, the person inside the base could then close the door, vote themselves to beco a Gladiator, hence forming a ’glass cannon’ and reopen the door, turning it into a Radiation-level ’glass cannon.’
That way, ’Gladiator Gao Xin’ and the ’non-Gladiator who exited’ were dood, sooner or later.
It’s safe to say, whoever stayed inside the base could survive alone and control the situation.
In their view, the white base could not possibly leave a black player behind, especially since there had been betrayal and Gao Xin was about to die.
Given all the above, as long as they believed Gao Xin was a Gladiator, neither could step out.
They could only exit together.
But from one side of the base, there could only be one Gladiator.
If they did not beco Gladiators and exited together, then Gao Xin just had to commit suicide imdiately, which ushered in a non-Gladiator period.
All non-Gladiators on the field would be instantly killed.
All three would perish together.
Gao Xin would certainly do this, because with both of them fighting, he had no chance of survival, and perishing together was already a win for him.
Compared to that, a duel might just give him a slim chance to win.
But then, the problem ca back around; neither dared to walk out alone.
Thus, the situation was completely deadlocked.
"Damn it... Damn!"
"This round... we just have to let it go..."
Louis was very unwilling, and so was Sofia, both wishing Gao Xin would just die.
However, at the mont, they were angrily staring out the window, firmly resolved not to fight.
The only strategy now was to let this round pass, letting Gao Xin survive another round, then go back.
Once the opposing black players were all dead, Sofia could turn Louis into a black player; only then might they be able to re-foster a bit of trust.
"Survived..." Gao Xin leaned against the cover, the craziness in his eyes gradually fading away.
When he heard the people inside discussing the dangers of a ’glass cannon,’ he knew the little trust that the two had slowly built up through cooperation had also collapsed.
There wasn’t much trust to begin with, and one more argunt was all it took to end it all.
"That’s the aning of trust."
"If everyone regards life as above all else and speculates on others with a mindset full of hostility."
"Then trust is as fragile as glass, any slight grievances will only expand the crack until it breaks completely."
"Thinking of waiting for the black players to die off?"
"Sorry, but I won’t kill even one."
Gao Xin stood up, his gaze firm.
He bet his life, took the initiative to challenge, and thus brought the pressures back to this side, forcing out the conflicts that were not intensified last round.
With this, the initiative of the ga was once again in his hands.
"Hey, you dare not fight? Then I’m going back."
His arrogant tone infuriated the two Radiations.
But they could only endure.
Gao Xin swaggered off, and as a ’glass’ person sent out for a dood defense, he survived and went back.
The two Radiations watched from windows on both sides, itching with rage, smashing the windows, wishing they could blow open the nano-glass so they could shoot him directly from inside the base.
However, it was useless; the glass was extrely hard.
To kill him from a distance, they must step out.
