’Hubby! That man is Briar’s hubby?’ that was what was swirling in Lisa’s mind as she watched dumbfoundedly as the couple in front of her were in a tight embrace.

Looking at how those two were hugging and that affectionate and doting smile on Logan’s face, Lisa couldn’t believe what she was seeing.

Surely, rumors weren’t ant to be listened to or trusted. The way these people spread the rumors made Briar, the nanny everyone envied, to be uneducated and lowly. For a mont, she didn’t have a positive outlook on the new Mrs. yer she had never seen.

However, she was soone who had spent a few hours chatting with Briar, and their brain waves were moving at the sa pace. So how could she be the kind of person these people gossiped about?

Seeing the two so much in love and unashad of being too intimate, even in public, Lisa’s felt her body heating up. Even her husband didn’t do sothing like that, even in private. Seeing soone who was at the sa age as her husband being so intimate with his wife, Lisa felt envious, but above all was happy for Briar.

At least, she wasn’t just a love-struck fool who would suffer. Logan seed to love her as well, so she wouldn’t suffer at all.

Thinking about how the two had made an appointnt, Lisa applauded herself for her decision to start Briar while they were on the plane.

If she hadn’t made the first move, then perhaps she would be regretting it right now. Thankfully, she made that move and now they could be considered friends or perhaps acquaintances, right?

While Lisa was lost in her thoughts while being fed dog food, Briar was busy acting coquettishly as she felt his arms wrapped around her.

"Hubby, I missed you so much! Thank goodness I returned. I would have grown rust!"

"Puchi....." Logan couldn’t hold it anymore as he listened to those shaless remarks from Briar.

He separated reluctantly from the embrace so that they were facing each other and he said seriously, "dear, aren’t you a bit too excited?" hoping that Briar would tone it down. Wasn’t she seeing that they were in public?

However, when he saw her big eyes blinking with her mouth pursed as if wronged, he couldn’t bear to chide her any further. He could only add, "Ho sweet ho, dear!" a smile on his face and she bead at him, her sulking automatically disappearing.

’I have been had!’ he concluded upon seeing her playful gaze.

"Thank you for welcoming , hubby!" before he could express himself, Briar said, sincerity in her voice and her eyes sparkling so bright like diamonds. And that cooled him down.

"I missed you as well," he whispered against his ear, a satisfied smirk tugging on his lips.

Briar looked away shyly upon hearing that and in the process, she spotted Lisa, who she had sohow thrown out of her mind after seeing Logan, and suddenly felt embarrassed.

She turned her head back to Logan and raised her head slightly to look at him. Logan, seeing her gaze at him, looked at her with a playful smile on his face and asked, "What is it?" having an inkling that she was about to do sothing again.

Briar, upon hearing that, grinned at him, not caring about face in public and answered, "I want you to et a new friend I made on the plane. I made an appointnt with her to go to the salon together tomorrow. You wouldn’t mind saying a few words to her, right?" and in a swoop, spilt all the beans.

When Logan heard that, he shifted his focus from Briar to the woman who was standing there without causing a fuss and nodded. "Um, let’s et her. She is your friend, after all!"

And Briar’s eyes shone when she got that go-ahead.

She turned swiftly without saying anything to him and looked at Lisa with sparkling eyes before saying, "Lisa, co and et my hubby!" urging the other over.

Lisa nervously swallowed as she tried to maintain a calm façade and nodded at Briar.

This great opportunity wasn’t sothing that she expected to co across in a million years. When her husband learns of that, she was certain that she would be receiving so expensive gifts.

She had done a good job this ti.

After an inner cheer, she walked confidently towards the couple and didn’t dare look at the bodyguards who were standing guard and shortly she found herself standing just a ter away from the couple. She didn’t dare go anywhere closer than that.

When Briar saw that Lisa was much closer, she smiled at her and then turned to look at Logan.

"Hubby, et Lisa. The friend I talked about earlier," she instructed Lisa formally before turning to Lisa to do the sa. "Lisa, et my hubby!" her tone very shy as she said that.

Logan flicked Briar’s forehead playfully at seeing her shy. How dare she play the shy ga after everything she had done?

He was certain that Chris by now should be having a headache with the PR issues. They must have fed the paparazzi enough material to last the whole year.

Nonetheless, after doing so and watching her rubbing her forehead as she looked at him with a wrongful gaze, Logan looked at Lisa and smiled lightly as he spoke, "Hello. It’s an honor to et you. I hope that she didn’t cause any problems for you on the plane," his tone very doting, as if he was talking about a young child.

Lisa stifled her chuckle when she saw that. The couple’s interaction was sothing that she hadn’t seen in a very long ti and, seeing them that way, she couldn’t help but warm up.

"The pleasure is all mine and no, she wasn’t any trouble. Briar is very good!" she responded without mincing any words.

There was no need to blow rainbow farts since Briar was good in her heart.

Logan’s eyes softened when he heard that and looked at Lisa with approval.

Those who saw the good in his wife were all enlightened people, and he found it difficult to dislike such people.
